First, let me say that it is very important to do your research. That is YOUR responsibility. You should feel completely confident in your surgeon and you should be confident in your decision to have someone take a scalpel to your face. You should also view videos of others who had the same procedure(s) and you should have a very clear picture of what you are getting yourself into, including pre-op preparation and post-op recovery. It IS a big deal. I did my research for almost a year. I researched and interviewed a carefully selected set of doctors. So when I had my consultation with Dr. Constantinedes, I knew almost immediately that he was the surgeon for me. I had viewed his gallery, read all his reviews and checked out his (impressive and accomplished) background. So when I finally got to my consultation (August 2025) I was not disappointed. In fact, he exceeded my expectations. I scheduled my consultation with the idea of upper and lower bleph, a brow lift and face and neck lift. However, I was not sure I wanted to do it all at once. In fact, I was pretty sure I didn't want to. His manner is kind, attentive, measured and informative. He explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions. No rush. No dumb questions. No 'selling'. No pressure. After some discussion, he told me he doesn't do the eyes and brow at the same time he does face and neck. He does them in separate surgeries and he explained why. His reasons were completely aligned with my desires based on my research. I was relieved and started getting excited. So after a few days of contemplating, looking at my schedule and lining up the funds, I was ready to move ahead. I scheduled upper and lower bleph + brow lift for the week before Christmas so I could use the holiday time to recover and be off the daily videos calls required in my job. I knew the evening of my surgery that the results were going to be exactly what I hoped. I'm just under two weeks post-op and am healing well, This is certainly due to the careful pre-op instructions and protocols Dr. Constantinedes (strongly) recommends, to minimize bruising and promote healing. I followed (almost) all directions carefully and continue to do so. I am already looking forward to my deep plane face and neck lifts in 2026. So in summary, I would rate my results an A+ and the entire experience (staff interactions, ease, care etc) a 9/10. I would like to respond to your comment: I made an appointment Dr. Constantinides office. I asked which procedure was recommended and wen't with recommendation (SMAC) I was quoted a price and would have gladly paid 12,500 verses the 9500 quoted. MONEY was no problem. I asked for the procedure that would last the longest. I thought I was visiting a professional that would at least know what procedures they offer. I still can't figure out why the consultant would offer pricing for a doctor I have no idea whom they are and didn't have an appointment with. The common courtesy would be to tell the patient the mix up. Not tell them pay the additional charge or go away. I followed this Dr from Manhattan to Austin to get the top notch medical care He gave me in NY. I am an oral cancer survivor and went under enormous chemo and radiation treatments that left me with continuous jaw pain, spasms ,deep pockmarks in my lower face and sever lack of skin elasticity in my neck. Dr Constantinides is the ONLY physician who has managed my pain consistently while restoring my confidence by treating my face and neck with various botulinums I am very happy to give him ten stars if I could because I look GREAT and my pain in under control. I went to Dr. Constantinides (Dr. C is easier to remember for me!) earlier this year to correct breathing function and a botched Rhinoplasty/Septoplasty nearly 10 years ago. My breathing issues had been severely limiting my ability to exercise and I'd been through several misdiagnoses (had to google the plural version) in the past. You can imagine I was pretty frustrated with a series of doctors before even walking through his door. I was on the fence about revision rhinoplasty in addition to the structural airflow improvements but Dr. C was very kind and honest in dealing with my questions and expected results. I decided to move forward with the whole shibang and I couldn't be more satisfied. Here is what I know. My nose was a mess. I didn't have enough cartilage for things to function or look the way they are supposed to from the past surgery. Well, the big day came and it took longer than anyone predicted because of whatever talented arcane wizardry Dr. C performed. I can tell you, even after being explained what all had to be done a couple times, I am thoroughly impressed and confounded at what was necessary. I even got a cool printout of all the grafts that were required. It was some serious voodoo. So I'm 4 months post and I couldn't be happier. I have a doctor that explained the risks, graphically-displayed achievable results, and had a friendly staff that took my concerns seriously. Results? Well, we lined up the before/projected/after pictures. Hey guess what? Aesthetically, it's even BETTER than we thought. And I'm still healing - so its going to get even better... WTF. That's AMAZING. Consider my faith in doctoring restored. But how about breathing? I live in Austin, so nobody is allowed to breathe because of rampaging allergies. But now I actually can. I would happily trade back my old fugly nose if I could just breathe and now I really can. I can't convey in words how nice that is unless you are already suffering. So yeah, I'm outdoors playing soccer and already losing weight from being able to exercise