I brought a 2023 Silverado in because there was a smell of coolant present when the vehicle was hot. I explained that the water pump had been previously replaced and there could be an issue. Miller pressure tested the coolant system and found no leaks, the response I received was that its quite normal for vehicles to smell like coolant when hot? Its not, Chevy is just producing vehicles with issues and the shops don't have time to address warranty repairs that don't make them money. read more

They got an identical one in for us from another dealer and wanted us to pay more for upgraded floor mats which I refused and they agreed to. On Friday (3/27), My and my Brother drove an hour (one way) to look at a used car. So after arriving, we started the car and began the basic inspection... All they want is your money. The service department comes off as very nice and that they're going to help you. I brought my car in for an oil change and to check why the service engine light was on. They told me that they would fix anything included in recalls and/or the power train warranty and they would call me to ask about any repairs outside of that. The next day they called and told me my car needed $500 worth of repairs. When I asked for a break down, they claimed it was all electrical issues so it wasn't covered, but they were still going to charge me for the $130 diagnostic fee. Which was not mentioned when I dropped my car off, only the oil change price. I declined the $500 service, since that is literally two months of car payments! They were rude when I asked about the diagnostic fee so I ended up paying $175 for an oil change and leaving with a still broken car. I bought my car brand new in 2012 and have kept up with all maintenance and repairs. There should be no issues with the car. I purchased it at Gilleland Chevrolet in St Cloud but went to Miller because it was closer to home. Gilleland has always made sure I was not charged for anything that was not my fault. I only took a moment of your salesperson's time, ask him, I was extremely easy to deal with. I called and tried to rectify this situation and Chad told me that it was only a few extra hundred dollars you were taking from me. BUT you got the sale of the car I bought and I gave you my trade in! We could have continued to do that every 3 years for the next 30 years if you had just treated me honestly. I didn't negotiate at all on the car I was buying, I came in with perfect credit, I gave you a 2010 Impala with only 88,000 miles on it that was truly driven by a little old lady. Why in the world would you have not rewritten the loan the way it was supposed to be and kept me as a customer for life? You may think I'm old, but I have 87 and 90 year old parents who are still driving. You could have had my business for the next 30 years, plus my kids and grandkids and my friend's business too. Why would you want to start this whole war with someone who did nothing but try to buy a car from you? If you would like to rectify this situation and make things right, I would love to discuss it with you, Jeremy has my number. You could still turn this all around and make a great customer if you just do the right thing. I don't want to carry this on any further, but I will go to the Attorney General, distribute flyers with the story of what happened to me, and peaceful protesting on publicly owned land around your store for months and maybe years to come. There is a reason this business has a 1 star rating, and it should probably be lower. I had a throttle sensor replaced, and when I got the car back - the seat was all the way down and made a loud whirring sound when moved back in place along the track. They took it back again and couldn't find out was causing it. The service rep Nick and manager Brandon tried to tell me it wasn't their problem. The service rep looked me straight in the face and tried to tell me "the tech said it made that sound initially when reversing the seat" - which it surely did not. The manager said "there's no way we could know if it wasn't already like that," but that they'd be happppy to quote me a "good price" on the diagnosis and repair...of the problem they caused. These people are truly scum bags. Do not take your car here unless you want it in worse shape than beforehand. Brought truck to normal mechanic and within 5 minutes he found a notice that was sent out about this specific issue. UPDATE: People--there is a reason this dealership gets such low ratings. Believe them. I thought the car I purchased handled poorly on wet roads [and especially poorly on snow-covered roads]. When I brought it in to check on getting new tires, I was told that the car had "CALIFORNIA TIRES" on it! I find it hard to believe the dealership wouldn't know this--they obviously didn't care. This is not only shady, it is downright DANGEROUS to sell someone a tiny car with what amounts to bald tires to drive in the Minnesota winters. Despicable. -I recall seeing in their Carfax report that the vehicle was originally purchased in CA, but never would have thought to look into having Minnesota-worthy tires. I walked into Miller Chevrolet on Monday interested in purchasing a new vehicle and didn't see any social distancing. Looked like business as usual to me. I saw a salesman at a small table sitting 2 feet from a customer. I guess selling vehicles is far more important to them than customer's safety. I then went to the Luther Chevrolet website that states they have no contact sales and service for the time being. I purchased a brand new Equinox from Luther Chevrolet because they earned my business. Miller Chevrolet looks like a joke because they are not taking this virus thing seriously. I purchased a new truck from Miller in October. They had what I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. Nice salesman(Ken). Finance guy tried to sell me a loan at a higher rate than what was available to me.(why I wonder....) Service department can't seem to install mud flaps that I purchased....they're not made for a 1/2 ton truck. Quick youtube video shows otherwise. Looks pretty straight forward to me. I also purchased a hood deflector that they would be happy to install for $37 bucks, even though I have made 4 trips to Miller to get these mud flaps installed. Not exactly what I'd call good customer service. I purchase new vehicles every few years....and have purchased my one and only vehicle from Miller. Shop elsewhere! read more

