Small Plate $7.99 (with side of gravy)

Want to feed the family without breaking the bank? Millstone Biscuit Co. has got great prices for great food, and no tipping necessary! The interior is decorated well, but you seat yourself, order yourself, and fill up your water/coffee yourself so there's no one to tip! This style of service isn't for everyone, but for those looking for something budget friendly, it's a great option. The biscuits are huge and taste great! They also have a drive-through for those needing breakfast/coffee on the go. We were skeptical on the Gravy Chicken Biscuit, but it ended up being everyone's favorite and worth the price! I would recommend the Small Plate ($7.99) as it has a little of everything for a good price!

Nice lol family run spot with good food; great service and a reason to come back! It's small but packs a punch! The biscuits are huge, soft and fluffy! They definitely know how to cook an over medium egg and the breakfast potatoes were cooked just right with a smidge of seasoning and by adding the grilled onions they were GREAT! They have community coffee bar with assorted mugs and coffee that I think is from a local roaster! Oh and their fried apples are the bomb they peel them and it was not too much cinnamon as I prefer and just the perfect sweet! The chef (possible owner) asked how we enjoyed it and the young lady who took our order checked on us several times! We will definitely add this to our places to stop while in town!

Chicken fried steak with egg and cheese. The biscuit was delicious-light and tasty.

Friendly and welcoming staff who take pride in the food they serve. I really liked having an actual mug and not plastic for my coffee. They also make everything to go-so you'll have breakfast tomorrow.

Does this look like a $10 bacon & cheese biscuit to you? And how about those "hash browns" masquerading as a potato cake? Nope, this is not McDonalds. Had to stop at Mc D's on way home because this place had no fresh ice tea (what, a southern inspired restaurant with only bottled tea?). The biscuit was good & the service friendly, although they messed up my simple order.

Great little breakfast spot in Pawleys. Fast service. Amazing biscuits. Nice small place where everything tasted and looked scratch made.

The ambiance was beachy, but laidback and friendly for any occasion. The food was quite good, with the litchfield biscuit and the hoisin shrimp wrap being my favorites. The apple butter on the litchfield was the best my family has ever had (an easy thing for us to agree on). They also have a great array of beers, with some nice local options. I will say that my Kentucky Cowboy milkshake was booze forward, so just a heads up if that's not your preference. I definitely would have chosen the Sweet Swine in hindsight. Ellen was a real gem though, as we had two coincidental issues with our food (not her fault at all) and she handled it like a real pro. The staff is all professional, and these two visits cemented BisQit as our go-to whenever we take another trip to Pawley's Island.

The egg was perfect, but it wasn't a great sandwich overall. The home fries were not very warm and the melted cheese on top (I asked to add) was also dry and very stuck together. So the potatoes were all one sheet of cheesy potato which did not easily break apart. The cheese they used was not a great melting cheese. Probably pre shredded with a caking agent on it. Anyway. It was all edible, but it wasn't great. Also, this is a very drafty place, tried to sit in the plastic walled porch but was freezing. The bar wasn't much better. And the annoying guy next to me who couldn't read the room didn't help anything.

I enjoyed the strawberry shortcake, blueberry cheesecake, cinnamon sugar and maple bacon. Sign up for their rewards club for $5 off on your first purchase. For non-vegans, pass on the vegan donuts- they were dry, cankey, lackluster and fell short of what parlor doughnuts is known for (see my photos). They varied by toppings but because the donut base wasn't great, it felt like you had 3 of the same thing. For $4-5 each, this definitely was not for me. One issue in particular is exactly where one is supposed to stand to order???--- its kind of confusing. Several customers were skipped over even though they had arrived first, but they simply didn't know where to place their order. Several cashiers were jumping back and forth from the drive-thru to the lobby too, which made it feel chaotic. Lots of various donuts, breakfast sandwiches, coffees, etc. are available. The menu was larger than we expected. The donuts are terrific. They aren't super unique in their creativity or recipes, but they are crafted well and are brioche style, not cake like at all. Very light! They are a real treat and worth the cost. Despite the hiccup in the lobby ordering system and its chaos, we will definitely return to try other donuts we didn't try this first time in.

I had been to another Eggs Up Grill before and knew mostly what to expect, but each one seems to be a little different. There's absolutely no shortage of breakfast places and pancake houses in the confines of the Myrtle Beach region, so I'd guess you have to stay sharp to keep people coming back when they make their trips. I was feeling like some french toast, and I always love bananas, those two worlds combined on their bananas foster french toast. I also got a side of bacon to give a nice salty offset to the sweetness. The french toast was fluffy and warm, adorned with caramelized bananas and whip cream. No additional syrup needed, it was sweet and delicious as is. There was plenty here to fill my belly before the golf ahead. The side of bacon was thicker cut, and a welcome savory bite to cancel out some of the sweet, because there is no doubt that french toast was very rich. Would come back, enjoyed this visit!

I've been meaning to swing by for a while and finally made it happen this morning. I called my order in ahead of time so it would be ready for pickup, and everything was smooth from the start. They've got plenty of parking -- a nice, big, clean lot that makes it easy to get in and out without fighting traffic. When you walk inside, it's a cute, welcoming space with a counter full of beautiful desserts and baked goods. Even though I had already ordered, it was hard not to stand there and admire everything in the case. I went with a bacon, egg, and cheese on a hard roll -- and it was better than I expected. Large, fresh, and clearly made with top-notch ingredients. One of those breakfast sandwiches that feels like it was done right, not rushed. You can taste the quality. The staff member on duty was polite and genuinely hospitality-minded. It didn't feel like a quick transaction. After handing over my order, there was a mention that cakes were being baked in the back and that normally there would be more cakes in the case -- just letting me know more items were coming out. That kind of small detail says a lot about customer service. It felt thoughtful and welcoming. They had three coffee options today: cinnamon bun, pecan, and Kona. I went with the plain Kona, and it was a great cup of coffee -- smooth and flavorful. My only "complaint"? I wish the cup was just a little bigger. All in all, Pawleys Island Bakery delivered a solid breakfast experience -- good food, good coffee, and good hospitality. I'll definitely be back to try some of those cakes next time.
