Up up up!
Bill W.

Hands down the best steel coaster I've ridden. That first rise is incredible.. over 300 ft! with an amazing view of the lake and the entire park. It's great view at sunset! Although, at sunset, the flying insects come out in force, so beware sitting in the front row! It's very smooth- you won't get beat up on this one like on Ragaru (I hated that coaster). This ride is non-stop... lots of airtime, great views, a couple of pipe tunnels, and, again, incredibly smooth... and really fast. Between this and Steel Vengeance, I'm definitely returning to Cedar Point! We rode this coaster three times during our visit in June.

The best roller coaster experience on the planet, making the 2 and a half hour wait absolutely worth it. You've probably heard of the record breaking, award winning coaster and with all that hype comes over hype. I'll tell you right now it's hype is warranted. This ride was an experience, even waiting in line seeing the trains race by you or above you. It was exhilarating! There's obviously no comparing the ride experience itself, going up the lift hill looking at a 300 foot peak, waiting for that drop... the anticipation was unreal. The drop was gut wrenching but exhilarating all at the same time! It was also the smoothest overall riding experience I've ever been on. I absolutely love this coaster. Best coaster riding experience ever, cannot wait to return to ride this beast again!

Such an awesome roller coaster from beginning to end. I always make sure to ride, Millennium Force, every time i visit Cedar Point. Theres a reason that, Millennium Force, has won the Golden Ticket award, 11 times, it's truly an outstanding roller coaster. Millennium Force is the second fastest ride @ Cedar Point, clocking in at 93 MPH. If you have not been on Millennium Force yet, and your a fan of roller coasters, you need to go ride this roller coaster

§ THE FORCE AWAKENS § ______________ Before we begin, let's take a moment to consider some alarming Yelp facts: Magic Mountain's "X2" roller coaster = 102 reviews. Orlando's "Incredible Hulk" roller coaster = 114 reviews. California's "Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror" drop ride = 448 reviews. .....Cedar Point's "Millennium Force", winner of the Golden Ticket award for 'World's Best Steel Roller Coaster' a record TEN times = 0 reviews. ((page did not exist)) What the hell, people?!? Do I have to do everything around here? *sigh* Okay, fine, I'll take responsibility and jump start this motherfudger. Here we go: ______________ It's fast, it's furious, and it's fun as hell. In keeping with tradition, America's greatest thrill ride paradise unleashed yet another record-shattering ride in May, the year of our coaster lord, 2000 A.D. The world's first "giga coaster" (300+ feet) runs parallel to the Lake Erie shoreline on the far west end of the park and provides picturesque views for those who can muster the courage to keep their eyes open. That's not an easy task, since those riding on the left side of the train will notice a VERY extreme dropoff as they climb the unusually steep lift. It's not your typical clickety-clackity chain lift hill, either. An elevator cable smoothly pulls the train up to the apex at a brisk pace of 15mph (compare this to the 5-8mph encountered on a traditional lift). It's such a quiet ascent, it's almost eerie....or should I say Erie? ;) After that, well, it's all about speed. Hot, nasty, bad-ass speed. 93mph to be exact, and you feel every bit of 4.5G's pulling out of the first drop, which comes dangerously close to cerebral greyout territory (ride it and you'll see what I mean). The first turn has to be significantly overbanked because at such high velocities, a typical turn would be uncomfortable to riders and place too much stress on the track. The 36-person trains then scream through a tunnel and up over a floater hill on its way to the midcourse turnaround on adventure island (where the dinosaurs are!) MF makes some high speed, low-to-the-ground maneuvers and once again crosses the lagoon over an airtime bump and rockets into another tunnel. One final bunny hop and a fly-by past the queue of anxious riders, into another overbanked turn, and Millennium finally hits the brakes. ~Special ride elements~ *310ft cable lift hill @ 45° up *300ft drop @ 80° down *Overbanked turn (pitched at 122° from the horizontal) *Tunnel *182ft parabolic 'floater hill' *Tunnel It's 2 minutes and 20 seconds of pure awesomeness, boys and girls. Sure, there's a couple decent airtime moments, but that's not what Millennium is known for [sidenote: if you want negative G's at Cedar Point, I recommend Magnum XL-200 on the other side of the park, as it's loaded with 'em]. MF is a sleek, polished coaster that focused on delivering the smoothest possible ride experience at the highest possible speeds. ?BinsNoBins? = NoBins. Stash your stuff in a locker before getting in line. There are coaster enthusiasts out there who will argue that SFNE's 'Superman the Ride' aka 'Bizarro' is a superior coaster, but I find their lack of faith disturbing. {{uses dark side choking powers}} Speaking of Sith Lords....... Arthur Levine (from About.com) rated Millennium Force as one of the 'most overrated' roller coasters of all time. This just in: Arthur Levine is one of the most overrated writers of all time and should give himself a rattlesnake enema. Idiot. Eric S's Cedar Point coaster ranking = 2nd out of 13. Verdict : every single positive thing said about Millennium Force is true. It is an achievement in thrill ride engineering and never fails to delight. If you should visit Cedar Point without having ridden MF, then your trip was wasted. But believe it or not, this legendary - nee, EPIC - roller coaster is not #1 at the park. But then, what is?.....stay tuned! Remember, young coaster padawan........ The Force will be with you. Always.