Well, where to start ! I own 2 Chevrolet Silverado trucks and I have been taking all my work to Miller's from the beginning of the year, till as of yesterday and now I won't after what they did to my 2011 truck ( without permission) and then was SO RUDE. My truck has been in there twice in the last 3 weeks and I had to call them back about a noise on my truck after I just got it back when if they would of done there full job it may of been caught. However, the noise could of been multiple things but I thought it was the CV joint in the front right, but it was not ( as Miller's tech said ) it was a mud flap making the noise. Now, I told them to fix the noise problem and I need my truck done by 3pm ( as they had it scene 8am ) and if it won't be done to let me know before 3pm so I won't be late for my daughter's Game. So, all day NO CALLS from anyone at Miller's to update me as I had to keep calling them and then I was never told what was being done on the truck, asked do you want it fix? As I said fix the noise problem, but instead they fix a leak that I NEVER GAVE PERMISSION TO DO and then when I come in and find all this out Jon said to me , I don't understand why you are so upset and yelling. REALLY, SERIOUSLY $540.00 later that I didn't give permission for!!! Again, NEVER did ANYONE call me at work to ask if I wanted this done! My truck never had puddles underneath it and this is something that could of waited to be discussed and then brought back in to been done. Here's the thing men think because I am a female I don't know anything, well think again cause for 1. I use to own my own business that was an automotive shop, 2. Most of my friends are tech's. I'm in Sales now and you just don't do this to a customer and the manager not stepping up right away was really not good!! My truck was in no danger for this not to wait a little long and this was just a stunt to pull to charge a customer more money! By the, not asking to do work on a customer vehicle is against the law..... Found out 4 days before my vacation to go camping in the Black hills that the 7 pin trailer plug doesn't work. Again a brand new truck. They had it for 3 days giving me the run around about trying to make it right. Never did. I now have to cancel the trip because you can't tow a camper trailer 700 miles each way with no lights and no breaks. If you want a dealer that is going to take care of you go elsewhere. read more

