I should say that massage here is not the best, it was ok. Although the place is clean and they claim to have different massage types, I felt the massage was not professional, though the price was comparable to the one with a skilled masseur who knows the techniques to address the particular issues. It felt rushed at times, for the most part it was done with elbows, thus some of sore muscles were not targeted. If you have sore muscles I recommend to find another place. read more

The location was easy to find in the Times Square Shopping Center. I was very impressed by their prices- with microdermabrasion facials for just $50. They also have a bunch of other spa services, including massages, reflexology, waxing and more. They have ample space set up for manicures and pedicures and seemed to be very clean. Not impressed.... A friend of mine lives close to Mimosa Nails and had received a coupon in the mail, so I decided to try it with her. Grand Parkway is a nice area so of course it's not bad looking. They are a bit pricey which I guess they can get away with because of the area. Manicure's start at $12. Pedicure's start at $22. They have a deluxe pedicure option that has a lot of great stuff like the paraffin wax, massage with hot stones, some blue mask stuff they put on your legs and then wrap a hot towel around each leg; the deluxe is $30, which isn't bad considering what all you get. But..... I do NOT like to be forced into getting the more expensive option. Honestly I go every so often to get my nails done, I'm not an every week or every other week nails kind of girl. So I wanted to just do the regular pedicure b/c all the extra frills is not that important to me. But the lady was a bit pushy with the deluxe, she even said "the regular does nothing! It's not worth it, deluxe is much better and only $8 more". I really did not like that, in the end it's my decision so I shouldn't feel forced into anything. But of course I just went with it b/c my friend was also doing that option. In the end it was a good pedicure, did I need all of that-no, was it nice-yes, so whatever. Then the manicure, I had a man do the manicure which was fine, but he was just SOOOO gentle it was kind of annoying. It was defiantly not the best manicure I've ever had. He did well with the shaping and cuticle cutting, but I did not like the way my nails were painted. There was paint left on some of my skin and when I told a diff. lady about it no one ever fixed it, she just walked away (it looked like she was on a break), nevertheless, I walked out of there with no one making an attempt to fix it. Also, if your going to name your company mimosa nails at least offer mimosa's when we get there, and you should probably have at least decent mimosa's. They used andre's which is fine I use it too lol. But I swear they were not using OJ! I didn't see it but I would bet money that they were using sunny d. Come on that is really not orange juice! And we just got a tiny glass with what looked like a shot in it. I finished that in less than 5 min. and was never offered another. Have been going there to get my nails done for over a year. My nail tech, Tammy left. I had 1 refill and they did "okay". But the Saturday before Mother's Day I went in, I'll never go back! Horrible job. I asked for pearl tips, as always. I got glitter! My cuticles were so badly nicked, they bled. It's taken until now for the scabs to heal! And, they don't visit with you, they talk among themselves in "their language." God knows what they're saying. Very hard to communicate with them what u want and need. So-so nail salon. Nothing special, different or spectacular except maybe they give you a free mimosa - it also tastes free, but who can complain about free, right? Anyway, I had a mani/pedi with a shellac and it lasted almost three weeks. My daughter had the same thing but hers only lasted about two weeks and then peeled off. On my next trip, the same technician did mine again and they lasted almost three weeks. I went in to get them removed and some other lady, my guess is the manager or owner, took them off. She asked why I wanted to remove them when they looked good to her. I felt that if I want to remove them I shouldn't have to explain myself. She was not happy that she had to do the work apparently (all of the other technicians were busy) and did a really lousy job. She left a bunch of shellac on my nails and I had to show her specifically where it was so that she could remove it. Now my nails look awful because she filed the shellac away. WONDERFUL place! Very relaxing atmosphere! Soft lighting, quiet whispering, no tv's, gentle music playing and good smelling products. They give you a menu with different levels of manicures and pedicures for various price levels. I believe I chose the "Paradise" which included a salt scrub and hot parafin wax treatment. They don't have the tubs with jacuzzi jets but that's because they use the plastic tub liners, which I prefer due to it being more sanitary. The massage chairs were big and comfortable, though I seemed to have trouble with the controller on mine but I was so relaxed that it didn't bother me. They have every color shellac or regular polish you can think of and you can match most, if not all of them to each other (because I like shellac on my fingers but not necessary for my toes). I also got a 10 minute neck massage (they only charge $1/minute) and it was amazing! Nice and deep tissue, with attention to pressure points and finished with hot oil and stones. My manicurist/masseuse was Lilly and she did a great job on both. Not sure the name of the technician for my pedicure, but she also did a good job except I would've liked a better massage on my feet. I don't know how technically good the masseuse is, but I enjoyed a massage that I had here using a Groupon that my husband purchased for me. I was a bit worried after reading the one poor review here of someone having a massage, so I thought I better write one to say that you don't need to worry about coming here. I searched online and found out that they accept spa cards at this location so called in to make an appointment for a pedicure. The pedicure was OK, not the best. The lady that did my pedicure was pleasant, left a smudge on the polish but didn't correct it, the lady that came by to help me get my flip flops on saw it and corrected it for me. I went to close out my bill with my spa card was told they don't accept it as they changed owners a couple months ago so no longer accept spa cards. Ummm...I told them and had to visually show them that it indeed shows they accept the spa card. The gentleman at the front initally said he called and told them to unlist him a couple months ago and said he has not idea how to redeem the card. He kept on telling me to go and use the card somewhere else. Meanwhile, the nail lady and some other ladies there kept saying they don't accept it and that I never presented it to them before the service. He finally called the card and was able to verifying the card number and denomination on the card and was able to redeem to get the funds off it. I went in for a relaxing service and ended up feeling attacked at the end when trying to redeem a spa card that clearly showed online that they accept. No apology was given. I normally go here to get my nails done and have had no problems, but recently the past 2 experiences have not been great. I went to get my nails done about a week ago and the lady was very rude and was on her phone most of the time. I normally get powder nails with tips. She was rushing to finish my nails and they were not all the same length. Also, when she did the powder, she sloppily brushed it on so the edges of my nails were not covered. All the other times I have gotten these nails it has normally taken about an hour and a half if not more, and this took her about 45 minutes. They chipped off easily and I was not happy with my experience. I would not recommend paying a expensive price for average nails. I will not go here again. read more

