He checked to see if they needed a new battery and then changed the old battery for a new one all with a smile on his face . I have known these guys for years, and they really are a great family business. They are great to talk to, and realistic with what your vehicle needs, vs. trying to make a sales quota. They have done work on my cars since I could drive, and honestly, I wouldn't trust anyone else with some of the major decisions and work on my cars. They are great with communication, and I often speak to the mechanic, and not a desk clerk that has no idea what they are talking about, like at most corporate repair shops. Called on a Thursday about a trailer inspection. They said to bring it in on Monday morning, no appointment needed. They open at 8. I'm there at 8 but manager doesn't show up to open until 20 after. He then informs me that they are booked until Thursday. Wasted my time driving all the way out there. Offered no solutions or apologies. Very unprofessional. Will not consider going to them again and will tell everyone I know to avoid. read more

We have been using this company for years to service our trucks. The service has completely died. The owners are too old and too slow, they cannot produce estimates for weeks on end. They do not produce bills upon request, and during the wait time, they charge you storage fees upon work that isn't completed. Mark is a complete jerk, he treats customers as if they are dogs. I recommend bringing your business elsewhere. i for one will never return, and my fleet of 8 trucks will be serviced elsewhere. read more

Had the car serviced here and the work was done quickly. The people are nice and informative. They treat you fair and you don't feel like you were ripped off. The only thing that's a negative is that it's kinda a hike to get to but it's worth it. I would go back to have any repairs done in the future. read more

Best automotive repair in the area. I drive all the way out here from Germantown. Why? Because they have excellent customer service and get things done right. They communicate very well with customers and make sure we're always in the loop with what is going on. The mechanics are incredibly good. Mr. Liu, has been servicing our car for years and does a great job. The front office staff is friendly and courteous. They also get work done in a timely enough manner and have a night drop service available as well which is helpful. They won't rip you off and offer reasonable rates for services offered. Do NOT bring your car to Miller Automotive. We brought our car in for basic maintenance (replace serpentine belt) and they managed to displace the timing belt and shred the engine... and charged us $650 for the return of our car on a repair that--upon their admission--was 100% their fault. Carl Miller Jr. is difficult to communicate with, interrupts, talks over you, and dominates the conversation. This should have been a cheap, quick serpentine belt replacement for us. It took more than two weeks and cost us $650. In addition to the frustration of getting the repair and arguing over who would pay what (with lots of insinuation that it was our responsibility to pay for the engine they broke), we received conflicting explanations from Marc and Carl Miller over what happened to the engine in the first place. At any point in this repair I would've been happy with clear, specific explanation and a clear, specific plan forward. Instead it was phone tag, vague explanation, delays, and--in the end--expense, headache, and wasted time. A few specific causes for concern: - We were told conflicting stories by Carl and Mark Miller about what happened to the car. (One told us they accidentally bumped the timing belt and then started the car, the other told us "they ever touched the timing belt" but then he refused to offer an explanation for what happened to the car. I asked four times for an explanation and was told that he is a "very busy man and needs to get off the phone.") - We were told that they didn't want to go through insurance because they said insurance wouldn't get us a good repair. (But going through insurance also would've hurt their rate and wouldn't have gotten them any of our money.) - We were told they would pay for the rental car. Instead, we were greeted with a sit-down bargaining session at the end of the repair. If your car is already at Miller Automotive, get EVERYTHING in writing. (I tried--they did everything they could to avoid putting their promises on paper.) If you have any option at all, DO NOT GO to Miller Automotive. read more
