Great views while sipping coffee. One of the few places with robust decaf coffee. The scones were good but not exceptional.

Tbh, not my favorite coffee in the QC. Usually pretty bitter for my personal taste and overpriced. BUT the actual coffee shop itself makes me a casual customer. It is HUGE and the giant window allows in so much natural light. Unlike other coffee shops, they don't do live music or play stuff loudly over the radio. Making it the perfect study spot. If you're looking for good vibes and a fantastic place to do some studying I recommend it. read more

Milltown, Milltown, what do I have to say about your personality? It is very spacious, the windows help with that overall image. I do wish there were more comfortable seating options (the couches are always occupied!). The Asam tea is a nice black tea, which was recommended by the nice barista who understood my dislike of green teas (I can't do the green tea thing). I tasted the Cajun Sausage Wrap and meh, it was ok. Nothing awe inspiring where I would say the Cajun Sausage Wrap was awesome, but it hit the spot. Vegetarian Panini may have blown my socks away, that was pretty tasty. Service is A+. Everyone that works there has a favorite on the menu, and they love to tell you about it. Prices, I would come here once a week. The cappuccino didn't convince me to come more in a week. read more

Great place! Was in the area for a meeting so stopped by for a quick try an was very impressed. Love the interior for starters, the old warehouse style speaks to me. Weathered wood and brick and flat iron. Very nice! The drinks were tops also. Very balanced flavor in both the macchiato and cortado and a very good try on the art. The atmosphere here is the reason I return. It's always clean, and we have no trouble finding the right place to sit for our specific group size that day as they have so many options. I LOVE Milltown. It is my all time FAVORITE place when I am on a bike ride to grab coffee or to go and do my school work. Fast internet, Great employees besides one older lady who has been rude a few times to me now. AMAZING coffee. The banana fosters is amazing if you have the right person make it. I think some people may add too much banana to it, but I have gotten used to it and made sure to tell them to use half the amount. The food is SO delicous and if you stay there working late, they have beer and tea too!!! The huge windows really allow you to feel awake while you are typing away at work. Friendly customer service. Reminds me of many great coffee shops found in Denver where we live. However, my latte was not warm enough because they let it sit out while my fiance's coffee was being prepared instead of serving it to me. Atmosphere is warm and a quiet, productive place to work. The view is everything at this place! Right on the banks of the Mississippi River, this industrial style coffee house offers a variety of seating options and a great menu. Coffee is good but their specialty drinks are excellent! Decent local brew selections, hot food options, and a kind service staff. This is a MUST SEE spot in the Quad Cities. I love the atmosphere here--it's a very cool place for the Quad Cities. It's definitely a lot of younger people, but there are also older people and families that come in. I have not had the coffee, but I ordered the vegetarian black bean burger for lunch, and was slightly disappointed it cost $7.50 and did not come with any sides. There was a small mound of lettuce with tomato and cucumber, but there was no dressing with it. We are big coffee drinkers, and appreciate great coffee and good food to go with it. We are always comparing every shop to our hometown, local shops, which prepare handcrafted, fair trade and locally roasted coffees. I ordered a caramel iced latte, light on the caramel part, and it was delicious, as was the breakfast wrap I ordered, which was fresh and hearty. The view was great, the staff was lovely and welcoming, and we look forward to visiting again. read more

This place has been one of my favorite coffee shops in the Quad Cities! I have been to almost all of them in this area- and this is my favorite! Great vibes for homework and conversation. It is very spacious with a lot of tables, chairs, and couches. The interior is beautiful with a view of the Mississippi River. The only improvement I see is their baristas aren't the friendliest and their coffee drinks are not that consistent. Other than that, I love going here for nice scenery and comfort! read more

Milltown is great-- it has a cool vibe (especially for the Quad Cities), an awesome view, and really good coffee/breakfast. I had the plain drip coffee and a breakfast sandwich-- the brioche they use is killer. This weekend was my second visit in two weeks, and my new go-to when I'm visiting my family in the QC...my family is in Davenport, but it's worth the drive across the river. read more

I'm extraordinarily picky about coffee, and I prefer the European way of an espresso base. I had their macchiato, and asked for it to be a double shot, not so much milk. The flavor of the espresso is so clean and rich, no acidity or harsh bite. It was probably the best espresso I've had in town. Really remarkable.
