They were done with our duct cleaning in about 2 hours. I requested an additional, same-day service and they were able to accommodate our dryer vent cleaning at the same time. I consider Residential Express's service to be good quality and good value. They were particularly courteous of our pets and reminded us there was a discount coupon available on their website! We currently have an annual HVAC contract with a larger company we are unhappy with. I received quotes from a lot of the top Yelp reviewed electricians and man, even the top rated guys will try and upsell and overcharge. I chose a charger capable of load managing the output during charging, so you won't necessarily be using all 48amps at a time depending on your house's current draw. That allows you to avoid costly panel upgrades. Even after explaining this to all the other electricians who I got quotes from, most of them still tried to upsell. I got one quote for $13,000 to install my EV charger from a well rated 5 star Yelp electrical company. Cee understood right away and was experienced with the Emporia charger. He worked with me on everything I needed, showed up on time and did the job quickly and cleanly. He dealt with the permits and inspection as well. I consider myself pretty handy and do quite a bit of DIY, I trust Cee and his honesty in the work he did and what he charged. That's tough to find in tradesmen and what makes him so valuable. I had started the job myself but got an anchor screw stuck and figured I should have a pro step in so I didn't wreck my new walls. All the supplies were here, placed where they needed to be, holes were measured and marked for custom made rods and drapes. He charges by the hour and moves very, very slow. He didn't have his own step ladder or anchor screws. In the first hour, he managed to put in 3 screws in holes that had already been marked. He claimed he "needed to remeasure" and that's why it took so long, but he used the holes that I had already marked. He also said it was too hard to do with custom cut rods. He also said it wasn't his fault because I had an anchor screw stuck in the wall already, which was the whole reason I hired him. This is what pros do: they come prepared, know the required materials and techniques, and advise the customer on the best way to proceed. I knew we needed to cut it off when he asked me how to use an anchor screw. He didn't know if you needed to pre-drill or not for a very basic and common anchor. I cannot imagine a professional handyman not knowing that. He used a level to stare at the pre-marked holes for what seemed like an eternity, just eating up time. 3 screws = $200. Seems like a nice enough man, but handyman may not be the profession for him, and that's giving him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't just trying to take advantage of someone he assumed was too naive too know how long the job should take. He became very defensive, making excuses when I said we'd need to end the job at one hour. Im sure judging by other less than 5 star reviews here (that I really wish I'd have taken the time to read) he will post a very defensive response here as well. Please just don't take a job you don't have the required expertise to complete, and I don't want to hear defensive excuses when I'm still out $200 for almost no work completed.

We didn't request this at all, and if they had intended to do it, they did not consult with us first but they simply did it. No company that we've ever contracted with ever simply unilaterally started doing things on their own without first notifying the homeowner of what they were going to do before they did it even if there were a contract or anything the homeowner was consulted first of what was going to be done first before the work started. The workers just literally took it on it on themselves, as if they live here , and start chopping ...extremely disappointed and extremely disturbing. Upon complaining to the manager, the manager came out to our home , very belligerent, refused to listen and said it was nothing wrong. We asked him to leave our property. He would not and we had to called law-enforcement to have him removed from my property . We do not want anything further to do with this company and we cancelled our contract forthwith .
