Grrrr...I have a love-hate relationship with Alehouse. While I love to come here, especially with friends, I find all Alehouses to simply be inconsistent! Although my most recent visit was one of the better ones. I had just driven back from West Palm Beach and dropped off my rental car, my wife picked me up, and we were both hungry, but it was nearly 9 PM. I checked Google Maps and saw that the Alehosue was open until 11, so we decided to go there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We arrived, and it was fairly busy for a Wednesday night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were seated in a booth and our server quickly came and we ordered drinks. Both of us ordered Bacon Cheeseburgers, we chatted with our server and she was awesome. The burgers came quickly, and they were perfect- medium rare and tasty. I love to come here and watch sports as well, I have just found that the food can be inconsistent, but I do absolutely love the Chicken Nachos! Very disappointed with the continued inconsistent service and food quality at Miller's Ale House. We are regular customers and have supported this location since they opened but service here has gone downhill. The food quality has become hit or miss, and very inconsistent. Concerns are often dismissed instead of properly addressed. Our experiences involving the bar manager Mark who I can only assume is over the kitchen as well have only added to our frustrations. Mark seems to have policies in place on his shift that goes against every other manager's policies. I have ordered Cobb salads numerous times before, on Mark's watch I got shreds of chicken breast and was told it was a half... tell that to someone who doesn't eat here often, not a regular. We understand business can get busy, but repeated poor experiences are unacceptable when you consistently support a business. Hoping management takes customer concerns more seriously moving forward. read more

The service at this location was great! Our server Bre was awesome. Very attentive and fun to interact with. We had an appetizer spread tonight. Mozzarella sticks, nachos, and boom boom shrimp. Man those nachos... wow they were good! Good flavor. Wish the cheese was layered better. But that's my only note on those. The Mozzarella sticks... you can NEVER go wrong with those... Family lunch with my in-laws and hubby. I love coming to this location because the staff are always so friendly and kind. The restaurant is always clean and not so loud. The food always come out perfect temp with amazing flavors. During this visit I ordered the Cilantro Lime Chicken; Grilled chicken breast, cilantro lime glaze, black bean corn salsa, pico de gallo, queso fresco cheese. Served with vegetable medley and cilantro. It was delicious and the chicken was blackened to perfection and juicy. I ate everything on my plate in a blink of an eye. See you guys soon. read more

Stopped by a couple of months ago for a weekend lunch with a friend and we had a good experience. We were greeted by the hostess and asked if we wanted to dine inside or outside. I always ask to hold the blue cheese and substitute ranch, and I made sure to emphasize that when placing my takeout order. Unfortunately, this time they didn't include any dressing at all. No ranch, no backup--just a dry salad. I didn't realize until I got home, and without dressing on hand, I had to throw the whole thing away. Really disappointing, especially since I made the request clear. Also, while I parked in the designated to-go spots, I was told I had to come inside to pick up the food. I understand staffing challenges, so that wasn't a big deal, but the wait inside was longer than expected, which added to the frustration. For an $18 salad I couldn't eat, it was a waste. I've had great dine-in experiences here before, so I'm hoping this was just a one-off. We have been to this Ale House several times since they opened. First and foremost, in my opinion-it is a bar. They basically have bar food with a couple of outliers on the menu (osso buco). Any time I have ventured away from the traditional bar food (large pretzel, chicken tenders) I have been largely unimpressed. WELL.. I was (kinda) wrong! We sat in the bar this time. Not only did my husband say that his chicken fajitas were delicious, we had better service in the bar than any time we have sat in the restaurant. The two bartenders were tag teaming tables and bar patrons so we had a male and female server helping us. I cannot remember the name of the male, but he was so personable and was spot on for drink recommendations and the female was so efficient and friendly. We had a great experience. I will still stick with my chicken zingers because I know it's good, and my husband will stick to the chicken fajitas, but will ask to sit in the bar from now on! Give it a shot! read more

