I've been going to Miller's for over 5 years after a good friend recommended the place. I had just went to the dealership for some maintenance and was told I needed almost 2 grand in work done! Ted the owner checked out my car and gave me a second opinion which was no where near as much money or work the dealership quoted me. Miller's Auto Repair is the only place I'll take my vehicles for maintenance or repairs now. That car last me for several years after that and was still running great when I traded it in thanks to Miller's. I read the previous review left by Bill K. I'm not sure if he got the right place or what happened. I've never had that kind of experience at the Miller's I go to. Ted always keeps me updated on the status of my vehicle. He gets busy sometimes like any other business but has always got the job done for me when he said he would. I'd hate for that guy to be one of my customers. He doesn't have to many nice things to say about any of the places he's left a review for. He hasn't left any 5 star reviews and honestly comes across as an entitled @$$hole. I recently inherited an 98 Dodge Dakota from my father that sat for over 4 years without running. I towed it down on a U-HAUL from North Carolina and because of the reviews I read on Facebook, I brought it to Miller Auto. Let me tell you one thing, the reviews were all correct. He only fixed what needed fixing, he told me exactly how long it would take and kept me updated every step of the way. I am so happy I took the time to research local Mechanics and found Millers because it saved me a bundle and he got the old girl running like she just came from the dealership. I brought my grandaughers 2010 Civic to Miller's for a power steering pump issue. Millers took the car for a roadtest and realized quickly that the car had lots of other issues besides power steering. Miller gave me a complete overview of what the car needed to be a safe vehicle, what was essential now for safety reasons, and what issues could wait to be addressed. I gave them the go ahaed, they took the car one day later, and delivered the car totally repaired in the timeframe promised. My grandaugher is now driving a safe car, and she will be going back to Miller for oil changes etc. since now Miller knows the car. Another visit another 5 star review. Every time i review this place it never goes through. Yelp software blocks it for some reason. Anyways I came today for a sound coming from my wheel well. I went to Tires Plus first and i was quoted a price that made me faint. So i came to old reliable Millers. He said being the car is old and if i don't mind the sound it will be fine. thought I was going to pay over 1000 that quote I got from a national chain. I brought it to Millers Auto and was charged half of that. The other shop did not lie but the repairs were not necessary and Ted explained that. I never heard of a mechanic turning down more work and more money because it was not worth it for the customer. The jeep dealership ( darcars orange park) wanted to charge me 1600$ to replace my oil cooler. Millers charged me 682$ to replace it. Great service and it was finished the next day.
