Overall, wasn't a super great experience. Mainly because of the lack of attentive service from our server. Our food also took a while coming from the kitchen... It didn't seem very busy in the restaurant, so I'm not sure why our food took longer than I would say it normally comes out. Our server seemed to be more attentive to the table of young ladies next to us then he was with me and my friends. He only stopped by our table one time to check on us. We had to ask for refills. This was definitely not a great service experience at alehouse. We usually have a pretty decent experience when we go however, today was not one of those times. read more

I have to say I like Millers Ale house chain. This is a place that at last second you need to find a place for 16 people for dinner and they always come through. With a kid on a Sports Travel team it is always great to eat as a group no mater were you are in Florida. They never mind breaking the check down parent and child. We usually will come to Miller's for a chill evening, especially when craving some Zingers. We were instantly seated and greeted, ordering some margaritas to start. When they came out, I unfortunately didn't grab ahold of my drink properly and some had spilled on our table. Our server rushed away from the table, and we assumed we'd get a replacement despite only a few sips being spilled due to her urgency, but we wouldn't see her for maybe 15-20 minutes. She did apologize, however no replacement came. It wasn't enough to fuss about, so we ordered our food anyway. I ordered my go to: a Medium Zinger Mountain Melt. Another 40 minutes went by before I saw it, but our server did apologize for the kitchen being backed up. When it did come, it was just as expected. While it wasn't my favorite experience for dinner, I still left satisfied with the taste of my meal! The restaurant didn't seem that busy, but you never know what's going down in the kitchen. I visited Miller's Ale House with some coworkers and we had a very good experience. The service was very good , the food was excellent, and the prices were fair. I personally ate the fillet mignon, cilantro lime rice, and a house salad. But we were a large group and I was able to see, snell, and ask if other players were also was goooood. So, here goes: everything ordered ranged from "good" to "excellent!" Baby back ribs, burger, fries, shrimp and lobster pasta, margaritas, etc. Even the desert was good! My new go to dish at ale house is the Rice bowl ! It's packed with great flavor and protein. Remind me of a better chipotle bowl. Served over lime rice , comes with pickled onions, corn, lettuce , grilled shrimp and chicken , and topped with a delicious sauce. It's 5 stars and my new go to for sure. Came here for lunch on Tuesday. We were greeted immediately by the nicest hostess and seated right away too. We sat down at a booth and our waitress came up to our table to take our drink order. I ordered a diet coke, which is not uncommon for me. It was really crisp and delicious. For lunch, I ordered the blackened mahi sandwich with french fries. When I tell you that this was absolutely delicious, I'm not joking. I will definitely be ordering this at future Miller's ale houses because it was the biggest piece of mahi that I've gotten at a restaurant in a long time. I love when french fries are served with a slight pinch of pepper, too, which these were. Our waitress was so kind. She even offered to provide us to go cups for our diet coke. We visited millers on a Sunday night, and Adri helped us out. She was super nice and accommodating for our 7 person party. She said she was new, but she still knocked it out of the park. We started with some mozzarella sticks which were nice and warm when they came out. I got the zingers Mac which was really tasty. I also got a Moscow mule which was . . . Not good, but I think the ginger beer might've been flat because it was just really off. We had a great time though, and being so close to the theater I'm sure we'll be back. read more

The food was bland and overcooked, but that's not even the worst of it. On a vacation to see our kids, we went with them at noon specifically so we could watch the Orlando Magic game, and requested it on a TV near our table. At 1:00, in the middle of the game, all TVs in the place turned to football. We asked to turn it back and we're told absolutely not. Asked for a manager. She was snippy, dismissive, rude, claimed "We've done it this way for 36 years," with no apology or empathy, and said the reason there were so many TVs tuned to the Dolphins was "It's a local team." Really? And a team from 12 miles down the road in ORLANDO isn't??? (Miami is more than 3 hours from that restaurant.) For the record, we specifically asked to watch the basketball game. At no time did the greeter of server we asked say anything about the switch that would obviously happen before the end of the game. Our son is a big Magic fan and asked to go there because we could watch the game while we ate. Huge disappointment at the entire situation. If I could give zero stars I would. If you look at my reviews I'm always fair and will consider the food, service, and ambiance in my reviews. To me I think Millers earned the rating as I had no issue really with the service. The food I got was delicious and I will be back for it again. I only had a water and my bill was about $20. I did not go inside and instead ate at the bar. My rating is because I never once got my water refilled which is understandable. It was a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't that packed but those ordering drinks received better service. I'll go back and allow them to earn the full 5 star rating, but I will def be back here. Looking forward to the return. read more

Not that spicy considering they were jalapenos, but delicious. Greasy and best consumed with a fork to keep my fingers from getting all covered in bits, and then dip in the tangy sauce. For main, I had the Cobb salad with shrimp and chicken. Mostly the right ingredients for a Cobb (shredded cheddar and jack cheese?) laid out and looking really pretty. Sliced hard boiled egg, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, tomato and on top of a spring mix. All it needed was the avocado but still, it was tasty and I enjoyed it. The only thing they need is a few tables with power outlets. I'd have stayed longer but my laptop ran out of power and I had to head onwards. I mean, it's not the best anymore. It was the place to go for years but the food and service is just going downhill. We always get the zinger mountain melt and some kids meals. Kids got their meals but one meal came after the kids already ate their ice cream. Had to ask for it to be packed up, which took forever and decided to ask for it to just be taken off. I ordered the steak and shrimp with sides of a loaded potatoes and a ceasar salad. I should've requested the salad before the meal but I didn't think of it. Everything was good except my steak was rare rather than medium which I asked for. Once I said something they immediately took the steak and cooked it to medium. I came in at 9:00pm on a Friday night, with a group of 8 and was seated immediately by the hostess while it was very busy. It did take the waitress about 5 minutes to get our drinks but that was to be expected as it was very very busy. I honestly was very surprised at how pricey their menu was for a chain restaurant. 6 tenders with no fries was $13.99. The tenders didn't have any seasoning, they do come with sauce that you can select but either way I think they really needed some seasoning for the breading. I wouldn't plan on going back simply because there's so many better places to eat that are much cheaper for example the Porch at Winter Park. The service was good and the establishment was fine it's just pricey for no reason and the food is very sub par. read more

I came here with a large group for work. We had called ahead so they were ready for us when we got there. I have been to other locations so knew what to expect from the menu. I got my favorite the zinger salad. At every location I have received a consistent product that I enjoy. The chicken is crispy but still juicy. One of my peers had the Osso Buca and said it was delicious- even scraped the marrow out. We were 38 people and the waitress did a great job of ensuring she came by to ask for refills. Ale House has always been in our rotation because the mountain melt is enough to share between 2-3 people for a full meal. They also have really good kids meals that our kids love. We went here last night and the food was great however there was a mix up where they completely missed one of the meals. The manager came over and apologized after about 15 minutes of everyone receiving their food. He told us it would be 7 more minutes. After 15 we asked again about and told them it's been 45 minutes since we ordered the sandwich. To top it off he was annoyed at us for asking to have it taken off the bill because all 9 other people were finished eating and took it to go. I'm a regular at this bar. I don't understand why the bathrooms are not being cleaned. They smell disgusting and have been like this for 2 weeks. Everyone is complaining and of the stench. As a professional manager, I would not allow this. Just told the manager and he blamed it on the cleaning crew and doesn't care.
