We decided to eat here onsite after driving 5 hours to our destination. We were not disappointed with the view or the service from our server. The scallops had just enough kick to make them superb. The asparagus was al dente and the rice pilaf was perfect. The menu has good choices and we could eat here every night. If you are staying at Litchfield Beach and Golf Resort, I definitely recommend the restaurant inside or out! read more

This is the cleanest, friendliest, tastiest on property restaurant I have frequented in all my years of traveling. The food options and taste were fantastic-O! The service fast with drinks and refill even though they were slammed some days and only had one or two wait staff at breakfast. The daily options of fruit, granola, cheese, grits, peaches and bagels stayed. The hot foods of bacon or sausage, pancakes or waffles, eggs, fried potatoes and sausage gravy were something we all (my kids included) looked forward to by the end of our stay. The kitchen staff was always refilling and fixing the buffet foods etc. They also had rotational pasties and made sure to stuff those trays! I would be remiss if I didn't mention THE BEST THING about Coastal Dish. Her name is Miss Carol! Carol was kind to my three boys giving them chocolate milk for breakfast and even making me a Dunkin approved Iced Coffee that knocked my socks off. People - well people and amazing bacon - are the best right? And Miss Carol is who we will be looking for next trip. I have called to let the staff know how amazing she is but I hope she knows too. Well we purchased vouchers for breakfast for our stay and I'm glad I only purchased for two days. They told us there was a made to order omelette station which is why we bought the vouchers. There isn't. The buffet was identical both days. Canned fruit and some apples and oranges. Would have loved to have had some fresh melon or berries or something. The gravy is tasteless and the biscuits were hard. My son hit his on the table several times to show me how it was, "like a rock" We waited until our breakfast was almost done both days to get drinks and after those biscuits, we needed them. The area they serve breakfast in is way too small for spring break, they have a larger area they don't use and an outside with tables she said, "we don't want the plates broken so we don't let people eat there." read more

Service is always awesome here. The breakfast foods are always prepared nicely and plenty of them all the time at the buffet.

With the chilling temperature putting a damper on our regular Friday Happy Hour at the LBTS Beach Club; a dozen of us from St. Charles Place in Reunion Hall went to Coastal Dish [ the old Webster's ] in LBTS instead and had a great time. The gumbo, tacos, shrimp poboy, and crab cakes were tasty. We definitely will return. p/s. they have a breakfast buffet we will try in the future too. read more

This place is within the Litchfield Resort but accessible to anyone. The breakfast buffet is solid with a great selection of southern staples like biscuits and gravy to healthier options like fresh cut fruit yogurt and oatmeal. In the afternoon and evenings you can dine inside or enjoy the tiki bar outside. Full menu both places. Entertainment on the deck at the tiki bar on the weekends with cornhole and giant jenga. Fun time with a wide mix of happy people. My wife and I came here 3 times on our vacation to the area. We weren't staying at the resort, so just drive in and follow the signs. read more

We had 7 people in my group vacationing together. Four of us ate at Coastal Dish on Sept. 2 and we all became quite ill with a gastrointestinal bug that took away a good bit of our vacation time. The 3 who did not eat there were ok. Although the setting is lovely, the food and service were not remarkable. We regretted going there. read more

It has been several years since we had breakfast there (it was called Websters, then). Yes, the service was quite good. The food was quite bad, although plentiful. Large selection of fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. But (buffet) pancakes were cold and rubbery. Scrambled eggs were luke-warm and bland. No toast. Scone was stale. How does the Litchfied Resort management tolerate this food service? Vacationing guests at the Inn should get better food with their package deals. read more

The Deck at Litchfield is not a place I will return to due to a very abrasive bartender/waiter. The waiter was ignored my 27 year old son and his fiancé when they approached him with a question, then was ridiculous about not letting them sip a drink before carding them. The drinks were watered down. The singer was good, but when tipped $10.00 and given a song request, our friend was told, "I played that artist earlier tonight"? There were maybe 18 in our group and 7 others on the deck, really??? read more

My family had planned to try out the Tiki Bar on The Litchfield Deck but it rained. We instead decided to eat inside at The Coastal Dish bar area restaurant. It seemed nice with a live guitarist and clean atmosphere. However- it went downhill. The service was not good. We were greeted at the entrance by a young girl who didn't seem very professional or knowledgeable about the restaurant. No drinks were ever refilled. The sweet tea brought to us was so weak it looked like lemon water. We had to physically walk it to the bar to ask for another. In the meantime an altercation broke out at the table beside us between a customer and managers because it was taking so long for the table of 6 senior adults drinks to be served. The customer was asked to leave and he did. Meanwhile half of our tables food was brought out and half wasn't. Appetizers were brought out at the same time as main courses. We had ordered the nachos with No Tomatoes and they had tomatoes all over them. So we asked for another order without tomatoes. They never were brought out ! We finally said cancel those Hushpuppies (appetizer) were brought out finally and were cold- sent them back The bbq sandwich, fried shrimp, chicken tenders, fried pickles, fried, pizza & wings were good. Never offered drink refills. We left no tip. When checked our bank account the restaurant charged an additional $11 to our card after we left that we didn't sign for. We went in person next day to ask about it. They say "probably our banks fault". I think not. We are to call the day manager back if it isn't corrected. We will most likely give The Tiki Bar a try when weather is good but this restaurant really needs to step up their game. read more

We've been going to Litchfield by the Sea for about 10 years now and we've watched this restaurant steadily go downhill they are now only serving breakfast and I would not recommend it. Most of the things on the buffet were previously frozen and pretty bland. I don't think will return. The staff is always extremely pleasant I will say. If I were you I wouldn't go across the street to Apple Woods unbelievably fresh full breakfast. read more

I visited Coastal Dish twice this week at about the same time of day (730 - 8am). The first day the food was very fresh. The second day the food tasted like it had been up there for 3 hours. The omelette on the second day was better than the first. Hot Tip If the customer asks to be seated near the TV, the answer is yes. Not this room is closed. I can go down the street and get breakfast with much better service and coffee. read more

The breakfast is absolutely delicious. The made to order Omelets were fantastic and cooked to perfection. The overnight oats were the best that I have ever eaten and I will make at home now. Great selection and food was kept fresh on the bar. Service is wonderful. I highly recommend for breakfast. I will be back! Delicious! read more
