Well, I actually went out there to see the new store and possibly apply for a part time job. I went back to gun counter and struck up a conversation with a gentle man. I think there was 5 of us back there for 20 to 30 minutes(no employee in sight). One guy got frustrated and left and me and the gentleman i was chatting with left. The other couple I'm not sure if they left or not, if I was them I would have. As for the job search, I think you have too many $9.00 an hour people with no interest in Dunhams already. Maybe you should start at the top in this store and re-evaluate your people. I dont think I'd fit in, my interest would definitely collide with what you have now. This is the worst store I've ever been in for sporting goods! There is never anyone at the gun counter. When you ask someone to call someone back, it takes forever for them to show up! Then, when I get an email on "Flash sales" they never have any of what they advertise! Then they act like they don't care if you ever come back. I think I'm done dealing with such terrible customer service. They are higher than anybody around anyway. read more

We had such a great experience at the Bowling Green location. We were from out of town and had been to multiple locations looking for a specific kayak for a couple days. They were extremely helpful and had such great customer service. We spoke with a female associate and a male manager who were both amazing although I regret not getting their names. It was refreshing being taken care of by them after we had spoken with several other locations that were either extremely dismissive or rude due to the "kayak hype" of COVID/quarantine. read more
