I found Garage Pro on Yelp during my quest to find a flush panel steel garage door for a modern…read morelook to my midcentury home. This was a standard option when garage shopping Los Angeles but every garage pro in the area had never sold or seen what I looking for and the closest option, which still didn't satisfy our requirements, was 2-3x the price of most doors. Fast forward to Ricky at Garage Door Pro who went above and beyond to research for options outside of his normal network. He ended up finding a Harmonn model that fit the bill, which was more reasonably priced. The new supplier had a delay and shipping issues that weren't Ricky's fault but he constantly kept tab on things for us. After a couple of months, the door arrived and Ricky delivered/installed it within a week in less than 4 hours. It came with a fresh door track, trim and other parts. So far, we haven't had any issues and I don't anticipate any but we have a 90-day service warranty and 3 year product warranty. I would definitely recommend their price competitive, high quality services to others!

They responded to my request through Yelp quickly and we scheduled something at a set price ($175) for a few days out, between 8 and 930 am. Ryan asked me to text him the address, which I did, to the number that I had received a text message via Yelp. Fast-forward to the date of service and Ryan called me, very confused, asking if I was the person that wanted a ceiling fan installed. He seemed to have no information about me other than my phone number and the job, but I confirmed this and texted him my address to a different number and he again confirmed the time period. At 953, nearly a half hour after the window, I texted Ryan at the other number, asking if someone was coming. 20 minutes after that, Les arrived. At 11 am, Ryan texted me to ask "Did he make it out there." I confirmed that Les was here. I want to say that Les was very nice, but this is where things really went downhill. He struggled to find the right breaker for the bedroom where the fan was to be replaced and ultimately had most of the house turned off while he worked. In his defense, the panel is older and not well-labeled. Had he been on time, I could have helped him test which one was the correct one, but given his tardiness, I had meetings to dial into for you. Thankfully I had a hotspot I could use while I worked without internet. After my meeting, I stopped down to check on Les, standing on my bed, with his shoes still on. To a certain extent, I get it, the bed is large for the room, but that seemed like a poor choice to make, in my opinion. He said he was good and I told him that I was free of meetings for a while if he needed anything from me. Two hours later he came to see me, sweaty and defeated. He said he could not figure out how to install the fan (an Atomi ceiling fan from Costco, one that our neighbors behind us had installed in 90 minutes from another company) and that Ryan would be calling me. Les left the ceiling fan box on my bed, parts and garbage from the box spread out across my dresser, parts on the floor, and the old ceiling fan in the middle of the dining room. After he left, I noticed that he also left a stain on our driveway. Ryan called later and apologized for the issue but said he wasn't sure when he could be out. He offered late that evening, but that time didn't work for us so he said unless he had a cancellation, it would be "sometime this weekend." Part of my expected not to hear from him again. Three days later, on Saturday morning, Ryan texts me to confirm him coming at 11 a.m. I told him that he hadn't provided a time but 11 was fine. He then asked to change it to Sunday between 10 and 11. I told him that I could just find someone else to do this work and he responded that "today was fine, it sounded like you had something going on." At this point it felt like I was in an SNL skit and I reiterated that this had been a terrible experience and I would find someone else, between the mess and the stain in our driveway. Ryan replied, "That's fine." Update: Ryan came back and did the install at no cost. He also offered us a GFCI outlet with USB ports, but it wasn't something we necessarily needed but we thanked him for the offer. Our garage door was literally hanging on one side after I attempted to close it. Now I'm running late and have to call my family to push back our date. Then it's the hubs! I had to get him up from his nap to tell him the garage door is hanging off. Great way to start the new year! So me being an Elite, I always rely on Yelp! I searched for garage door repair, found this company with top reviews, and gave them a call. There isn't any negative feedback in this review. 1-4 are all positive. Want details, keep reading! 1. Initial Call / Operator I called the office and a young lady answered. She was very pleasant, took all my information, and told me a technician would come out to provide a free quote within three hours. She also asked how I found them, and I let her know it was through Yelp. 2. Timeline of Arrival The technician, Angel arrived earlier than the initial timeline. He called beforehand to let me know he was on the way and would be arriving sooner, which I appreciated. We needed to get the garage fixed as quickly as possible so that worked out for us. 3. Technician Angel explained that he could repair it, but it would basically be a band-aid fix. Our tracks were bent and there was another issue, so we'd likely run into the same problem again. He offered to replace the garage door right then, which made us happy since we store important items in our garage. Unfortunately, he didn't have our door type on his truck and it had to be ordered. We scheduled installation for Monday. 4. Installation Angel arrived Monday as planned. He told me the process would take about two hours to remove the old door and install the new one. He was true to his word. It actually took a little less than two hours. He also gave recommendations based on the slight pitch of our foundation and shared tips for 6 month maintenance. He was friendly, professional, and cleaned up after himself. To answer your question.... YES!! I would absolutely call them again for any garage repairs and would recommend them.
