I came in by myself before a show and had very good food along with very good service and very pleasant ambience. In particular, everyone I spoke to was immaculately professional and kind, truly five-star service. I got deviled eggs as an appetizer and a French dip as my entree. Both were perfect. And it really has that picture-perfect urban bistro atmosphere. There is more seating than you might notice at first, since there is not only an upstairs dining room but a heated patio which was getting used in late-February, for what it's worth. I should note that this is a very wine-forward bistro, and I'm reviewing it despite not being a wine-drinker. It looks like they have lots of wine! And they clearly like talking about wine and it seems like they are knowlegeable about it. But I'll come back for the food and the service and the overall charm.

Checked this spot out after dinner so we solely came for drinks. It's a cozy place with great natural lighting and there was a r&b mix playing that we loved! The artwork and decor definitely caught our eye. We had great conversation while enjoying our wine. I would go back to try the food for sure.

Loved everything about this place. Starting with the wine, they have wine fights (not flights) which pair curated wines to allow you to taste, see, and smell similar wines from different regions. I chose the Sauv Blanc pairing and the difference was quite large. Fun way to experience a glass of wine. Next the food. The menu is not huge but provides several options. I chose the beet salad and Husband had the Caesar salad with chicken. Both were excellent. The presentation was as lovely as the taste. We started our dinner with the meatball app which was also excellent. Four good sized meatballs were perfect for sharing. Lots of sauce. Our table was upstairs which was so cozy. We had sitting room chairs instead of dinner table chairs which created a comfortable, casual, cozy experience, like you are hanging out in a more modern Jane Austen's house. The fireplace behind us only added to the aura. Service was excellent. We dined at our own pace. The servers worked well as a team. Loved it!

Although we visited Milly's on a Tuesday evening, it was pretty busy! They sat us in the heated patio area because everywhere else was full. Moral of the story: get reservations! Milly's has a highly curated, Millenial-chic vibe. It's a nice space, but almost too trendy for its own good. The luxury doesn't quite feel authentic. My partner and I don't drink, so we can't speak to the quality of the wine. However, it seemed like the staff were quite knowledgeable on that front. The food is good, but not nearly good enough to justify the tiny portions and high costs. We had two flatbread pizzas that we ate in just a few minutes at $17 each. For dessert, we had a creme brulee and chocolate charcuterie board that were also quite small for a total of $16. Milly's might be a great place for a wine-lover, but for a meal it's not worth the price.

The best wine bar in the twin cities Great selection of wines, Timothy is great at his job of Sommelier All the staff are awesome Food is small bites and just okay but the wine is excellent and the atmosphere is great for date nights The new patio is really nice too

Perfection! My group made a reservation in advance for 3 on the patio and enjoyed the entire experience. The patio is a great addition to this establishment as the entire is compact and cozy. Sitting outside on a gorgeous August summer evening was immaculate. The patio has a grass wall aesthetic (great for portraits) along with unique light fixtures. Another section of the patio gives more Betty Danger's energy with pink umbrellas on the tables. The staff was kind and helped us learn the menu and what makes Milly's unique from other bars. Many of the by the glass wines come as a pair which are typically themed. For example, I purchased the Tale of Two Zins red wine which came with 1 half pour of an old vine and 1 half pour of a new vine. Milly's also serves bottles of wine along with coffee and espresso. Many of the food items are designed to share so I recommend coming with a group! My group started with the Brussels sprouts, Bacon Gorgonzola flatbread and the Coastal Somm cheese Board. Every item was exceptionally yummy. Make sure you go for any seasonal item (IE: Somm board) as it will not always be on the menu. Thank you, Milly's! Can't wait to return again soon.

Milly's is an absolute dream for wine lovers. They have a robust, thoughtful wine menu that makes trying new things fun and approachable. Their wine "fights" are especially great - two half glasses centered around a theme that really allow you to explore the nuances in different wines. The staff are wonderful and knowledgeable, and give excellent recommendations if you don't know where to start. While the wines are the star here, Milly's also has a tasty food menu with many cheese boards, flatbreads, and other shareable plates so you won't leave hungry. And a dessert board? Absolutely yes. The indoor seating is cozy in cold months, but I'd recommend the patio if you're there in warmer seasons.

Came here again (my 2nd time) to have a chill nice time with my sister! I love that they just added a patio which is so cute!! Patio is dog friendly and half of it is covered but half is not (although there are a few shades). I got there charcuterie boards again and kiwi white wine flight! I had chef's boards and dessert board. I loved their collection of cheese for the chef's board and the white chocolate mousse from the dessert board. Must visit place in the downtown mpls area if you are looking for a chill but cute place to visit with ur friends and families!

The spot was about 20 minutes from where I was staying at. Definitely worth the walk. I know it may not be as nice once the snow starts flowing. I ended up getting their 2 1/2 pour drink pair. Both of them were super good and I wish I had more time to spend at this spot. It is a very cute spot. Sadly, there was a private event upstairs so I was unable to see what was up there. However, downstairs created a very cute atmosphere.

5/5 for location, 5/5 for service and ambiance is a perfect date or girls night out spot. I was near the stairs but saw seating by the corner window and was jealous of the group that was sitting there lol. The only thing I was surprised about was the portion sizes. I've been to a decent amount of wine bars that sell food and while the taste was phenomenal, it wasn't alot. Most wine spots I like to share with the table or whoever I'm with, so I rarely just order for myself. Next time I come, I will definitely need to get two of some things if who I'm with also wants some. I did order the mini board, but it was because we also ordered the pizza that I forgot to take a picture of.

We came here randomly and it's a cute gem in the cut. Very low key and such a vibe. Loved the wine recommendations. Wasn't too busy and the space is super cozy specially upstairs. Service was great, but with the small space I can see it getting busy. Street parking so if it's busy that can be a little tough but would definitely recommend!

Loved, loved, loved this place! The perfect spot to meet up for drinks and appetizers. I met up with a friend after work and sat out at their little patio in back. We ordered deviled eggs, bacon wrapped figs and bruschetta and ALL of them were amazing. I ordered the "Fight Kiwi Fight" which comes with two different glasses of Sauvignon Blanc from the smoking region of Marlborough. One of the wines scored 93 from the reputable Tasting Panel Magazine & the other was an unrated selection picked by their Sommelier. They were both wonderful! I'd recommend sitting inside as it's very well decorated and beautiful. The outside is also nice for some fresh air but the space is limited and the ground in some spots is a bit uneven. Service was great! Very knowledgeable & helpful when it came to ordering drinks!

The wine list is really thoughtful and leans toward smaller, lesser-known producers and unique regions. Even if you know wine well, there are still plenty of interesting picks here. Just note that by-the-glass options are limited, so it's more of a place where you end up ordering a bottle. The space is beautifully designed. Very minimal, clean, and intentional. It feels elevated without being overdone. It is definitely expensive for what it is. Both the wine and food lean high in price, but you're also paying for the atmosphere and overall experience. The menu is also a bit different in a fun way. The tinned fish selection stands out and isn't something you see often. The radish butter and bread was a highlight and absolutely worth ordering. Service is a little unconventional since you order at the counter, which feels a bit off given the pricing, but everything still runs smoothly.

We wanted a recommendation and the wine picked for us was excellent. Went with the Plavac Milos. The food is honestly incredible! The carrots were my favorite. Someday I'll get enough courage to try the tinned fish. I wish seating was a little more comfortable for the whole "drink a bottle and stay awhile" vibe. It also can get pretty loud when it's busy in the tight quarters.
