When someone had backed into my car and left without a proper note I knew I needed to take it somewhere I trusted to be honest. I brought my car into Grove Street Auto Body and the nice woman came out and gave me an estimate for the damage. She was willing to work with me as a self pay and not use my insurance. Everything was all set up for me to drop my car off when I lucked out and was able to find the woman who had hit my car. I immediately got a hold of Grove Street and the womans insurance so they could start the billing for them. I was very impressed the way Grove Street handled my car and the insurance issues. I was rear ended and the man's insurance (Kemper - which is crap insurance) sent me to this garage. The owner was great at communicating and unfortunately my baby, Mazda CX-5 was a total loss. I have had a few things done and both times, the service was done beautifully and fairly-priced. One company wanted to repaint the roof of my car for $5000-$6000 and they did it at Grove for about $1000. They did job and it looks amazing and it's been a few years- they do the work correctly. They repaired my fender and wheel well and were able to buff out since I didn't want to pay to get it painted - it looks great, really nice. Sarah is awesome to work with. read more

I took my dads truck a year ago for a dent on the hood, it got fixed but we got the truck back with a scratch on the side of the windshield, and I took my car to get fixed it got fixed, but the settings on my car we're changed why did they mess with my settings if all it was a taillight and bumper, and also it took a month to get my car back, when my dads truck took a week and a half, not going back!!! read more

I will preface this review by saying I am STILL waiting for my car to be repaired, after sitting untouched at Grove Street Auto Body for 8 days now. When I dropped the car off, I made it clear that I needed the car back in just under 3 weeks because my family and I had planned a big road trip. I was assured that was "plenty of time." Because the damage from my accident was hidden and they didn't know the extent until they looked at it, I expected it would take longer than 2-3 days. But after 3 days in the shop, I still had heard nothing. I called and was told that my insurance was using a new online system for shops to use, and they hadn't filed the information on the additional damage they found, but they would do it that day. That was a Friday. I told them again that I needed the car in 2 weeks for a road trip. I was told that was "plenty of time." Now, four working days later, I still hadn't received a call (why can't ANYONE from this place be bothered to call with updates???) so I called them and was told they had the parts, they were just waiting for the insurance company to approve the repairs. FOUR DAYS LATER? Um, why not call me? Why not follow up with a call to the insurance company? How long would I have been waiting to hear about this? Now, with my road trip looming in just 9 days, no progress has been made. The follow-up at this place is atrocious. I have no idea what kind of auto body repair quality they offer, but so far the service is terrible. read more

I got in a fender bender (not my fault) and after getting some quotes decided to come here. They were really friendly and offered me a good deal on some additional work I asked them to do. They were able to get me in quickly and arranging for a rental car was very easy. I got the call just a couple of days later that it was ready to go and when I got there it looked like a brand new car. They did so much more than I thought they would, even down to vacuuming and cleaning the inside of my car. They made an unpleasant accident turn into a great experience. Last year I had Grove Street Auto Body repaint a 68 Mustang for me. The car was an original Highland Green like Steve McQueen's Bullit Car and I wanted it repainted the same. I drove the car for six months and loved it. Sadly I had to part with it at Barrett Jackson's Vegas Auction. The Condition and the paint were incredible! The car was given an award for one of the premium paint jobs in the auction by the people at Mothers Car finishes. I took it in an with no questions asked, they repainted the car and even repaired a small new ding that I had gotten in the time past for free!!
