This KOA was very beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay here. My review would be five stars, if it were not the fact that this was the dustiest place my husband and I have ever stayed... and the bulldozers that were constantly doing dirt Work and site prep work kicked up do much. Pros- the grounds are beautiful and well maintained Gorgeous views Immaculate laundry room and restrooms Good location Reasonable prices Cons Very narrow and twist road to get out. I've never seen such a tight exit in an rv park Soooo dusty Many of the sites are not level, it made setup as well as hitching up to leave take 2x as long as normal Overall I would recommend this place. This KOA is clean and seem to be fully staffed with friendly folks. The check in process was efficiently streamlined. They provided recycle and trash bags. The actual campsite was adequate for our 5th wheel. We had forgotten it was Memorial Day weekend and had a back in site rather than pull through as we requested on our online reservation. However, when I called they said they'd help us because all the pull throughs were booked. They did as promised--which made it super easy. The pool, camp store, and laundry were clean and well kept. The growing edge would be to wet down the gravel roads to help with the dust. This didn't stop us from rebooking for next year because we enjoyed it so much! read more

I couldn't be more disappointed with the management at this KOA campground. Let me first say we bought our camper in Spring 2020, and immediately became members of KOA. In the last 4 summers, we have almost exclusively camped at KOAs because we appreciate their locations all over the country, full hookups, dog parks, and amenities. We've been guests at Milton KOA in Wisconsin several times, even renting one of their golf carts one long weekend away from our busy work schedules, and have usually enjoyed our stays. We had a sudden death in the family Friday 6/2, but we were scheduled to stay at Milton KOA June 8-10. As soon as I was aware of funeral arrangements, I immediately called the campground Saturday 6/3 to cancel. We are KOA VIP, so cancelation is supposed to cost us $0. They refused a full refund because I was canceling within 7 days of our booked stay, charging us $54.07. I offered compromises, such as changing the date of the booking, or taking a credit for a future stay, but the young associate who took my phone call wasn't accommodating. I asked to speak with a manager and was told they'd be in Monday. I've since called several times in the following 10 days, yet never once was their phone answered by a live person. I left 2 voicemails requesting management, both unreturned. I emailed with a link to the funeral information (same last name as mine), still no response. So I called KOA corporate to report the lack of management response and disrespectful customer service. They told me to wait 1-2 days, still I've heard nothing from Milton KOA. My next step will be to call corporate again, and send the paper pamphlet from the funeral in US Mail. A death in the immediate family should NEVER EVER be a reason someone does not get a full refund, or at least the respectful option to reschedule the booking without penalty. This campground, unless they fix this mistake, will not see another cent from our family during our many many camping trips. Milton, WI is a disappointment to the KOA brand, where we have been 99.9% thrilled with our other stays from Key West KOA in Florida, to Glacier KOA in Montana. I truly hope they make it right for us, and all future campers who might have a similar loss. read more

Positive: Check-in staff very friendly and appeared to be college students. Grounds well maintained. Level site on gravel, full hookups. Adequate space between sites. Thursday, Friday & Saturday the place is totally full. Quiet. Trash pick up. Lots of activities for families. Secure area. Negative: No hot water in showers. We just spent the weekend at the KOA in Milton. The park is very clean and well kept. The two playgrounds were great for our 2 year old. As others said the pool could be larger but overall it works just fine. Sites are maintained well and everything worked as expected. read more

Don't stay here! $10 early check in fee at 1:00 unusual, they said check in is 3 pm. Not reasonable for an RV park. Place is hardly occupied but they put us in between two other large rigs. Worst problem is leaves covered in sap that caked on your shoes. My poor long haired dog had to have his paws soaked each time he went out. I scrubbed our shoes and floor for 2 hours and my just cleaned carpet is now filthy with yellow sap. Had to put the awning and chairs away. Called the manager to tell her so that others can park on the concrete sites open all around us. It was 5 pm, she never called me. The girl in the office said I had an hour to change sites when first checking in. We didn't know there was a problem until moving around the RV later in the day. No one ever acknowledged this or apologized or even bothered to see what I am talking about. This place is a nightmare. read more

This campground has more park models and is interested in even more of them! Campers beware they don't care about us. We had to leave early by over 48 hours and we requested 1 days refund and were told no but given no reason. As KOA members we thought that we were eligible for a refund so long as we gave 24 hours notice, but that's not true for my koa membership. I'm not eligible for any refund no matter how long I have been there or for how much time I have left. Bewaryn not fair. read more

The owners are only in it for the money. Absolutely God awful customer service. Been going here on/off for 10+ years, sad to say this place sold its soul once it became a KOA. It used to be privately owned and called Hidden Valley but it's been steadily downhill from there. The place has so many rules it's essentially a prison. My 20 year old son is more than old enough to drive a golf cart, and my 17 year old son is more than mature enough to handle himself in a hot tub. They were rudely chastised for both, one kicked out of the hot tub, the other given a warning for the golf cart. Will warn everyone I know about ownership and the prison-like rules from now on. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE. read more

