But to my families dismay I still wanted Mexican! Luckily and to our surprise we found this little gem in a strip mall. From the outside it appears a little sketchy but in our experience that's where we've found the best, most authentic Mexican food in the past. Upon entering, the sounds of mariachi fill the air and the walls covered in colorful murals. The staff was friendly and greeted us with their masked smiles This is an EXPRESS restaurant, which means you order at the counter and wait for your food to be delivered to your table. The food came quickly & The taste definitely makes up for the slight lack of atmosphere. I ordered the Beef Chimi (it was a tough decision between that and the Carne Asada) YUM, seasoned beef, inside a perfectly fried tortilla covered with cheese! The rice and beans were also very tasty and cooked perfectly. I didn't get a pic, I didn't even think about it I was too busy yumming away with each bite! *kids review: "it was dab lit fam squad" (that means really good) they ordered non-mexi chicken wings and a burger.

Chicken seemed okay but there was so much cheese that it didn't hold together well, maybe it was cut into too many pieces though. The pineapple salsa on the side was so good though! I really loved the atmosphere here, the seating is mixed between indoor and outdoor, half of the outdoor seating is grad a drink while you wait, but again, everyone is so nice that you barely notice the wait! A little caution with sitting outside is that bugs/flies do really wanna taste your food too which can be annoying but there's nothing you can really do about it. Our wait was estimated to be 1 hour 15 minutes, but we were seating in around 45-50 minutes. I was surprised with how busy it was on a Tuesday night, but it is the week of 4th of July!