again. So if it sounds like I'm endorsing Dr. C then that is because IT IS. 4 of 5 stars. Overall, Dr. Constantinides did a good job. I'll share the things I liked about choosing him as a surgeon and the things I felt he could do better. About me: I have the dubious honor of meeting what feels like every ENT (and ENT surgeon) in NYC. At least twelve of them. Out of all the drugs and surgeries, the only thing that seemed to help me breathe better was immunotherapy. The initial consult: Here, Dr. Constantinides stands out from the other ENTs and surgical ENTs in NYC. My initial consult with him was an hour. So he spends time with you, which is very important as a patient and usually quite rare to see in a doctor. I also liked he took time to draw hand sketches to explain what was happening with my nose. The follow-ups/pre-surgery: One thing I remember pre-surgery is that his assistant, Denise, gave me some advice about when to take anti-nausea medicine. I repeated her advice when I met with the Dr. and he felt it was the improper advice. So, he admonished her for it. I can't remember the exact language, but it was enough of a rebuke that I still remember how it made me uncomfortable. I wish he had spoken to her privately and had taken a less harsh tone. The other instance where I felt uncomfortable as a patient was when he met me in scrubs in the pre-operating room. I asked if he could repeat the risks of the procedure, to which he responded, "are you serious?!?" I wanted to make sure nothing was left unsaid because of a prior experience, which Dr. Constantinides would have been aware, in which I felt I wasn't made adequately aware of a risk with surgery. He repeated the risks of the procedure. Then he said, "Don't' worry. You're in good hands - I'll do a great job." This made me feel better and calm my nerves before the procedure. The surgery and recovery: Surgery is always an ordeal. I had a difficult time recovering. I think I was given too much anesthesia and my body had a difficult time processing it. I couldn't hold any solid food, not even Jello, for maybe 60 hours after the surgery. During the follow up visit the next day, the Dr. told me that eating wasn't critical, but I must maintain fluid intake with water and Gatorade. This was helpful advice for me to recover. The result: My nose is much improved. I had a moderate septal bridge collapse, a saddle nose, and now it looks minor at most. While the line on my nose isn't a completely straight line from top to tip, the bridge depression is far less pronounced than it was prior to surgery. So while it's not perfect, it's much improved. I was choosing from three of the most experienced ENT plastic surgeons in NYC - Dr. Constantinides, Dr. Guida and Dr. Pearlman. It came down to cost and where I felt most comfortable. Dr. Pearlman had recommended a procedure which I felt would be too invasive, removing all remaining septal tissue and reconstructing the septum with a PDS plate. Dr. Guida offered a similar procedure to the one I had done - an ear cartilage graft to lay over the septum. Would I have had a better result with Dr. Guida? Possibly, although it's impossible to know. Other comments: One frustration post-surgery was the delay in deposit reimbursement. After my insurance processed the claim, and I must give Dr. Constantinides credit for going back and forth with the insurance on my behalf, it took an inordinately long time to be reimbursed. It was frustrating because I was initially told it wouldn't take more than three months. Three months had passed and I hadn't heard anything. When I followed up, the Dr. told me that his biller had experienced "bookkeeping issues". It was only after I sent a particularly frustrated email did I see some response, and within a few weeks I received a call from Denise that the check was ready. read more

I just saw Dr. C for the first time yesterday. I'm very impressed so far with his patience, staff, and work performed. He took the time to make me comfortable with the procedure even though it was minor in the grand scheme. It's too soon to judge the final results, but I'm thrilled so far. His nurse/PA and the front desk staff were awesome. Someone in another office had accidentally cancelled my appointment. The front desk staff immediately looked into it, got me back on the schedule for the same time, and never made me feel like an inconvenience. An added bonus is the beautiful aesthetic of the office. For years I had been talking about improving my under eye area. I was tired of looking tired and done with people asking me if I was tired. That is when I decided it was time to take action. I spent days researching the different procedures and doctors in the Austin area. After numerous phone calls I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Constantinides office. The initial consult: During my initial consult everything was explained to me in detail. They went through all options, payments, financing, and past client results with me. They were not pushy or trying to lock me in to anything I was not ready for. This initial consult was extra confirmation that I was ready for this procedure and confident that I choose the right place. I booked that day before leaving. Pre-surgery: Alyson went through all documents with me during this visit. She was very thorough and made sure I was comfortable with everything. This was very overwhelming only because there is so much pre-work to do in the days leading up to the surgery. All documents provided were extremely helpful and I knew exactly what to expect. After she was finished Dr. C came in and went over any other questions I had. Both Alyson and Dr. C