Here's why when I shop for my next car - probably something American made - I won't be buying from Miller Chev. A friend of mine needed service (an oil change) last week. The friend was then told that they required over $1500 in repairs. Knowing a second opinion is recommended, they sought out the second opinion and was told they did not need any service. Good news for my friend who saved $1500+....but they almost trusted your advice and wasted a lot of money. I have waited 3 weeks to write this review, as I was very angry with the service I received. I had made my appointment 10 days ahead of time, so i could get it done on a Tuesday and pick it up on that evening after work. I waited all day for a call and never received one. I called at 5:55p.m. and left a message, which was not returned. After I had to call 3 times , 3 times I finally talked with Wade and would make sure Jesse called me to inform me what was happening with my vehicle. 2-3 hours later he left a message stating that my car was getting it's 3-M wrap done, that's why they couldn't find it to fix it.. The wrap had been put on 2 weeks prior to this appointment!!!! So after 4 phone calls on my end and none from the service department, I was pretty angry!! My car was finally done by 3:30p.m. on Thursday!! Luckily, I was provided a loaner car and was able to drive that. I was never called with an apology or explanation as to why it took so long. I'm sure it had something to do with it being warranty work and pushed back for "paying" customers. This is the first vehicle I purchased from Miller, not sure I'll be back due to this lack of communication and uncaring attitude. I, for sure, will most likely never have service done there. I only bring my car here cuz these guys are honest, friendly and go the extra mile for their customers . I've come in with my ideas on what I think needs to be repaired, and they tell me what really needs to be fixed . Often times way cheaper than expected . They aren't in the business to rip people off like many repair shops. Last week both my cars had issues one was completely stalled out, the other lost its heat. They worked me in their busy schedule and had me done in less than a week. I am now up and running. I can't thank these guys enough !! Dear Miller Chevrolet, I wanted to take some time out of my day to express how I feel about your dealership in Rogers, Minnesota. If you are looking to buy a vehicle from Miller Chevrolet and then pay $5200 in repairs within 60 days of purchase, this is the dealership that you should go with! I bought a 2009 GMC Yukon XL from Miller Chevrolet in November and in January these five things broke down on my vehicle. 1. The Transmission went out 2. The oil pressure sending unit and screen failed 3. The transmission cooler line was leaking 4. The oil pan gasket was leaking 5. The axle seal was leaking I spoke to a gentleman in service by the name of Nick Blattner, he was a very nice gentleman and definitely understood that this was a bad situation to be in. I dropped the vehicle off on a Thursday and he finally got back to me on a Monday to let me know exactly what was wrong with it and gave me an estimate of $5200 to get the whole vehicle fixed in proper working condition. I about had a heart attack when he gave me the proposed invoice. I told him that I would please need some consideration as I just purchased a vehicle within 60 days. He told me to reach out to a man named Todd Kunkle as he was a manager and could speak to me about potential help on the bill. I left Todd a message that Monday and didn't hear anything back for the next several days. So on Thursday one week from when I drop the vehicle off, I was looking online reading reviews and noticed the general manager's email on a Google review response. So I emailed Chad Omenn the general manager of the dealership and spoke with him about my concerns regarding the vehicle that they had sold me. He agreed that this was a tough pill to swallow and he was going to talk to Larry in the service department to see if they could help me out with the invoice. A few days later I get a call from Chad and he let me know that he could bring the invoice from $5200-$4800. I went ahead and called around and spoke to Kennedy transmission, they said they would be willing to do all of the repairs for $4100, with that said, I emailed the general manager Chad and told him that I would need him to come down lower on the bill. As outrageous as is sounds, Miller Chevrolet is trying to charge me $2000 in labor for everything. During this whole process, I was being very professional and nice considering how bad I was getting bent over by this dealership. I asked for Chad to be creative and presented a few options: 1. Take the vehicle back and let me get out of my loan which Wells Fargo said is a possibility. 2. Meet me halfway on the original invoice. 3. Charge me cost for the labor and parts since they already made money off of me for the initial sale of the vehicle. Chad turned around and emailed me saying that he would take an additional $500 off of the invoice which would bring it down to $4300. (Still $200 more than a competitor would be willing to charge) I had enough of their shenanigans and had my vehicle towed to another shop where I am getting all of the work done for $3500. In the end, I will never recommend anyone to work with these scumbags. They are a typical dealership that is money hungry and doesn't care about the end consumer or creating an effortless experience. read more

I called Miller and I must of been overlooked because they never went out for the cars tags. I was informed they will be sent ASAP. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had and in the end I paid them $100 to unplug a wire and fix a recall (if they even fixed it properly). They were rude to me and my girlfriend the whole time, communicated poorly and in the end my truck is still not fixed. I specifically told them my trailer lights were not working and they claimed they could not figure out what was wrong. I got my truck home, crawled under it with a simple voltage tester and found a bad wire. It seriously was as simple as that. I have gone to several Chevy dealers in the past and have never had this many issues. These employees that I dealt with lack the smallest amount of common sense. My suggestion, drive ten more miles down the road and get your vehicle fixed there. Don't stop at Miller Chevy, providing terrible customer service for over 50 years. read more

After we were ready to take our vechile home the salesman tells us our NEW truck was hit while they were backing it up from detailing it. I know accidents happen but the dealer did not go above and beyond to compensate for what had happened. Later I think about it and it really makes me mad.