If I could give out 10 stars, I would for this magnificent piece of steel. Beautifully designed and crafted and has an incredible view. The drop is insane overlooking the lake and the rest of the ride lives up to all the hype as one of the best coasters in the world. Amazing air time and speed throughout the ride and keeps the adrenaline pumping like crazy. Highly recommended even with a long line. Loved the front row. A++++++++++++ 2018 Review... still the best rollercoaster in the world. I rode it twice this past trip and it's still amazing. Front row is just extremely exhilarating and the back row, which I tried for the first time, is wickedly fast.

What a classic coaster! It's a wonderful ride with an amazing view. It's in my top 5 roller coasters of all time (Number 1 OBVIOUSLY being steel vengeance). How they set up the loading and offload of the cars is very efficient. They have a different station to both load and unload passengers. While ascending the view is amazing!! You see downtown Sandusky and nothing but Lake Erie as you go up. It's such a wonderful view. It's very steep and can cause one to feel a bit uneasy but it's just so calm and relaxing up there (at least for me, haha). My favorite parts of the roller coaster is the ascend and the ton of G-forces you experience after the first drop. Obviously you have to ride this one before you leave. I would suggest probably running to steel vengeance when the park opens and then hit maverick and then millennium force after :).

Keven W.

Wow I rode front, back and middle and was very impressed. I like the front the most as I got a lot of g forces. The drop and air time is good. I like it when i almost black out on the first drop. The ride has lots of hills which i like. Overall great ride.

I grew up watching the Travel Channel and constantly seeing specials about Cedar Point, so finally…read moregoing for the first time at 33 honestly felt surreal. Last weekend was definitely one of those core memory trips I'll never forget. I'm part of an LGBTQ+ coaster group called Scream Queens and throughout the year we travel all over the country hitting different parks. Usually our trips are around 20 people, but this time? SIXTY gays descended onto Cedar Point like a very organized pride parade with hydration packs and Fast Lanes. We'd split into smaller groups during the day, but half the time there'd still be 30 of us migrating coaster to coaster together. Every time we made it to the correct station, we'd politely ask the ride ops if we could ride the same train, and every single time they did their best to accommodate us. The staff was genuinely so kind about it too, which we appreciated because coaster people know that kind of thing can absolutely throw off operations. Special shoutout to Alexis working both Wild Mouse and the Himalaya in the Boardwalk area. A few of us walked up in our Scream Queens shirts and completely unprovoked they got on the mic and said: "We want to give a big welcome to the ICONIC Scream Queens joining us today." The way a group of mostly 30 and 40 year old men collectively screamed like little kids... embarrassing but beautiful. The only slight downside was that since it's still early season, a few rides weren't operating like Sky Ride, the Ferris wheel, and Magnum XL-200. Since we were there Thursday through Saturday, having those open probably would've helped spread the crowds out a bit more. But honestly? It didn't take away from how amazing the trip was overall. Absolutely can't wait to go back. Also very curious to see how the park evolves now that it's under Six Flags Entertainment Corporation leadership. The coaster community will definitely be watching lol.