were great even with my crazy questions (I watch a lot of plastic surgery shows), but reassured me that I would be extremely happy with the results. The surgery and recovery: I had the lower eyelid and a deep chemical peel done. My lower eyelid surgery was done from the inside, so I was left with no scars. The chemical peel is done to reduce any additional lines and wrinkle that may appear after a this particular procedure. I have never had anything like this done before so I was expecting to be in pain and out of commission for a while. After the surgery I went home and immediately started to follow post surgery duties. After I woke up from my nap I surprisingly felt great. By this time the local anesthesia had worn off, but I was in no pain. Never once did I have to take the prescribed pain medication, so that was a plus. The only problem I had was that the peel went too deep around my left eyebrow. I was about 70% healed from the peel except in this area. That is when the pain started. That one area was throbbing like a bad headache all day and night. When I woke up the next morning and was still in pain I decided to call the after hours line. They asked if I wanted them to page the doctor, which was a tough call because it was 5 am, but at this point i was scared and in pain. Dr. C called me within minutes and told me to come to the office that morning. I was in there crying and thinking the worst, but Dr. C and Alyson calmed me down and reassured me that everything would be fine. They cleaned the area and went over what needed to be done on my end in detail. I apologized for waking him up that early in the morning, but he just laughed and told me it was fine. He even had me come in the following morning just to make sure I was doing fine. Once the scab came off Dr. C provided me with additional products to ensure I would not have a scar in that ares. Other than this one issue my recovery went exactly how they explained it would go. Follow-Ups: Every follow up appointment was positive. It allows you to go over any concerns and they are able to reassure you that your healing is on schedule. I am still amazed on how professional the staff is when people come in after procedures. I looked like a beat up panda bear, but they made me feel beautiful. The result: My results are everything I expected and I am so happy with how it turned out. While I may feel tired on the inside I look well rested on the outside and that was my ultimate goal. Other comments: The entire staff at the South location is amazing. They are polite, helpful, and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. C and his staff. I have since gone back for other procedures and extremely happy with the results as well. Approximately 6 months ago Dr. Constantinides performed my upper blepharoplasty and I absolutely love my results! I continue to be thrilled every time I look in a mirror. My eyes look so natural most of my friends and family do not even realize I had this surgery. Most compliments I receive refer to how great and well rested I look! My care was top notch and I surprisingly had little to no pain. Both Dr. C and his nurse Lauren made me feel so comfortable and provided detailed explanations before during and after my procedure. I had an horrendous revision Rhinoplasty (actually two) by Dr Constantinides. I went to see Dr Minas Constantinides in May 2013 on the advice of a doctor I had seen for another procedure. The consultation went well, I thought he was a nice man, polite and seemed to know what he was talking about. His staff were also very nice and accommodating. I had a Rhinoplasty when I was about twenty years old. I had no problems with it and the only issue with my resulting nose over the years was that it was quite runny a lot of the time. I went to see Dr Constantinides because over the years the cartilage seemed to have moved a bit, it was quite sharp and pointed on the tip and if I had a cold and rubbed my nose a lot it would feel like it was going to break through. One side of my nose looked a bit more flat than the other more bulbous side. I wanted it evened up a bit and the cartilage in the tip fixed. I had no breathing problems and my nose was straight. He said he could correct my concerns. At the same time, I'd started to see some hollowness around my eyes and asked if there was anything he could do about that. He said a mid-face lift would help. I decided to go for the two procedures. I googled him, there were good and bad reviews but then every doctor seemed to have the same. I went ahead with the surgery and paid $26,400.00, in advance, as requested for a revision Rhinoplasty and a mid-face lift. The surgery, went fine as did my recovery. When the cast came off my nose looked huge, this enormous bulbous, crooked looking mess. He assured me that it was swelling and it would all come down. After weeks and then months of visits, steroid injections and waiting, it settled a bit but was still very, very big and on top of that I couldn't breathe properly through either nostril. I was very patient with Dr Constantinides, I never got angry or frustrated with him, just trusted what he said to me that it was healing as it should, and he never said to me or indicated that there was a problem. I was devastated and found myself crying virtually every day, I couldn't look in a mirror and not tear up. I did my makeup as fast as I could in the mornings and wouldn't look at myself again until the next day. I grew my fringe out and hid behind my hair and became very self conscious. I avoided cameras at all costs. I cried myself to sleep many, nights. I went back to Dr Constantinides in January of 