I absolutely love this treasure of a restaurant in Pawleys island. It is in the same area as Fresh Market PI Everyone there is so special and cares about providing the best service. Parking is right by the front door. There is such a variety of sandwiches. The food is delicious no matter what you get. I am partial to their Bacon Egg biscuit. And orange juice and coffee. My mouth waters just thinking about it. The restaurant is clean with big front windows to let the natural light in. I've never was disappointed with any meal I got there. I stopped in for the first time on August 25, 2026, to get breakfast to go. As soon as I walked inside I was met with warm greetings of "welcome in" and " good morning" from the friendly staff. I was provided the menu and ordered the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit with a side of sausage gravy along with a side of fried apples and a coffee. One of the staff members, Elizabeth ,chatted with me about their early bird discount if you arrive before 8:00 a.m. and talked about their menu and helped me with my coffee. I felt like I was a regular guest already! Thank you Elizabeth and the staff for making me feel at home. The biscuit was homemade fluffy goodness and the sausage gravy and fried apples were delicious! I have added this to one of my favorite places when visiting the area. I will be back! read more

My son and I needed a quick breakfast on our way back home from vacation and stopped here because it was close to our hotel. I ordered a sausage, egg & cheese biscuit sandwich and my son got bacon and toast. We didn't have to wait at all for our food to arrive. My biscuit sandwich was delicious! The biscuit was so nice a fluffy and with the cheddar cheese tasted amazing. I can't say enough about the biscuit. It's one of the best I've ever had. My son enjoyed his toast and bacon. Nice lol family run spot with good food; great service and a reason to come back! It's small but packs a punch! The biscuits are huge, soft and fluffy! They definitely know how to cook an over medium egg and the breakfast potatoes were cooked just right with a smidge of seasoning and by adding the grilled onions they were GREAT! They have community coffee bar with assorted mugs and coffee that I think is from a local roaster! Oh and their fried apples are the bomb they peel them and it was not too much cinnamon as I prefer and just the perfect sweet! The chef (possible owner) asked how we enjoyed it and the young lady who took our order checked on us several times! We will definitely add this to our places to stop while in town! read more

I happened upon the Millstone Biscuit Co in Murrell's Inlet three years ago, and left a 5 star review. This rating is no different for the Pawley's Island location. They truly offer up delicious food, especially their biscuits. This time I ordered the Greek Yogurt bowl and was pleased with it. Well....truth be told, I was sad because my tummy's desire would have been a chicken biscuit, but, dietary restrictions encouraged me to go with a healthier option. No worries, though! Everyone else in our party ordered a variety of their famous biscuit sandwiches, and not one bad review in the crowd. Everyone was pleased! I did sneak a bite of my sister's chicken biscuit and vow to be in better dietary condition the next time we visit, as to indulge in the fluffy biscuit deliciousness!! Great breakfast/lunch spot! There is decent seating arrangement within the small venue and there are an additional 4 tables outside. The service was quick as you place your order and also pay before you take a seat (you can pick your own spot as well). All the staff were very friendly, quick to ensure you have everything you need, and that the quality of the food is where it should be. The food was out in about 5 minutes. I ordered the country breakfast: 2 over easy eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 1 bowl of grits, and a biscuit. In my life, most biscuits I have are dry and lack taste but not the case here. The biscuit was large, moist and full of flavor. The grits, eggs and bacon were great as well! Planning to come back tomorrow! read more

I was headed to the donut shop and turned in the wrong driveway when I saw Millstone biscuit company. It looked appealing so I decided to change my mind and go to Millstone instead I'm glad I did. Service was quick at the counter. You help yourself to coffee here and they have real mugs. I decided to sit outside. I enjoyed sitting outside and eating an awesome biscuit sandwich. It was perfect! might be a regular if I lived here. I highly recommend stopping here for breakfast sandwich. They are a little pricey but now everything is it seems. Very filling. The whole package! Swung in here on a bit of a lark and will certainly be back. Great atmosphere, very friendly and unassuming. There are certainly regulars whom the staff know by name, but they don't make first timers feel like outsiders. Food was tasty and as advertised.
