On Dec 15, 2025, we used Milne Towing to transport my husband's 1944 Ford GPW (WWII Army Jeep) from our house to downtown Reno for a community engagement, then back home again. The customer service was excellent from the initial phone call to the tow. We spoke to dispatcher Cassandra a few times, and she was always cheerful and efficient. Brandon arrived early with the tow truck and took his time getting the vehicle on the back of the truck with great care. He was also personable and efficient. When he and my husband, who rode with him, arrived at the downtown location, he very carefully lowered the Jeep onto a raised area for the event - then helped my husband and I push it to get it into perfect position. On a side note, for several years while my husband was board president of our former HOA, he had several interactions with Milne and they were always professional. I recently had my truck towed by milne from the airport as I mistakenly parked a few spots away from reserved spot which was unmarked. When I contacted milne they said they had it and if it was after hours it would be $106.00 dollars for an after hour call out, I said I would pay it expecting them to be there in a reasonable time. I arrived by Uber at the gate when the driver called and said he was on another call and would be about an hour so I sat on a rock by the closed gate until he arrived. Upon arrival he said he had another call and I would have to wait longer. So I sat on the rock for another hour until he came back. At this point he took me into the office where there was an office lady sitting there the whole time I was waiting outside, they still charged me the $106.00 dollars for a call out while they were already there working. Very upsetting and I felt taken advantage of since they knew I was needing my vehicle. This is not a professional business and I felt preyed upon. Shame on you Milne. read more

Called for a tow, spoke with dispatcher Cassandra at 1:30 pm. Cassandra was rude, unable to give me important information such as ETA of tow truck. Her repetitive response of "the truck is on its way, the truck will get there when it gets there" was so disrespectful and unprofessional. How can a tow truck dispatcher not give a customer the expected arrival time of a tow truck?! Tow truck arrived about 1 hour after tow request (2:40). Driver, Paul, was courteous and helpful- 5 star for Paul's professionalism. Note to company: Dispatcher should be informative- give customers an estimated arrival time. This towing company prays on apartment complexes to tow people and then charge them large amounts of money to get their car from their lot. Be careful if your car does get towed by them to get it out ASAP. They will charge daily storage fees and at some point start the paperwork process for them to legally own your vehicle. They had seen our vehicle numerous times in a handicap spot and one night we forgot to put it up and we were towed and charged $350 right before the holidays. I would not recommend this towing company to my worst enemy. Again check other local towing company's that have above a 3.3 star rating on google. read more

Agree with the vast majority of the reviews, do NOT even deserve a 1 Star rating. This happened earlier this year and I just decided it was past time to write a review. My son used my truck to help his girlfriend move into her new apartment at 9PM. There were no parking spaces available anywhere near her apartment, which is upstairs in the back, so he temporarily parked in front of her apartment building to unload some heavy items. He had the truck hazard lights on (we have a picture of this) and he unloaded several items and then was going to move the final heavy furniture item. He was not away from the truck and in the apartment any longer than five minutes or less and went out to move the truck, only to discover that it had been towed, even though the hazard lights were flashing. In researching, we discovered similar stories of this PREDATORY towing practice. And, that they have a contract with various apartment buildings and just drive through the parking lots looking for "violators". Amazingly enough, there was a car that had been parked in a handicap spot for two days, with no handicap plates nor a handicap placard, and it had not been towed. We went to pick up the truck and the employees we dealt with were all extremely rude. We were advised that the truck had been parked with nobody in it for at least 20 minutes, a lie. Since the hazards had been flashing all night the battery was dead. We were charged $250.00 for the towing that was 3 miles. They towed my car because I double parked in my apartment parking spot, my bad. When I called, they called back (weekend) and the guy told me that ONLY the registered owner could pick it up even though it was towed from my parking spot. I was honest and upfront, told him that the car was a gift from a good friend lives 500+ miles away and not available to come to Reno and that I am underemployed and can't afford to get the car out in a few weeks or month when my friend might be able to come. I told him the whole story thinking that full disclosure would be best, assuming that my friend could just call/scan/fax something and we could jump through whatever hoop had to be jumped through. He reiterated that ONLY the registered owner could pick up the car. I reminded him that it was towed from my parking spot and reinforced that this would drastically change my life to lose the car. I was borderline begging this guy pleading for mercy. He literally laughed out loud, but he was laughing to himself.He said said nothing for like 10 or 15 seconds and then kind of made a few grunting noises to indicate NO. I told him this is "predatory" and that instantly PISSED HIM OFF!!! He went off, it must be a trigger word for tow truck drivers. IDK? He instantly started mocking me about keeping all my stuff in the car. He's obviously had A LOT of practice with this kind of conversation. He gut laughed when he said I could buy it at auction. I felt like a fool, just begging for my daughters car seat from the person that just stole my car. He let me know, in no uncertain terms that I would NEVER get my car seat or anything else from the car. He was really having a good time with it,. After he hung up, in the middle of laughing at me, he then sent me a text messages mocking me about keeping my car and child's car seat. My elderly uncle had to pick up food from a business where there was no parking and they got approval from the worker of the business where there was parking and they said that it was okay for him to park there to get his food. When he got back, his car was gone. When we went to the tow yard to pick up his car, they charged him $429.00! When I requested the information for the driver that towed the car and why they towed it, which by Nevada Law, they are required to give that information upon request and they denied all of my requests for the information. Since my last review these guys have really dropped the ball. I have had a problem with these guys even showing up. They leave me on hold. Have a lot of excuses. They didn't have any problems coming that first time collecting the cash that first day. As I waited. They didn't even hook up the car. Now I call am left on hold for long periods of time. Repeatedly having to give all my information. Then after they tell me they have dispatched a tow truck. They don't. Or I get the complete run around. I need this card. ( no such card exits ) Tell me I to be there to sign this . ( I never signed before. ) I didn't sign before. They just took the cash. They never asked me any information. I waited for their response and am left on hold. Everyone knows the bad business with South Ridge Apartments aka FPI and their management. Whom informed us tenants we can tow with our leases and space number on our own space. Just call.( they know it's my spot they have already been paid ; so what's the problem) Which they have already done for me once. Now everything has changed. After they collected that cash. I never had to sign anything before. They never Provided me with anything the first time. ( who got that cash ?) They had permission Wendy R. the property manager. They know I am the tenant at that apartment an the owner of that spot. So now all this hassle. Why ? This horrible service the last three calls. They never showed up. Sent false info. The next days this went on. Allowing these individuals to park all night and the entire day in my spot after 5pm. Then another call leaving me on hold. I'm rewriting my review. As a completely handicapped senior to be bullied by these tenants. ( I already have a few assault and battery charges against these people parking in my spot. An court orders to stay away from me. My parking spot. My apartment for my safety. ( these individuals half my age traveling in gangs of 4-6 usually on drugs and alcohol who are aggressive) And now getting completely ignored by Milne tow because they don't want to do their jobs anymore. They usually drive through here early every morning. They aren't even doing it either. Karma. You get what you give It's sad employees act immature and take down their business acting unprofessional. I should have wrote this a few weeks ago, but I travel a lot. My wife and I were in our RV far from home when we broke down. Thank gosh for Robbie and his expertise in towing! He was personable, kind and was able to get us to a friends house so we could get some assistance. I appreciate his experience and ability to handle what was for us a very stressful situation. My nervousness for our rig to make it down the interstate safely was quickly put to rest when Robbie got behind the wheel of his truck to get us where we needed to go. It was snowing & he pulled behind me at an angle so I would not get hit. He waited for NHP with me, kept me calm and got me and my truck home to Carson in a snowstorm.