2014. He admitted that the result wasn't what we had hoped for so we scheduled another surgery for the next month (with additional costs of about $5,000). When I gave Dr Constantinides the benefit of the doubt and allowed him to do the second surgery, he made a point of saying he was 'happy to do it and he wanted me to know that'. He generated a computer image that he said would be attainable and he told me how he was going to do it. I didn't expect my nose to look exactly like that picture, but at that point something close would have been fine. The surgery went fine as did my recovery. From the moment the cast came off after the second revision and I looked in the hand mirror he gave me I could see my nose was not straight, it was very obvious. It was horribly crooked. After a couple of days the deviation got worse and I still couldn't breathe. I also had a bump now running down my nose that I didn't have before. Again weeks and months of visits and steroid injections but the damage is done and then came a lot of excuses that doctor from 23 years ago was responsible for my problems. Dr Constantinides certainly didn't lead me to believe it would be a difficult or problematic surgery on either occasion. And I understand that when he got in there things may have been different than he was anticipating, but he NEVER said at any time to me after the first surgery what he wrote in a later email response that - 'the scar that formed was so massive', the cartilaginous structure was so weakened and devastated, my nose was too scarred' - there was NOTHING said after the first surgery about my nose having been in such a horribly bad state. Going into the second surgery, if it were in fact true, it appears he knew that. It certainly would have made me ask more questions and think twice about how to proceed with another surgery had I known. In May 2014 we began to discuss options and compensation which initially he was cagey about but then agreed to pay me $15,000.00 so I could see another doctor to have surgery. Obviously not at all the outcome I expected. It has been the worst cosmetic surgery experience I have ever had. Something I thought would be a little tidying up has turned into an almost two year nightmare for me. I wish I had never done it. I have paid Dr Constantinides over $30,000 in total. So far he has made excuse after excuse not to pay me the money he promised he would saying his practice has been very slow - TAKE THAT AS AN ADDITIONAL WARNING. read more

I saw Dr. Constantinides to ask him about fixing a mistake a previous doctor made. Dr. C spent nearly two hours with me, spending more time than the doctor who had previously done the surgery with me had done. He was very thoughtful and analytical, and ultimately gave me his advice on what he felt were the three best options for me. The very best option, he told me, was a procedure he doesn't do, but even though he wouldn't be making any money from me on it, he wanted to give me the best advice. i really appreciate it and wish the doctor who had actually done my surgery was more like Dr. Constantinides. read more

I've spent over 20 years being unhappy with my deviated septum, and during that time I did exhaustive research to find the right surgeon. It wasn't until I came across Dr. C that I felt comfortable moving forward with the operation. His background is extremely impressive and extensive, he is one of the most highly regarded and respected facial plastic surgeons in the world. There is only one other surgeon in Houston, Dr. C's contemporary, that I would've considered. Dr. C is not only sought after by patients, but by medical professionals and fellow surgeons. He is often asked to speak, share his medical knowledge and insight to various medical boards, societies, and academies. As the former head of facial plastics and reconstructive surgery for NYU Med school, I felt extremely comfortable in his hands. I'm in the waiting room for 2 month follow up appt, and I couldn't be happier with my decision, and believe me it was a big one. My ability to breathe has been enhanced tremendously, and the appearance of my nose has been greatly improved. It's very subtle. I had a primary rhinoplasty by Dr. Constantinides 3 years, maybe 4 years ago. He actually made my nose worse, it is now less symmetrical than it was before and curves to the left. Dr.C. performed a face lift for me in February. I had many questions before the procedure, and he and his staff were patient and quite knowledgeable and seemed very concerned about my being comfortable with what I was about to have done. The surgery was done on an out-patient basis, under local anesthesia, so I recovered quickly from the anesthesia, with none of the usual side effects. During each of my follow up exams, Dr. C. and his nurse were helpful, caring, and supportive. I've never once felt that I was being rushed, or that my time wasn't as important as theirs was.They always take the time to answer my questions, address my concerns, and help me along in the recovery process. Dr. C. is a skilled surgeon, but also a very nice person whose primary concern seems to be that his patients be happy. I'm more than pleased with the results and while the complete recovery may take a few more months, I don't look like I'm recovering from surgery. I look so much better, yet I don't have "plastic face." Was it worth it? Absolutely. Would I recommend Dr. Constantinides to anyone else? Without reservation, absolutely, enthusiastically. His office is spotless and his staff is incredibly professional, warm and reassuring. I have a complicated schedule and they are always very accommodating in getting me in.
