I would say between 3-4 stars A Ok to being a fan in my book. Well lit especially nicer after their remodel. The gas is 76 brand as you would know by the name. The convenience store is a 7-Eleven store and it's a decent size, not your closet sized convenience store. Good amount of space to get around the gas pumps. Seen easily from 237 Calaveras Main Street. Has more than one exit and entrance driveways depending from which direction you're coming from. read more

I went here to use their air station, to inflate my tires. After using my credit card and getting charged 1.50 and tried to use the air, I realized that the nozzle was broken. When I went inside to tell them, the cashier already knew it was broken, but couldn't refund me. I asked her to at least cover the credit card slot and coin depository, and her reply was she would let her manager know. Took my brand new car here and asked them for a hand wash to avoid scratches and when the car was done, I have 3 new scratches on my hood and one on the passenger side. This review is for the 76 right before the 880 exit. I buy my own oil and usually bring it to qualty tune up to change it for me. Fortunately I wen this 76 because it is close to kragen where i bought my oil. I asked the man how much they charge to change oil if i already have my oil and filter. He said 12 Bucks. Damn thats the less ive ever paid., Places usually charge me 15-20 dollars. So I go to L&L's bbq while i wait. When i Walk back they were just finishing my car and a different guy was there. He said ok all don that would be 15 dollars. I said the other guy told me 12. He said ok. And that was that. I will be back here all the time., Tilll next time Yelpers. read more

I'm a bit curious to see why this gas station has such bad ratings. Well my guess is the ratings were horrible from what this gas station was before it was rebuilt and reopened. In my opinion, this has got to be my favorite gas station. I don't think I've gassed up any where else besides here since I've found out about this place. Gas here is about 8 cents cheaper if you pay cash, so you better be prepared to pay cash at this station. This gas station is also probably the cheapest around here (76 gas-wise). This place is like brand new, clean mini mart, a bunch of gas pumps so it never gets crowded. All the little things about this place adds up to one of my favorite places to gas up (if not my favorite). As a matter of fact, I'm going to need to gas up soon again....seee you soon 76! read more

This station has just recently reopened after being closed for about 9 months for reconstruction and remodel. Gas prices are comparable (about 5 cents more a gallon) than the price at Costco Stations... They added a very nice, large 7-11 with clean restrooms to wash up after that melted snickers bar, as well as a auto spa car wash. I received a two for the price of one car wash and they did an excellent, detailed job on both vehicles! The staff is cheerful and friendly which is saying a lot for these guys cleaning cars out in the heat. Wifi service is available with lots of shaded seating for awaiting your bright, shiny, renewed vehicle. I'll be back here, for certain! read more

