I called earlier in the day and they had a model that I was interested in so I thought I'd check it out. I got there and the place didn't seem all that busy, but I still had to stand around for about 15-20 minutes waiting for service before someone finally decided to help me. Another guy waiting before me gave up and left the store, so that helped shorten my wait a little! After talking to friends about this place, this seems to be quite common. Once I was finally helped the salesperson showed me two guns. Both guns were sold as new, but both had scuff marks on the sights. The sticker price was a bit high so I asked the salesperson what their best price was if I bought the gun now with cash. I thought he'd be willing to knock a little off since they were pricing theirs more than several competitors. The guy talked down to me explaining that their price already includes a discount and he couldn't afford to go any cheaper. To justify this he shows me a bogus MSRP and acts like he's giving me a good discount! At that point I thanked him and left the store without making a purchase. I got home and checked the manufacturer's website because I thought he was being phony. Sure enough, they did not discount the gun from the manufacturer's MSRP as I was told. He was actually selling it for $24 higher than the MSRP! Some disount that was! I had already seen the same gun in stock at Rajos in Evansville for $160 less. I ended up going there and they were able to show me several additional models. I made my purchase there. The next time I'm in the market for a gun I MIGHT try this place once more, but they need to be real to their customers and give them a fair price and good service.

I pushed the button and waited a few minutes and nobody came. Then I pushed it again and waited a few more minutes and still, no one came. So then I asked an employee for assistance and she said she'd get someone for me, I told her thank you and I waited 10 minutes. Within those 10 minutes 3 employees passed me and saw me waiting and no one assisted me or asked if I needed them to get someone. I didn't have time to wait all day so I just left. Maybe target works a certain way and someone specific has to open the changing room doors but it is just insane to me that every time I've needed to try something on, there has been no one to unlock the doors. They need to do better. Aside from that, the employees need to be more friendly in general I feel like I'm talking to a robot every time I need help like nobody speaks.

They have an amazing selection of architectural savage so if you are looking for doors or cast iron sinks and things like that, these guys have it and much more and prices are killer. For a guy who loves crusty pieces with character that I can repurpose into something else, this is a goldmine. I found this place while in the area on business and one piece in particular caught my eye. A big old hand riveted tank. Sucker weights over 1000lbs. None of knew exactly what it was but that's just part of the fun right? Bought it on the spot after talking to the folks and owners who if you look up Uber Cool in the dictionary, their pics come up. They loaded that beast up and I drove 350 miles back to the KC area. Come to find out it's an old pressure tank that was made by Kewanee Boiler between 1905-1920. Now where can you find neat shit like that I ask you? Salvage Candy is where. I'm already planning a return visit as these folks rock and their selection and prices are to die for.