There are so many rides and attractions that it honestly feels impossible to experience everything in just one visit. The thrill rides are incredible. If you love roller coasters, this place is like paradise. From massive towering coasters that shoot you high into the sky to lightning-fast launches and huge drops, the excitement never stops. Some of the rides had our hearts racing before we even got on them just by watching them fly across the tracks. The feeling of climbing slowly to the top of those massive hills and then dropping down at incredible speeds is an adrenaline rush like no other. My kids and their friends absolutely loved the thrill of it all. One of the coolest parts about Cedar Point is just how many rides there are. Everywhere you look there's another roller coaster twisting through the air, another thrill ride spinning and flipping, or another attraction waiting to be explored. There's a great mix of rides too, so whether you like extreme coasters, classic rides, or more family-friendly attractions, there's something for everyone. The atmosphere throughout the park is really fun and energetic. You can hear people cheering, laughing, and screaming with excitement as the rides fly by overhead. Being right on Lake Erie also makes the setting really beautiful. There are some amazing views of the water while walking around the park, which adds to the whole experience. Now, I will say that Cedar Point can definitely be pricey. Tickets, food, and extras can add up pretty quickly when you're visiting with a group or family. The food itself was actually really good, but the food lines were extremely long at times. We definitely spent a good amount of time waiting in line just to grab something to eat. The ride lines were also pretty long, which is somewhat expected at such a popular amusement park. When you have some of the best roller coasters in the world, people are going to line up for them. Even though the wait times could be lengthy, the rides themselves were absolutely worth it once you finally got on. Despite the cost and the long lines, the experience overall was completely worth it. My family and my kids' friends had an absolute blast from the moment we walked into the park until the moment we left. There were so many laughs, so many screams from the roller coasters, and so many fun memories made throughout the day. Cedar Point truly is an iconic amusement park and a must-visit for anyone who loves thrill rides and roller coasters. It's exciting, energetic, and packed with attractions. Even with the long lines and higher prices, the fun and excitement make it a place our group will definitely remember and talk about for a long time.

So I'm going to say that the ride itself is exhilarating and fun but the fact that it's only 1 minute long is a bummer. I wouldn't find myself waiting to ride this for longer than a half hour. Not going to waste time in a line for a ride that's not very long. But the whole theme of it is pretty original. When I'm not on it and you hear the noises, it can be deceiving of what the noises are but when youre on the coaster you realize it's like... sound affects of sirens singing! The whole 90 degree shift hold and drop is epic and worth the lack of time in the ride but it's honestly disappointing how short it is.

This record-breaking dive coaster doesn't just climb, it teases. At the summit, the track tilts forward and holds you there, dangling riders over the drop like bait before sending you plummeting into pure chaos. When it's running, it's a masterpiece of suspense and adrenaline. But... Sirens' Curse has developed a reputation for being a bit temperamental. Maintenance delays, mid-ride stops, and even the occasional evacuation have already become part of its legend. It's frustrating, sure, but it also gives the ride a "survivor's club" vibe when you finally make it through. Ride Stats: Record-breaking height & drop (exact stats TBD) * Sharp, precise layout * Dramatic pause before first plunge Best Seat: Front row -- nothing beats staring straight down that drop Pro Tip: Check the ride's status in the app before heading over -- she's a diva, but worth the wait Photo-Worthy? Absolutely -- the top-hang moment is pure Instagram gold Personal Note: Sirens' Curse is intense, dramatic, and a little unpredictable -- exactly how a coaster with this name should be. When it's on, it's a must-ride. When it's not... well, at least you'll have a good story.

