Easily the best vodka sauce I've had. Loved the caesar salad (not sure who their source is for parmesan, but that's some good stuff!). The casserole's broth is a little too fishy, but still good. I've read several reviews of this place prior to coming in, I especially paid attention to the not-so-flattering ones to keep my expectations low. I however was surprisingly impressed from the minute my girlfriend and I walked in. We were greeted by a friendly host who sat us immediately and tended to our drink preferences as soon as we sat. Even the bartender went out of his way to insure we were satisfied with the drinks he made for us. I ordered an "off-the-menu" dish, The spaghetti lobster, and it was as good as it sounds. The lobster bites were cooked through but yet still so tender and the pasta al dente and perfectly seasoned. My girlfriend ordered the rack of lamb and braised in that balsamic sauce made it sweet and savory at the same time. All in all, from the service, food, and ambience (which I might add was heightened by the terrific live music provided), I highly recommend this place. We shared a few appetizers-charcuterie board, Brussels sprouts, and grilled octopus. They were all fantastic. We did a staycation and grabbed dinner here with our two kids. Outdoor seating was nice and alongside the lake. Seated right away, food came very quickly as well. Such a great setting but unfortunately after two attempts we have left completely disappointed. Our last visit was for dinner and each of our 4 different dishes came with the same veggie mix and roasted potatoes. There was nearly no flavor to any of the food (steak, salmon, and veal). We had good service, he felt really bad for the lack of quality and we had to send back our Escargot because again, no flavor and just in a puddle of butter. We really wanted to like this restaurant because of the location and setting but the chef really needs to create meals that are unique and that have more flavor for this place to be any good. Two stars because of the great location and the good server we had, otherwise it would be 1 star. read more

I was just here last Sunday 03/03 with a date. I didn't dine here that day but I have eaten here about 7 Times over the last few years. The food is good and the service is usually pretty good as well. I was sitting with my girlfriend at one of their patio tables (one of the many empty tables) on a Sunday afternoon and we were here for about 7 minutes enjoying our cups of gelato when a short, fat, bald headed man came out looking frustrated and told us to leave if we weren't going to be paying customers. I could see if this was LA, the strip, NYC, or somewhere that was busy and actually had customers eating here. Most of the times I've been here in the afternoons, it's been dead. Nobody was dining in the restraunt either. It usually takes about 10-15 minutes to finish a scoop of gelato and I can see the man's frustration with not having any customers, but we were just about finished with our gelato's anyways. I just feel like he was envious of us and needed to come interrupt us instead of tending to his restraunt duties and minding his own business and work on getting more customers in the time it took for him to tell us off. The gelato place borders this Restraunt so I imagine this man is frustrated quite often and makes a hobby of running future potential customers off instead of trying to upsell the Restraunt or find other ways to gain business. If I hadn't eaten here before, I wouldn't want to come back in the first place, if this is how I'm going to be treated for not making a mess, hurting anyone and just trying to enjoy a nice view for a few minutes. read more

We celebrated my daughter's rehearsal dinner here in October and it was fantastic. We were a party of 26 and were sat in the wine room by all the beautiful wine and wine ambiance. It was lovely. It's a small restaurant but they were so attentive. I especially LOVE the older (sorry) female waitress (she may be more than a waitress because she has a lot of authority and input). She has the coolest dry sense of humor and is super charming. I wish I could remember her name but this was in October. Anyway, the food was DELICIOUS. They have a dedicated group menu but allowed us to make a change to the dessert menu we offered. Here are my favorite things off that menu--all of it. It was a wise decision on my part to choose them for our event. Now, it was very hard to schedule our event with them. After many tries via phone and email, I finally just went in to speak with them in person and also ate lunch there (excellent cappuccino). Setting up the event in person took no time at all. They're such gracious people. Oh! Great cocktail and wine selection. I don't have any good pictures. I just checked and they're all blurry and everyone looks a little too tipsy. We had so much fun! For what we paid this joint should be a 5 star restaurant. My steak had a funny taste and the side dish was served cold. My husband ordered the parm crusted chicken, it tasted like seafood. For dessert we had the cream brûlée and that was just a sad vanilla pudding with sugar on top, there was a ton of sugar that wasn't torched so just raw sugar on top. We didn't have a reservation but only waited 20 minutes to be seated! The service here is amazing- the servers are very attentive and welcoming. Just went here post quarantine. All the staff except the girl buzzer had face masks around their neck and nowhere near their mouth. They didn't have disposable menus. They sat all tables next to each other. The bartender didn't know how to make anything (classic drinks) and didn't look up recipes but asked guest what's in it. Ordered one dish without capers and was sent out with capers, waiter said "sorry that's how it comes I'll scrape it off." Food was okay nothing to write home about. The ambiance is really nice, indoors and out. It's a bit pricey. The French onion soup was lacking in flavor and disappointing, but the mushroom soup was excellent. Wow! What amazing service and food- the Italian gentleman that waited our table was so gracious and polite. We had such a nice afternoon while the kids played at the Aqua park. The atmosphere was lovely, definitely an Italian bistro. We sat outside in the shade, but inside there is a wine room where you can enjoy a meal as well. They have a pretty long wine menu. Let's just start off by saying that this place is beautiful. Then again, any place next to Lake Las Vegas and in Montelago Village would get this atmosphere boost. The patio, where we were seated was adorned with fire pits, fire columns, and strung with lights. In our spring time weather, it was perfect. The service was on point and the waiter was knowledgeable although I wish he knew a bit more about wine and what would pair best with what we got. That being said, his recommendations worked since I'm not a wine snob lol. Speaking of food, I got one of their specials, the pork shank osso bucco with pappardelle pasta. While this wasn't the best osso busso or even pork osso busso I have had, there was definitely nothing wrong with it. It was incredibly tender and fell off the bone immediately upon my fork touching it. The sauce was good and simple and the noodles were a nice accompaniment. My date got the salmon which she said was very good. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely go back again. I will say though that the prices are a bit high. I wanted to get a salad or appetizer but once I saw the prices I decided I had better not. I'm not saying it's not worth it, I'm just saying I think the location and scenery jack the prices up a bit. read more
