After multiple emails and Instagram DMs, I made the trip from West Palm Beach to Miami with the understanding that I would be able to meet with the owner, Cynthia. This purchase was meaningful to me, and I had specifically inquired about meeting her. Despite her very active presence on Instagram--where she is shown personally assisting customers and helping coordinate baby outfits--I was told she would not be available. When I arrived, I noticed several women in the back working on sewing and monogramming, but I was eventually approached by Isabella. If she is meant to be representing the brand as a salesperson, there is definite room for improvement. She was unengaged and unhelpful--I had to pull all the information out of her myself. She did not offer additional outfit options or accessories, nor was I shown monogram styles. When I asked if they could email me the monogram for approval, I was told to simply look on Instagram. Later, I received a text message from an unknown number with a photo of the finished product. The layout of the lettering was incorrect, and the monogram included indentations I was never shown or approved. When I raised this concern, the person texting me simply replied that it was already done and could not be changed. No solution or accountability was offered. I also purchased a pillow for $75, only to find on their website that the pillow and blanket are listed together for that same price. This is very misleading. When I brought up all of these concerns and again asked to speak with Cynthia, I was told she would not be calling me back and that I was "interrupting her vacation." Cynthia is a small business owner, and I think it's incredibly rude and unprofessional to tell a paying customer--especially one spending over $300--that they're disturbing her time off. For someone so visible on social media, presenting herself as hands-on and personally involved, I expected more personalized care and customer service. Instead, I was given none of what is shown online. Cynthia portrays on her Instagram that shopping at Caprillina is a whole experience--well, I'm here to tell you, it's not. We have the Chameleon 3 and the Runner and in all likelihood will be selling them in the next year. We needed the cup holder and later discovered that the Runner required separate purchases of the adapters to fasten the seat / bassinet. They have all of the Bugaboo optional accessories here and if not are able to order them. This store carries a lot of high end baby products from clothes, toys, strollers, car seats and may other things you might not have considered. Customer service was very good and attentive. If they seem a little eager it's probably because they are eager to help! It's not hard to say "I'm just browsing." When I called ahead to get my adapters they had them sitting on the register counter waiting for me even though I didn't ask them to hold it. Now that's a little extra service.

The employees recommended the BabyArc car seat that was on display. I loved the colors and even did a quick search for its safety ratings, which looked great, so I purchased it based on their recommendation and assurance that it rotated. Fast forward to now, when it's finally time to install the seat, I carefully read the manual and discovered that the car seat does NOT rotate as I was promised. I immediately called the store to explain the situation, but instead of trying to make things right, I was told that because I received a discount, the sale was final and no refunds or exchanges would be allowed. I understand stores have policies, but this was not a case of buyer's remorse, it was a purchase made based on incorrect information provided by their staff. Parents rely on baby stores for accurate guidance when purchasing important safety items for their children. Unfortunately, I feel misled and unsupported.
