Almost a good buying experience…read more My wife and I purchased a brand new car at Murdoch Hyundai last week. Overall, the dealership experience was fine - everybody was friendly and curteous as one would expect them to be and the finance guy was actually decent and didn't try to puch a bunch of extras on us. My problem was with the salesperson, Adah. She was friendly and responsive but was virtually clueless about the options and features of the vehicle we were planning to purchase. She thought the 147 horespower Hyundai Kona had "about 300 horsepower". She said the vehicle we bought (Kona N-Line S) had adaptive cruise control which it didn't on that trim level. She said the navigation works without a phone being paired which it doesn't. She suggested that there is no need to follow the 7500 mile oil change interval specified by Hyundai and instead said "most people just stretch it out to 10,000 miles". WHAT!!! Why would recommend I void my warranty??? She said window Tinting would be done on Tuesday - it was done on Thursday. Basically, I felt everything coming out of her mouth was just a guess that she was comfortable presenting as fact. Overall, I have no problem with the dealership but having a salesperson make so many mistakes misrepresenting / incorrectly representing a vehicle is unacceptable.

We bought a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe here. It's been a great car. We bought the extended warranty…read more Free carwashes and oil changes have been really nice. The emails get old but it's nice that they let us know when things need looked at. The service and sales people are great.

Haven't even had my car a year. I already need a new engine. It will cost more to fix it than I…read moreactually paid for it. I still owe money on it. Nothing works in it like it should. Lights started coming on the panel before I left the lot with it. They told me it was a glitch with the computer in it. It was fine to drive don't worry. Had I have known who the owner was before I bought it I would never had even walked in to the place. I have more I could say but I won't.

One of my customers bought a car from here a year ago a Chrysler 200s and man... Upon inspection I…read morenoticed it had been in an accident where a piece of the frame was cut and welded on to fix the damage... Out of the factory the frame is painted 1 color not 2 different color followed by really bad welding that wasn't even secured right so bolts that hold other supports to the frame we're unable to even be torqued all the way down.... Like Ive seen this kinda work back home in Cali in the kind of neighborhoods you'd expect it but did not expect that kinda work here in Utah. I understand fixing a vehicle but come on idk where these workers are coming from or even the people signing off on the work then selling it to people for 15+ thousand bucks. I have a lot of professional work experience in multiple fields from metal fabrication, collision repair, mechanics on just about everything and I'll tell you what management does not understand the meaning of quality or pride in there work..... Unbelievable

Amazing dealership, if you can really call it a true dealership. I recently sold my daily driver…read moreand was in the market for a car. I was searching all day and looking at different lots, but they either didn't have what I wanted, were too pushy, or flat out wasted my time. I found them as I was traveling north up the valley and pretty much was going to give up after them if I didn't find the car I was looking for. I searched their up-to-date website that had honest pricing and no shady "call for price". I found a car I was interested in and headed there. I went in and was greeted and shown the car. I looked it over and really loved the personal touches they put on each vehicle they had (mine had a new set of rims and tires that fit perfectly with the vehicle). After test driving, rather than rush for the sale, Nate really asked questions to get to know me and explained Black Rock and their philosophy about how you should leave with a car that makes others wonder where you went, instead of a car that everyone and their mother-in-law drives (my paraphrase not his exact words). This is a small business I was glad I stumbled upon, and even happier I was able to patronize. I didn't read any of the reviews before I went in, but I wasn't surprised when I saw all the 5-stars on them. Thank you again for my Jeep, and I already have had a few people asked where I went and how did I get it at the great price I did. I definitely shared your website and will continue to do so.

We were referred to Nate by our friends who purchased their Tesla X from him & totally recommended…read morehim because of their great experience they had. Nate seriously listened to my wants on my 4Runner & made it a reality. He went above and beyond what I asked for! We dealt with Nate the entire time, from start to finish. He helped my husband & I find & customize my dream 4runner that stayed within our budget loan & monthly Pmt!!! He's not your typical sales person that tries to sell you a car ASAP just to make money off you, but rather he listened to our concerns & needs/wants & was able to answer and respond back quickly through out the entire process even when we were out of state talk about building relationships Thank you So much Nate we seriously appreciate ya! I can't tell you enough how much I my 4Runner and the constant compliments I get from folks. Definitely won't be the first or last car we purchase from you