They do nails ok but their massages were horrible. I went into to room an waited almost 20 minutes for the woman to come in. I was freezing and uncomfortable. Then the woman preceded to put her phone next to my legs and it went off twice when she was with me. also i asked for an hour massage and i only got 50 minutes and they tried to make me pay for the hour. I thought the massage was ok until i woke up the next morning with awful back and neck pain. my legs were sore whenever i moved them. this place does not have professionals giving massages. never again will i even go there for nails read more

Not very good massage. My wife and I went here on groupon. I made app. the day before, but when we got there it seem like they were not ready for us and had to pull ladies off of doing nails to do massage. Massage lady seem to be in hurry and it wasn't the massage I am use too. My wife also asked for deep tissue and was told it would cost more money. Normally what the cost is, includes what ever type of massage you want. Also wife said she was exposed during massage, she thought her massage lady was very unprofessional. They do a regular normal pedicure, nothing spectacular but nothing negative. I would give this place zero stars if possible, I don't l ow why I did not trust my gut the first time, guess I thought I'd give them the benefit of a doubt. First, the male employee is totally clueless, the first time I went in to get a "french" shellac manicure he screwed it up and had to remove the polish twice before gettting someone to intervene. The last time I went, 4 different people worked on me, one girl satarted my nails and another finished them and a third girl started my pedi and a fourth finished it. They were so packed and had no one free to work on clients, but still kept bringing them in and turning on the pedi-spas and having them wait with their feet soaking for at least 20 minites before anyone got to them, one lady even walked out. The worst part is that when I got home and looked at my toes up close, all the toe nails were only about 7/8 of the way painted & had empty/unpainted areas on the sides/edges and one of my pinky toes was cut in a shape I can best describe as the shape of the state of Florida... There was a thin pointy piece at the end... The kicker was that it was only a "square" of it was painted so, at first glance you could not tell. I am so disgusted by this place.