First week of opening for this location. It's packed of course because it's new , it's Saturday and hello it's football season. Service seems ok but when i ordered my usual wings sauce combo , the waitress came back to say the kitchen couldn't do it. I explained they can bc I have ordered this sauce combo in 4 other locations in orlando and winter park recently and have never heard that . If you're looking for a place where you can eat for free and walk out with a gift card, this is the spot! (10/10) I was visiting Miller's in Apopka with a few friends and watched a group of ladies openly plan how they were going to complain to management so they wouldn't have to pay. Mind you, their waitress was attentive, polite, and doing a great job. None of that mattered. They complained about everything anyway. This isn't a one-time thing either -- I've seen this happen multiple times at this location, and it's always the same outcome. Manager Leon came over, listened to the complaints, comped their entire meal, and then--just to top it off--gave them a gift card to come back again. So with Valentine's Day coming up and money being tight, here's a tip: take your date to Miller's in Apopka, complain about literally anything, and enjoy a free meal plus a return gift card. Rinse and repeat. Just one request--take care of your waitress. Because while management is busy handing out free food and gift cards, I doubt they're helping servers pay their bills. The fairly new Ale House in Apopka is definitely worth visiting and enjoying a meal. We were a party of seven. They also put buffalo sauce on the zingers which is not at all what I wanted . It was cold and just yuck. My husband and I were excited to see that we were getting an Ale House in Apopka, so we wanted to wait a little bit for the hype to cool down before visiting. We decided to stop in this past Wednesday for lunch, and it was busy. The location was clean, has lots of parking, and we were seated quickly. Our food did take a little while to arrive, but we weren't in any rush and it arrived hot and fresh. I started with a strawberry lemonade and my husband got a Coors. We split the medium zingers with ranch and the prime rib dip with fries. We got 6 zingers drenched in sauce with a large portion of house made ranch. They were the perfect blend of heat and creamy ranch. The prime dip was okay, but I think if it had grilled onions or something to amp up the flavor it would have been better. The fries were hot and crisp. We will be back to try some other dishes. Rating from F to A+++, I give it an A++. read more

I came into Miller's to enjoy a few drinks, and I was truly impressed by the bartender, Amanda. She was incredibly attentive, made sure I got everything I asked for, and maintained one of the friendliest attitudes I've seen in the service industry. Unfortunately, during my visit, I witnessed a situation where two guests at the bar were being rude and disrespectful toward Amanda. They were upset about the drink limit policy and unfairly accused her of being discriminatory, simply because she was following the rules and doing her job professionally. As a bartender myself in downtown Orlando, I completely understand the challenges of balancing great service with company policies. From everything I experienced, Amanda treated every guest equally--with respect, attentiveness, and a positive attitude. Sometimes it's not the staff who need an attitude check--it's the entitled guests who make their jobs harder. Amanda handled a tough situation with grace and professionalism, and she absolutely deserves to be recognized for it. Miller's is lucky to have her! read more

let me start off by saying i will never spend money at miller's again. me and my homie went straight to the bar, and amanda was our bartender. my homie orders a drink and wants to substitute the whiskey used. she tells him that specific drink wont allow a substitution without even looking at the menu. he points out on the menu where it says he can substitute, and she stands corrected. i order my old fashion and ask for a heineken. she then makes it seem like it's so difficult to hand me a beer and states that she needs to make other drinks before she can hand me a bottle of heineken (keep in mind, it also not crowded at all). she absolutely forgets to bring me my heineken as about 5-10 min go by. when i proceed to remind her that she forgot my drink she tells me with an attitude that she cannot give me 3 drinks at a time. while i am not doubting that to be true , instead of apologizing and saying she forgot my drink she made an excuse to cover for it. had i received my drink in time there would not have been 3 drinks and only 2. one of those drinks was a shot and quicky took those as i asked for my beer again. after further thought, i let her know to cancel the beer and bring the check because we obviously didn't feel welcomed. me and my homie are black. i can just about guarantee if we weren't this entire experience would gone differently....never again! and i'll make sure to tell everyone i can how unpleasant of an experience this was! amanda was an awful bartender! read more

Worst, slowest service I've ever received anywhere. The server is had did the bare minimum of her job while walking around just talking to her friends rather than taking care of her table. I felt like I was just sitting for hrs while she just stood around talking to her friends and the manager was doing the same so there was no one to even talk to about my complaints.