The is a review of the car wash and not the gas station. This is want of the worst car washes I've been too. They are very disorganized. 1) The main line for the car wash over laps with the parking for the 7-11 shop. So if your in line for a car wash, you can block people getting in and out of the 7-11. Plus, if you need to back your car to let someone out, you better hope that the people know that too and also backs up. 2) there is a second line that going into the car wash BUT since it on the W Calaveras Blvd side of the car wash, you block people fro getting out of the gas station PLUS you cutting into the line of other cars getting into the car wash. So... If you see a line for 4 cars in front of the 7-11 waiting to get into the car wash, go in from the W Calaveras Blvd side. You might be the only one in line . :-) 3) Not all the people know how to drive the cars there. I was standing there watch two employees trying to driving a car into the wash and couldn't. Had to wait for a three more qualified people to start the car and drive it in. 4) When my car was ready, I tipped the employee and got into my car. But there was this big truck in front of my which they were still working on. They said they will move the truck so that I could get out. Waited. Waited. WAITED! 5 minutes later. The owner of the truck came by and truck it out. I guess they didn't know how to operate the truck. See my #3 comment. Over all, I would not go there again. Even though they are just down the street from my house, I would rather goto the car wash on Montague and 880. PS. I posted a pic I took while at the gas station. What is wrong is that pic. For a newly gas station, they always run out of paper for RECEIPT or they say system failure why there receipt doesnt dispense at the gas station. If it happens to you once or twice, its probably true; but if it happens mutliple times, they are messing up with customer. They probably just want customer to go to cashier and be tempted to buy there stuff. Good for business but they just wasting my time. Im paying my gas using my credit card conveniently so I dont have to pay at the cashier and expect to get my receipt every transaction. But NO i got rip off too many times. If I end up seeing the cashier for that stupid receipt, I could have paid cash and get more gas out of my money. ***FYI price each galloon differ if you pay cash or credit/debit card. ** I gave 1 star for those lady cashiers who are smiley and friendly. I am disgusted at the way I was treated at this 76. The dark flip/mex/arab guy was extremely RUDE. He would not press a button to save your life if your life depended on it. I asked him nicely to borrow a tire pressure gauge, he said no. Okay, that's fine. As a frequent customer, the tire was flat and I asked him to buzz me for the air machine. Essentially, you press a button to remotely turn on the machine for air. He said go put in $1 coins. I said I'm a frequent customer. He said show me your receipt. Forget it. I'm done with this place and will take my money elsewhere. The Mike guy who paid $12 labor only for an oil change got ripped off. It usually cost only $10. I am giving the one star to some employees at the carwash. Two of them, Julio and the person who is selling the carwashes, are very rude. The person selling the washes on the day I went, also lied about being the manager. I took my car for a wash and I left there with streak marks on my window that I had to go home and wash it again myself. They are using the same cloth to dry the body of the car on the outside, the inside frames when you open the doors which are very dirty and oily, and then the windows. It is like you mop the floor with a cloth and you use the same cloth on the windows. Of course you will see all the dust/dirt on the windows! This is not right!! If you use a dry clean cloth JUST for the windows, you do not get all the marks. The answer I received when I asked why they are using the same cloth on the windows? "This is what we do when we dry out, you see this everywhere you go and you will have the marks because the cloth is wet; we do this for everyone." I pay $30 for a professional carwash service to get this? That is why I go to a professional, so I can get a good service.It seems that they are satisfied being the same as every other shop instead of beating the competition and do something different, have higher standards. In the end, the guy said "you do not tell me how to do my job, you can move on" and he made a gesture to take my car and leave. Unacceptable behavior!! In case this is all news, this business is in the service industry, and he has "his job" because of us, customers. If we are not happy with their job, there will be less business and less or no income; therefore resulting in no job. You can take your customers' feedback, make improvements, and stand out from other shops so we can come to you, NOT be disrespectful. I have four cars and I have been a loyal customer to this station for years as it is a nice station otherwise. I bring in lots of income. I have never encountered such behavior. I wanted to talk to the manager and when I asked the person who was selling the carwashes outside if he is the manager he said "yes" which was a lie (I later found out from an employee inside that he was not and that actually Julio was the manager). Thinking that he was the manager, I told him the whole story and I asked him to walk with me so he can talk to the person drying my car about his rudeness. All the impersonated "manager" said to him was "what happened?" and he got the answer that he dried with the same cloth. I told him again that it is not right and the "manager" suddenly turned the back on me and left. I could not believe my eyes. I went after him to find him and he started vacuuming different cars at the carwash entrance and when i told him that he left me there talking he said:"lady, I have cars to clean! I talked to him, what do you want me to do?" Talked to him? All he said was "what happened" and that was it. Of course he could not do it because he was NOT the manager. He lied to a customer. The actual manager was Julio and he did not say anything. They both played "theatre" with me. What a poor service!! I have seen other reviews about Julio as being customer service oriented not with me or maybe is a different Julio. I hope the owner will take measures in hiring, training, and developing the staff he/she hires and maybe think, like I mentioned above, to additional ways of improving certain services. Also, if a complaint procedure would be available, it would help as well. I could not reach the owner. Hiring inexperienced people who do not know how to properly discuss with customers could cost the owner a great deal of business. I know I would not want to have these types of personalities that drive people away on my team. You have to be open to ideas and take it as constructive criticism, learn, and implement. I take my car here for the SMOG only test station. The old Asian looking guy is quiet and doesn't greet you but that's just his personality, nothing personal. He's efficient, takes care of you, and if you talk to him then he'll open up. He's really a nice guy. I never waited more than 20 minutes. Price is okay, it's fair. The lot is clean, not stacked with old cars, and there's hardly any lines. read more

The rating is based off of the customer service received at the car wash. Rating for the quality of the car wash would receive a 2 star rating from me. Since the station recently opened, they had a 1/2 off deal on all of their car wash specials. It was $17 compared to the full $35. I had been meaning to clean my car and my sister's car for the past month; I decided to get two deluxe packages because of the deal. I went on Wednesday to get my car washed and cleaned. The package I purchased included a wax along with the wash. The wax looked good, but the wash was mediocre at best. There were still some stains on the car. For the vacuuming, I also felt ripped off. I forgot to remove the carpets on my floor, and was in a rush the day of my cleaning. Upon returning home, I inspected the car and found that they did not even lift the carpets to clean under them. I could have done a better job myself at home. Today, I went to get my sister's car cleaned and washed. I made sure to remove everything before going. The wash and wax was again, just okay. Definitely would NOT pay the full price for it; I'm not even sure if I am satisfied with paying half for what was done. The vacuum this time was better since I made sure to take everything out. BUT what made me most angry was that my sister's arm rest on the driver side was bent past where it was before we had it detailed. I noticed it again after I went home. I immediately called and they told me to go back so they could check it out. When I got there, they looked at it and simply said "we didn't do it." The man looking at it pulled the "I'm a mechanic, I know what I'm talking about" card when I told him it was not like that before getting it washed. They kept insisting that they didn't do it and sent me on my way. Did not comp anything; the man who claimed he was a mechanic said "he would take care of me next time." I highly doubt there will be a next time. Overall, quality of the job was mediocre and service was extremely poor. Damaged my sister's car and did nothing about it. read more

The employees here are lazy and get upset if you use your 711 rewards they don't like to scan anything or print receipts if your receipt doesn't print out while getting gas. They will frown at you and give you an attitude at the cash register. I did a search for a car wash the other day and ended up at the Unical 7 Eleven and Car Wash. They really went above and beyond, practically detailing my car! There was gum on my dashboard that they removed and also they reattached my rear view mirror! Never has any car wash spent this much time making sure my car looked great! read more
