They were done with our duct cleaning in about 2 hours. I requested an additional, same-day service and they were able to accommodate our dryer vent cleaning at the same time. Brice and TJ did a good job for my dryer vent cleaning. They are professional and thorough. My condo is on the 3rd floor which requires high ladder, and they are one of the few that can do it. They arrived on time with the EST they gave me. They were wearing shoe covers inside my home and took them out when they needed to step outside or even just the balcony, which I appreciate a lot! They cleaned from both inside and outside, they discovered and cleaned a bird nest inside the dryer vent! I definitely recommend them to anyone for dryer vent cleaning. RES has been superior. There was the initial point of sale and we were extremely happy with the response time for the installation and quality of the systems we purchased. In addition, they were the best value in NOVA. RES was quick, on time, and thorough for our install. It was only later that we realized there was a minor challenge in the thermostat "smart" function from the manufacturer that had nothing to do with RES. The systems were operational, but just not able to connect to our devices remotely. Regardless, RES took the time and effort to continuously work solutions to ensure our systems were operational and working as advertised. This was even though the manufacturer kept pushing back. RES could have done the same, but Tra and his Team worked tirelessly and without issue to correct our challenge on their own time and pocket. When we asked them for a solution to our problem and told them that we were unhappy, they told us they didn't have a solution to our problem and to take our business elsewhere. CONGRATULATIONS to RES for being smart enough to employ a technician as experienced, knowledgeable and pleasant as technician MAGED! I decided to call RES after thoroughly evaluating competitors, and it wasn't ONLY its 500 5-STAR ratings on YELP(!), but also its lowest price for a maintenance call compared with competing companies that prompted my decision. Technician Maged called in advance of the day scheduled, arrived on-time, wore foot protection (which he had to repeatedly put-on and take-off), and he took the time to explain precisely what was happening with my elderly HVAC system and WHAT he was doing AS he was doing it. MOST IMPORTANTLY--he could have tried to "upsell" me; but to the contrary, he explained to me the history of my units and how my idea of investing MORE money into them at this time wouldn't be advantageous. Maged is an excellent reflection on RES, and experiencing his exceptional, honest service bolstered my confidence in my decision to call RES. Just want to make everyone aware that they do not offer free consultations/quotes like other reliable companies in the region. This year was the 3rd year I asked the company to perform annual HVAC maintenance and cleaning for my unit. Upon arrival, the technician said the work requested cannot be done because the cooling of my AC is not working, but he said he can diagnose and measure my current AC and provide me a quote for replacement. It costs me $119 in the end, same price to the original cleaning and maintenance work I requested and it's not done. I received only a quote that cost me $119...hmmm? If anyone is looking to replace the AC, don't waste your money on this one. I've got three quotes from other companies in the same region, it is possible to get FREE consultation and valuable and reliable quotes. Replying to owner's comments: so there is free quote option, then why I am not offered for this option at all during technician's visit? For a professional technician, isn't it too obvious to you to give truthful professional opinion that my machine is just too old and replacement is the only way that works? During last two year's annual cleaning services, I got honest comments that the machine is going towards end of the life and your technicians mentioned the company can provide me quote, no one mentioned about diagnostics. This year the machine is not working, so cleaning services cannot be done. But your staff is there already so they need to earn the money so the visit is not wasted, therefore only options during the visit to me is to pay for a $119 diagnostics and not provide me free quote services? I sent a message to RES Heating & AC on a Friday to see if they could clean out a clogged dryer vent. I received an immediate response letting me know that they could have 2 technicians at my house on Monday. They also provided details of charges for service visits and a preliminary estimate. Brice and TJ arrived promptly at the appointed time and they were kind enough to take a look at our second dryer downstairs as well. Both dryer vents were full of lint and Brice and TJ were able to vacuum out the entire line from the dryers to the exterior of the house (Brice also found a birds nest in one vent). The entire visit took less than an hour and both Brice and TJ were extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous. They took care to wear booties in the house to prevent tracking dirt inside and Brice also washed off the siding which had become a little stained from all the soiled lint. Brice gave me a discount for the two concurrent services, and RES also has coupons available on their website so I got an extra $20 off. There is a separate charge if the technicians have to use a 10, 20, or 30 foot ladder to reach the dryer vent (Brice had to use the 20 foot ladder to reach mine) but that was clearly spelled out in the preliminary estimate given to me on Friday. I am very happy with RES and both of my dryers are working great now and don't require 2-3 cycles of extra time to fully dry a load! I will definitely use RES again in the future for all of my dryer vent cleaning and heating/AC needs! read more

Have been using RES for annual HVAC inspection for 3 years now. They are very easy to schedule on Yelp. More importantly their technicians are highly professional and efficient. I remember one time the technician pointed out that my indoor unit might be very dirty inside during the annual inspection and he went above and beyond to took it apart to see it. It did turn out to be very dirty covered with mold. I then approved him to perform a wash. After that, my intermittent rash/hive on skin never came back. All in all, highly recommend RES! read more

So here's why I'm happy with this company: - Everyone was courteous and very professional, from the lady who answered the phone to the technicians who did the troubleshooting and the install. - Punctual. Everyone showed up at the beginning of their time windows with texts and phone calls before arrival. I took a day off with another HVAC company who showed up 1.5 hours after their time window, as I was headed out with my family for dinner. - Answered all my questions. I had a lot of technical questions and all questions were answered without talking down. - Great work. These guys installed a better P-trap with a clean-out port, replaced copper line insulation, and re-wrapped the outdoor electrical lines.