One of the most expensive campgrounds in Wisconsin. Every year their prices go up $5 or more. Staff and owners are rude and just in it for the $$. Don't let the pictures of the pool fool you. It's extremely small. We've been camping here for 12+ years, with a group of 10. We will not camp here anymore. Too fed up with $, lack of concern for customer, and unkept promises. Additionally, horrible mosquitoes and flies, along with standing water on many sites. Also, not many amenities for the older kids. read more

KOA is not my typical preference for camping. I enjoy the quiet state park scene. Needless to say, I made reservations to join friends to camp for the weekend. I then tested positive for covid 4 days before the trip ugh. I figured being a KOA that they were not going to budge on their 7 day cancellations policy. I gave it a try and called, gave my story and asked if I could talk with the manager to explain my story or even talk about another solution if it couldn't be a full refund. I was told they would not be in until the next day. Next day called, they took my phone number so she could call me back and nothing. They had cancelled my reservation, which I was then trying to find someone else to take my reservation so that I would not be out my $83 deposit. I have camped all of my life and do not have issues camping in inclement weather or anything like that. The person on the phone could clearly tell I was sick and even acknowledged the fact that I did not sound good. I would have gladly sent them a picture of my test. I wasn't even offered a partial credit or credit at all to go back at a later date. It is just real sad that with what is going on that they can't work with people a little more. I understand that they are in the business of making money. Good customer service goes along with that. It is opening weekend that was fully booked. I am sure that site will be sold to someone else and they will get their money out of the site. Most likely they have a waiting list. I am sure they would not have appreciated me coming and potentially getting others sick, This is the nail in the coffin for me and camping at KOA's. Just very sad. read more

I would give this campground a better rating if only for 2 things. First, they have an adults-only swim time from 3-4pm and the adults are very nasty about enforcing this. The pool is too small; and even though they claim it is heated, the water was cold. Second, they advertise free WiFi but it is weak and didn't reach as far as our campsite. We didn't get any internet at all. It's as if they cater to their seasonal and permanent residents and everyone else is secondary. read more

This campground was absolutely immaculately clean and well maintained. The pool was beautiful and sparkling clear. The bathrooms look like a five-star hotel. The water at the campsites were wonderful too! No nasty well smell or cloudy grey coloring. I was absolutely impressed. The office staff were all kids who need more training. They were very nice but didn't know what to do often and how to answer questions. Greta was the most knowledgeable on the team. There was no adult on duty for the first three days nothing could be answered until Monday until the manager, Amber came back who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Amber fixed everything we needed and answered questions. Note. This didn't ruin our trip but was problematic. Also, the sites are smaller than expected. It's very close quarters but luckily we had fantastic families on both sides. Overall - it was a fantastic visit. We will be back! read more

Excellent RV Park. Nice sites with full hookups. Nice clean bathrooms and showers. Friendly staff. A lot of recreational activities: pool, laser tag, hiking, playground for the kids, huge area for pets, volleyball, and scheduled activities on weekends in the summer. I would give it a five if they had cable. Overall one of the best I've been at in this country. Good job KOA!! read more

Very, very sad and disappointed with our experience at this KOA. We were SO excited about spending some time at this new location - my 11 year-old son had his days of swimming and camping all planned. I had reserved a site that was full hook-ups for 4 days via their website that stated this site would accommodate the length of our RV, etc. When we arrived and were given our spot we saw that this was the most tight fit we have ever seen at any campground ever -- we have been camping for almost 10 years. The sites were literally crammed on top of each other where our neighbors were less than 5 feet from us. We disregarded that inconvenience still excited about camping. Then came the BIG ISSUES! We tried to hook up our extra long sewer hose that we have used on every one of our camping trips only to find out that it was not long enough. My husband went to the office to get some help where he was informed that someone would be out to help us. A service employee came and basically scolded my husband for not having the right length sewer hose. We were never informed that this site would need a specific extra long sewer hose length. The service person told us he would go see what he could do to help us -- guess what? He never returned. My husband inquired with the office to talk with the owner and left several messages. No response. We decided to pack it up - we may have considered staying but the staff was COMPLETELY RUDE thus far and we had already paid for full hookups and were told no other sites were available. We decided to come back home. On our way out my husband stopped at the front desk to ask if the owner was there only to be informed that the owner had just left 10 minutes earlier -- obviously our camping trip experience was not important since his campground was already full. It appears that the owner only cares about certain campers - perhaps the people that have been there many times before. We just received a call from the owner and my husband described his attitude as condescending and rude. My husband explained our situation and why we left and he said the owner only provided one word answers and was not willing to accept the advice of stating on their website that some of their campsites required extra-long sewer hoses. My husband requested a partial refund for our trip and the owner wouldn't even hear of it. If the owner ends up reading this, thank you for ruining our vacation and I hope you enjoy our money because we certainly are not. read more
