Came in with my 2021 Tahoe (serpentine belt replacement). The staff had issues getting the new one on but were relentless in their efforts. While getting it on, a pulley was damaged. The manager informed me of the damaged pulley and replaced it at no additional cost. They did the job but at what cost?? The biggest complaint I have is that the tech who got in my car did not put down the paper to protect my carpet. I get back in my car and the carpet on the drivers side is filthy! Like crazy filthy. I was not happy about that. The other issues I have with this place is the lobby or waiting area leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe that's not a top priority for them but it's in need of some sprucing up. Lastly The tech did not instill much confidence in the job he did. He kept going back and forth and called some guy on the phone. Not such a big deal tho because if you need help doing it right by all means get some assistance. The techs were nice enough tho. read more

Let me begin by saying, I realize a lot of businesses are having a hard time retaining people. Service industries, where you're affecting people's lives and their property should ensure their training is solid. I took my vehicle to this store, and they did the oil change and talked me into the brake service, too. With the brake service they included a free tire rotation. When the service was done, the brakes felt a little squishy, so I had them double check, they said everything was OK. It was not (apparently there was still a lot of air in the lines). I left on a trip, and was several hours up the road when the brake light, and ABS/VSA warnings came on, AND, coincidentally I got a flat tire. I mention the tire, because when I went to change the tire to a spare, I realized the Jiffy Lube personnel did not put my tire-lug lock back, so I couldn't change the tire (on a Saturday night), so I was stuck, and had to get an extra night's Hotel room, and had a difficult time finding a tire store open on Sunday. Huge expense. Then, I drove back to home area, took it back to the Jiffy Lube, and they "reserviced it." After several hours, the young fellow had the honesty to admit he couldn't figure it out, so he sent me to a nearby store where there was a "Master mechanic." That store "reserviced" it three more times times, one of the mechanics actually stated to me the other store had done it improperly, there was a lot of air in the system, and there's air up in your ABS module. They kept the vehicle overnight (twice), and finally told me to come get it, that the ABS module was bad (and I was on my own). Clearly they did this, I spoke with the store manager, and their district manager, and they chose to not make it right. Also, the put paper on the floorboard, and plastic on the seat, but the center arm rest got destroyed in grease and grime, So, DO NOT get your brakes serviced at Jiffy Lube! read more

If there are friendlier more helpful people in Jacksonville, as a recent transplant from Denver, I can say that Chris and the team here go way out of their way to help you when you are in need. My oil pressure light was flashing on and off (2006 Volvo XC90)...a week ago Chris checked things, added oil and wouldn't let me pay a dime even though he added 2 quarts of oil...today, he doubled his efforts and changed the oil filter and gasket which were loose from an oil change in Denver...added oil and again no charge...I recently retired from Marriott Hotels after 35 years...Marriott has nothing on Jiffy Lube and Chris and his team...we both believe in 5 star service!!! I had my oil changed at another facility and noticed my car was leaking small amounts of oil on my garage floor. I took it to them to see if they could check it out for me. Without hesitation they went under my car and found out that my drain plug was loose. They tightened the plug, and cleaned up my drain cover. I have been a loyal and enthusiastic patron of Jiffy Lube at the Orange Park branch location (634 Blanding Blvd) for over fifteen years. When my serpentine belt needed to be changed, I naturally thought of them. They referred me to their sister store down the road because they had a special lift that would make things easier. I called *this* Jiffy Lube on a Wednesday and ordered the part for installation on Sunday. The man on the phone was very amicable and said it would be here and would only take around "20 minutes." I drove up Sunday and after speaking with the technician waited in the lobby. Thirty minutes went by and a technician entered and said, "I'm so sorry ma'm. Our delivery driver must have flaked out because he never delivered it to us. We'll go ahead and set your car back up together and try it again once it arrives. Please call us again BEFORE hand to make sure it's here before you come though." They dropped the ball. It happens. I wish they had told me thirty minutes PRIOR to taking my car apart but I still had the good reputation of Jiffy Lube on my mind. Five minutes later he enters again and says, "Oh! They've got one on their way! It should only be five more minutes!" Oh goodie! I got excited. 5 minutes pass and the Tech enters and says, "Alright Miss. We've got your car all set back up. Call again this week to make sure the serpentine belt is here and we'll see you next weekend." What? I thought---didn't he just say? Well, maybe I misunderstood him I thought. Forty minutes wasted but life goes on. LAST week I called and VERIFIED that INDEED the part was there. I told them to expect my car on Sunday. My husband arrived at Jiffy Lube on Sunday during which he heard a variety of, "We think we have it", "We're not sure if we have it" and "We definitely have it!" My husband was battered with this conflicting information for thirty minutes until the manager told him, OOPS! "We sold your part to someone else. BUT another one will be delivered in 15 minutes!" Did they LIE the entire time to stall about not having it? Are they really that unorganized and incompetent? All in all my husband waited for over AN HOUR AND 45 MINUTES get the new one installed. I am definitely displeased with the dishonesty of this company and will never be patronizing THIS branch and warn you to be cautious as well. read more