It's got this wild, untamed wilderness vibe that perfectly fits its name. The sleek design, bold colors, and overall atmosphere make it feel like you're on a roller coaster adventure through the backcountry. One of my favorite moments is the unexpected launch underneath the station that shoots you toward the water section -- it's a rush like no other. Like Millennium Force, Maverick's iconic silhouette is visible from the road as you approach the park, a beacon of thrills calling you in. Ride Stats: 4,450 feet of track * 70 mph top speed * 95-degree drop * 2 minutes 30 seconds ride time Best Seat: Front row for pure speed, back row for maximum airtime Pro Tip: Avoid the midday crowds -- rope drop or the last ride of the night means way less waiting. Photo-Worthy? Absolutely, especially near the first drop and water section. And despite the upgrade, this coaster has a BAD reputation. But does it deserve it? Let's find out! So first we climb up the lift hill, and we get a good view of Cedar Point. And a GREAT view of Top Thrill 2's Spike (although this wasn't built when I was there so RIP). We then hit a turnaround and hit the first drop. And we get... AIRTIME! Not a lot, but enough to make our butts go out of the seat. Which, HEY! I'll take it!!! We then hit the standard B&M Vertical Loop, which is fun followed by a Dive Loop which is great due to how much speed we have. But then we hit the INCLINED LOOP! Now, B&M Inclined loops are super rare, which is a shame because they're awesome. I LOVE the Inclined Loop on Riddler's Revenge (Would've also probably loved the one on this when it was Mantis as well as Green Lantern at Great Adventure. Sad that ride got torn down), and I love this one too! Plus, this is the only B&M Floorless coaster to have one of these! Making this super cool! We then hit the mid-course brakes and sadly, this is where Rougarou falls apart, Rougarou kind of sucks from here on out. We then hit some twisty turns which don't do much, a corkscrew that bangs our heads a bit (not too badly thankfully) until we hit the brake run. While Rougarou is not the best B&M looper ever and isn't one of Cedar Point's best coasters, it's not a bad ride by any means. In fact, I consider it to be underrated and a fun ride. Like seriously, from the way my friend talked about this ride, he made it sound like it was as bad as a Vekoma SLC or Green Lantern. LIKE BRO, ARE YOU NUTS???? THIS THING CURBSTOMPS BOTH OF THEM!!! And yeah, after riding it with him, it's really not that bad! That first half is just so good and again, I LOVE INCLINED LOOPS! Plus this never usually has a line. So I recommend checking this out at Cedar Point. Final Score: 72/100 Opened as Mantis in 1996 Reopened as Rougarou in 2015 Built by: B&M Last Ridden: May 20th 2023

Blue Streak is an important part of Cedar Point history with it being their oldest roller coaster. There was a storage bin to put your belongings, so that was a plus! I enjoyed every aspect of this coaster. It did have some shaking on the track, but that was expected. The first drop felt great! I feel that this coaster is a classic and I'm glad it's appreciated! We're here today to ride Blue Streak. A classic wooden coaster located at Cedar Point…read more Now, this ride is the last of the wooden coasters at Cedar Point. Most of them being old asf from the 30's, that were demolished long before I was alive. So I never got to ride those. And then there was Mean Streak which.... didn't have a good reputation and was RMCd into Steel Vengeance. So that leaves Blue Streak. And all I can say is that this ride is FREAKING AWFUL. I'm sorry if you like it, I stand by it. So what makes Blue Streak so bad? Well let's get into it. We first get into the PTC wooden coaster trains. Which, these are not well made. They're crampt, and the lapbar DIGS into your legs. So if you're riding with a larger rider, it's not gonna be fun. So the ride hasn't started yet and I already hate it. NOT A GOOD SIGN. We then head leave the station, and head up the lift hill. We then head down the first drop, I think there's airtime? I can't tell. This ride is too busy trying to send me back to the chiropractor for me to notice. And the worst part is, this ride is going SUPER fast. On most coasters, that would be awesome as it means you get airtime. But here, you're having your shins get crushed by those awful restraints while the ride tries to shake you around and bully you like that one girl did to me back in elementary school (Thanks for that Rachael). After going through several of these airtime hills, I wanted to get off. But sadly, we have to brace for that awful turnaround which makes you feel like you're in a car accident. You then have to brace for even more airtime hills as this ride goes at full speed. Continuing to beat the crap out of you as you scream "OW OW OW." Eventually, you hit the brake run. Thanking the lord that it's over. I'm honestly really sad to write this review. I did NOT expect to have this opinion on Blue Streak. It's a historic ride that on paper should be good. But you can tell that Cedar Point has not been taking care of it. Because now it's on the same level of rides as Manhatten Express before the 2022 refurb, Green Lantern, and Coast Rider. I never got to ride Mean Streak, but I imagine I'd like that ride more than this. At least Mean Streak looked to be smooth and was just boring. This was just brutal. I'd call for the wrecking ball, but like I said, it's a historic wooden coaster. And we all know how the OTHER Blue Streak turned out (F*CK YOU TODD JOSEPH). So if Cedar Point could, I'd love to see GCI or the Gravity Group come in and give this ride a makeover to make it good. Until then, I would NOT recommend riding Blue Streak unless you're a historic coaster nut or you're wearing lots of padding.
