His bedside manner is professional and diplomatic, very important for a patient with his pants down, so to speak. Almost all sub-specialists are well educated and trained, the real difference in outpatient clinics is the support staff. Human beings in the office here answer the phones during business hours and are helpful and polite. The nurse and technicians working with the urologist are good, thorough and seem to be well trained. I only have two minor complaints, and both aren't limited to this clinic as these are minor problems through out the industry. First, and more irritating, I don't understand why none of the new 21st century communication technology is known to American medicine. I just easily scheduled my garage door repair (Springman, very good by the way) by email. For this and almost all medical offices, I have to play a very annoying game of 20th century phone tag. This is difficult for someone who works too much and time consuming especially since I work in buildings that don't have good phone reception. Not to mention my voice mails fill up daily with nuisance and nonsense. Second, and again quite common in medical clinics, only the physician gets to be Dr. I get demoted to Mr. I know most of you think I'm being pretentious but damn that doctorate was hard for me. It cost millions of dollars and thousands of innocent lives. I earned that title. And if there's a time I need a modicum of respect and a tiny little foundation of dignity, it's during a urological exam. I honestly hope you don't know what I mean but when men get to be a certain age....

So I called them like the sheet said. They said, "call your primary care doctor". Now I'm thinking, "your sheet could have said that, I figured ya'll knew something". A year and several procedures later with another Dr, and the eColi is now gone. I felt like a bad salesman. I tried several times to speak to the Dr, but the RN/front desk kept intercepting my calls & wouldn't allow me to speak with him. I even faxed him. That got intercepted!

He literally saved my…read morelife and has continued to go above and beyond for what has been a very complicated and emotional journey with stage 4 endometriosis and infertility. I first met Dr. Shashoua after a failed embryo transfer that left me septic, internally bleeding, and in critical condition. I was so sick that I didn't fully understand what was happening -- I was truly dying. Dr. Shashoua stepped in with the urgency, skill, and calm confidence that only an exceptional surgeon can bring. He performed the emergency operation that saved my life, and I will forever be grateful. After stabilizing me, he did something that shows how deeply he cares about his patients: he referred me to a far better fertility doctor because he knew I needed more specialized and attentive care than I had previously received. That referral changed everything for my fertility journey. A few months later, he performed my endometriosis excision surgery and removed my tubes. These were major, life-altering procedures, and he approached every decision with precision, empathy, and extraordinary expertise. I now see him regularly to monitor and manage my endometriosis and infertility, and he continues to provide the highest level of care. What sets him apart is how closely he works hand-in-hand with my fertility doctor, ensuring that every aspect of my treatment is coordinated. My case is extremely complex and often overwhelming, but he has never once made me feel like a burden. He treats me with compassion, respect, and true dedication. If you have endometriosis, fertility challenges, pelvic pain, or any complicated gynecologic or urologic condition, Dr. Shashoua is the doctor you want in your corner. He is an extraordinary surgeon, an exceptional physician, and someone who genuinely cares about his patients' lives and futures. I owe him mine.

Blood in urine (normal) I had to be admitted to get the pain under control with torodol and fentanyl. It still took 6 hours to subside. Released the next day with a hospital visit from another doctor from the practice. Dr. Ludowsky performed my procedure. Dr. KEUER scheduled. me for the same repeat surgery 14 days later and informed me I would have to have this done at least 4x. No bedside manner, no concern with what happened with a 20 min. Procedure OUTPATIENT. My discharge papers said to make a followup appointment and to be seen within a week. I called and they had nothing available. Than they suggested a video call. Than found time to see me at an office 1 hour from my home to test for a uti. Also one prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy. This was a rush rush procedure. No care taken. 5 days later and im still suffering from lower stomach cramping, light headed and dizziness. And was told after procedure I could return to work the following day. No restrictions. Seriously, I'd like to induce the same level of pain I've been experiencing onto these doctors. Maybe their roles of compassion and caring would improve. I was also asked for a major credit card number before the procedure to be sure the doctor was paid. And the bill had not been submitted to medicare yet. Im not happy with them having access to a credit card number.
