I thoroughly enjoy that they offered to watch your windows. They have been doing this since the 60s I believe the gentleman named Cevin said. I am sure that over the years it has not been as appreciated as it is now. Not only because of the virus but to take an extra step and customer service is remarkable. It really made my day and my drive much easier being able to see out the front and the back window. I especially appreciate that I did not have to sanitize my hands after washing my windows because I did not have to do it. Thank you so much for hiring such nice and charismatic people. It really made my stop on my drive Memorable. In all honesty I will be looking into this area as an option to move to if this is how nice people are. I've had several positive experiences with this shop but after yesterday visit I wanted to make sure to leave a review so others could feel confident going here. I'm selling my truck and needed a smog. Craig (one of the mechanics) helped fit me in during the day and when it turned out I had replaced by battery recently he gave me the detailed info needed to drive the truck and get it ready. Superb feedback. As usual the very friendly owner was in. When I returned later in the evening they squeezed me back in allowing me to finish my smog for the sale of the truck. Really appreciate them doing this so late in the day. Each time I've gone here I've felt well taken care of and trust the recommendations they have made. I've also been very pleased with the cost of repairs. If you are considering giving them a try I highly recommend you do. read more

I have never written a review before, but had to express my gratitude and thanks for the absolutely friendliest service anywhere! because of said service, I decided to tow my wife's car there for repairs even though I live 15 miles away. But, I work across the street as the Wellness Manager at California Fresh, so this way I could handle the logistics of the vehicle easily. There is a top rated repair shop walking distance from my house, but this was a great decision that I don't regret! The estimate, repairs, and repair time was top notch. What makes this station stand out is the customer service. As mentioned in other reviews, they wash your windows at no charge! Also, several years back, they used to give out flowers to customers. They take good care of the pumps by changing the filters regularly which is why the gas flows through quickly and you are not left standing there longer than needed. Highly recommend! read more

Love this gas station! They have propane, mechanics, no b/s, as well as McDonalds, Peets, Calif. Fresh Market & shopping across the street if you need it, while they work on your car. Sadly, this once hallowed place of friendly, quick, reliable service has declined since Kevin left. Be sure to ask your questions and not let John at the counter rush you through the line because he's frustrated by having to answer the nonstop ringing phone. They are way too busy for good customer service and the quality of the work is suffering for it. Their poor mechanics must be constantly be working in overdrive. A victim of their own success? Maybe it's time to ease up on the rush, rush business model of trying to get as many customers as possible accommodated as quickly  as possible? ****CAUTION**** I've been a customer of Miller's 76 5 Cities for over 12 yrs. They were they my ONLY Mechanic I trusted with my vehicles including my fleet vehicles, I recommended them to all my Family, Friends, and Colleagues. Always trusted them. Well, they recently sold and under new management and workers(excluding Lennie) aren't trust worthy. In fact, I watched them Inspect my truck and tell me I need a air filter, but never looked at it. Took my car in to have a Wheel Bearing replaced and was told I needed a Rear End and not a wheel bearing, I insisted the bearing be replaced and hence it corrected the noise and problem, But then there was a grinding noise when I left. Took it to a rear end shop to find out the rear end was fine but when they changed the Wheel Bearing they didn't put the ebrake back together correctly and had bent the backer plate causing it to move and scrape the rotor. Took it back to them to correct and they tried to say it wasn't there fault and tried to charge me $80.00 to correct their mistake. When I told them the ebrake wasn't grinding before the work was done, but was after the work was done and it was extremely likely it was bent when pulling the bearing, the employee got mad and had a attitude. While there, I witnessed them charge a elderly lady 4 times the amount they quoted her. Owning up to mistakes goes along way with me....and all this did was causing them to lose a long time customer, that will tell Family, Friends, and Collogues to avoid them at all cost! I love the Miller's Union 76 Gas Station in Pismo Beach. Erik is a fabulous manager. He is professional, friendly, knowledgable and gives great service. Dan has helped me at the pump numerous times. Sweet Ray has bailed me out of two flat tire situations late at night. It is a pleasure to drive in there for help. I have been using Millers Union 76 for 25 years for all my vehicles. They have been my "go to" service station and have saved me many times. I was surprised to find that Kevin sold the business and sad that John and the others were gone, and wondering how the ew owners would be. Well, my car"s check engine light came on while I was just 5 miles from the shop, that's a sign! Erik, the service advisor was just as friendly, knowledgable, and a pleasure to work with as John was. Sure enough, the service is still excellent. I was able to schedule that day, and Erik explained in detail (calmly and clearly), what was to be done. Craig the mechanic rose to the occasion (found and fixed) something no charge, and he also diagnosed another problem (that was already on my list). The price was very reasonable. Honestly the least expensive and fastest oil change anywhere on the Central Coast These folks have been in that location forever and I've lived in this area for over 40 yrs Super nice people and usu are packed so appts for oil changes are hard to come by. However in these times with the stay at home orders they're able to get people in quickly. This is the place to go for minor automotive repairs and oil changes. You won't get any baloney and someone trying to sell you more services/products than you need. Bonus: Peet's Coffee /Tea place, as well as McDonalds , are less than a block away, as is the outlet mall. CA Fresh grocery store is right across the street and so is Starbucks - a pleasant way to spend your wait while they work on your car. What's not to love read more

The service at this shop is second to none. I get propane from this 76 every couple of months for our camping trailer. The employees are super friendly and always go out of their way to help you out. Last time I went to get propane, they pointed out that the tank I was using was way out of date and they recertified it (for a small fee) so that I could fill it up then. Thank you! read more

We spent $100 dollars on gas and went to the air and water section to buy water for our RV tank. We were only going to fill up half. Anyway a RUDE employee said the water was at the pumps. We started filling up water and he yells at us saying we can't do that. I talked to the owner telling him we are willing to pay for the water not to mention we just put gas, and he said no water is too expensive. Like hello I'm going to pay you plus it's Only a few gallons. Either way they treated us like we are trying to steal water. Avoid this place!! They're all rude! read more

My Tire Pressure Maintenance System warning light came on during a 260-mile drive from Stockton to Pismo Beach. The man at the 76 station put air in my tires to the correct pressure for free. He said they pride themselves on being a SERVICE station, not just a gas station. When I've gotten gas there before, they offer to pump the gas and always wash the windshield, too. This is the best service station around and I always fill up there when I visit Pismo Beach. The attendants there are always friendly and helpful. read more