I went to this location today to use a Groupon for an oil change. The Groupon states that it's for standard oil,filter, windshield and topping off of fluids. When I arrived I was advised to not only pull up but redeem my voucher. Ok,fine, usually done after,but whatever. I am new to the state and the csr told me welcome to the worst state in America. That's pleasant.... Anywho, as I am waiting to get my oil changed I am of course advised of several things "wrong"with my car that need to be immediately addressed...mind you I had just went to my dealership not too long ago and know there is only one issue that needs to be addresed as it had not been driven in over a month. Not only that, but apparently my 13 year old car that i have had for 10 years now requires some super fancy oil not covered by the Groupon price but that requires 50 more dollars. I have never gotten anything but a basic oil change for my car and I have never had any issues with it. He says I will ruin my car and that the oil they are advertising in the Groupon will be outlawed soon. Well why are you selling and advertising it then???? Anyways I said I don't care I just want the regular oil, then he says I need a new air filter which I knew and that would be an additional $40!! Hmmm.... seems the Groupon says filter is included but whatever. I say yes because I know it needs to be done. I then look at normal prices for this air filter procedure and see this is more price gouging and told them I change my mind about 5 mins later. The man rolled his eyes and through his hands up at this. Fast forward to the time to pay and the man says since I "redeemed" my groupon already he can't process it. I told him the rep told me to redeem it when I pulled up, he then asked to see my e-mail on my phone and he still couldnt find it as if I hadn't just been purchased it! He then holds on to my phone for about 30 mins "searching" for it and then he finally says he hopes it will show up later... Fine,mind you I offered to call the Groupon people several times even though this is all your reps fault.. Then there are "taxes and fees" costing me an extra $13!!! I see that they charged me for windshield fluid as well which was supposed to be included. I wanted to see this receipt before I signed it,he says he is unable to do that until I sign it!!! What??? I'm so angry at this place I just want to leave. I leave and the man still has possession of my phone. He did not attempt to give it back at anytime I was there,he was only concerned about his taxes and fees! It was about 15 minutes before i realized i didnt have my phone and had to turn around. Then I find out the oil was not even filled up all the way. Unacceptable! Don't be mad because I don't want your fancy pants overpriced oil! I will never ever return to this place. Very poor service and poor customer support. Not happy. Don't come here! read more

WARNING: Do not get your oil changed here. After getting my oil changed, the engine started overheating. Took it to a mechanic and turns out they put something in my radiator. They try to sell you extra stuff (guessing that's where they make most of their profit). I refused them, and it seems they took it personal or something so they decided to drop something to clog my radiator. Lesson learned, from now on I'll be changing my own oil. Took my car in today to get my oil changed. I asked to have my tire pressure checked. Darryl the csm told me that tire pressure checks come with the oil change no problem. The sensor for my tire pressure was on when I got there. I Went to pay and asked him if they checked my tire pressure. He looked me dead in the eye and told me my right rear passenger tire was low and they filled it. He told me if the sensor stays on, I probably have a faulty sensor. Sensor was still on when I left there, I keep a pressure gauge in my car and checked all four tires, and they were all low. I filled all of them up with air to the proper psi AND THE SENSOR TURNED OFF. No way they checked them. Lied straight to my face and then thanked me for my military service and shook my hand. I'm really dissatisfied and disappointed because I've brought my car here in the past and now I feel uncomfortable bringing it back. 0 out of 10 for that. Not happy about it. read more
