I came for a consultation, to get my breast implants removed and a lift. When I arrived I was greeted by Jonathan at the front desk, who was very pleasant and kind. Then I was met by the doctor's assistant and quickly moved into a room to change into a robe and fill out paperwork on a tablet. The assistant, was very kind and was asking me a lot of questions. She then had me take pictures of my chest which I felt uncomfortable with. This was only a consult, so it seemed weird to me that any photography was needed. Maybe that's standard, but it wasn't at my other consultations. This process was quite long and I still had not even seen the doctor at this point. Finally, Dr. Michelle, walks in with her Louis Vuitton boots on and she shakes my hand with a stoic look on her face and sits down to discuss my plans. She didn't smile, she was very intense. My breast pictures were up on a screen on the wall and we all three just looked at them and I'm explaining what I want... then the doctor, says I need to get replacement implants if I want to look good. I was adamant that I did not want replacements and only wanted them removed. She asked me to explain why and I told her my reasons. At this point I feel like I'm at a sleepover and the Dr and her assistant are just trying to talk me into something that I know with certainty I don't want. The doctor says "There's the issue of feeling feminine after having your implants removed" and I thought to myself "My femininity is not at all wrapped up in the size of my breasts"... then she's saying how I ofcourse want to look nice, as if that's not plausible without implants. The whole thing felt very pushy and she wasn't hearing me at all. She was saying that Id have indents where my previous implant was, and it would be concave and odd... then she went on to insult my original implant surgeon by saying they were too high and she wondered if he put them like that? I was now getting defensive, because my original implants looked amazing 20 years ago. It's just that lifestyle changes and gravity had happened. Anyway, at the end she leaves the room and I'm left with the assistant again. It was very impersonal. The assistant is super friendly and the doctor is kind of cold and just comes in briefly and tries to sell her view and then leaves. So I'm sitting there with the assistant and she has me sign some things. I'm like "Oh I'm not ready to sign anything" and she says "No this is just signing and saying that we told you everything" why? Why do I need to sign saying you did a consultation? I left this place so confused and feeling so horrible. I cried on my way home and called my husband who was like "She didn't hear you, and she just wants to do what she wants and maybe she can't do what you want... so let's go with someone who can." The price tag for the surgery was about what others charge in the area, but I went with a male surgeon who happened to be less expensive, because he heard me, explained everything in detail and my results are exactly what I want! I just had to write this review and say how disappointed I was in this consult. I feel bad for anyone who is pressured into something they don't want. I was so confused when I left, but the truth is that this doctor is very flashy, materialistic, name brand wearing, and that's okay, for her. However, for me, I wanted someone to understand what's important for me. When the assistant emailed me to check in about scheduling, I let her know I needed more time and I wasn't ready. Dr. Cabret was a life saver after I got bad results from another surgeon in the area! She is incredibly smart, skilled, multifaceted, compassionate, and has a great eye for aesthetics. Additionally, every single one of her entire staff, from front desk to nursing and assistants was absolutely top notch, went above and beyond, and always made me feel comfortable and cared for. I decided to consult with Dr. Cabret because she was dual trained in maxillofacial surgery and plastic surgery, and boy am I glad I did! I wasn't quite sure what to expect and hesitant to trust another plastic surgeon after my experience with the previous surgeon, but she vastly exceeded my expectations. Not only was she super compassionate about my situation, she explained in medical detail how I got into the situation I was in, what mistakes were made, and detailed how she could fix it. She also mentioned special techniques she would employ to address the issues from the original surgery that seemed more advanced than what I'd heard from other surgeons. She even pointed out problems with the original surgery I wasn't aware of, where the surgeon had used poor technique. She really seems to know what she's doing and cares about doing things right. I'm a little neurotic, so I kept thinking of concerns about the procedure and freaking out about it. Dr. Cabret was willing to stay late on short notice and fit me into what I'm sure was a very busy day to discuss my concerns. She went into detail about how she would avoid the issues I was concerned about, and even suggested tweaks she could make for the procedure to better achieve my desired result. She also made sure to point out where there were risks with the results, which instilled more confidence and trust in what she was telling me. I went through with the procedure, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! Some of the work seemed like it required artistry to make it look right, which seemed difficult, but she really nailed it. I am super impressed! Additionally, I've had a lot of surgeries in my life, and I frequently wake up out of surgery with some random issues. For example, after one spine surgery I had damage from the catheter. I also frequently have nausea and headaches from the anesthesia. My experience at Austin Cosmetic Surgery is one of the few times I had none of these types of issues. I woke up feeling about as good as you could possibly feel after surgery. I believe it's because the doctors and staff take extra care to treat you well and be kind and gentle with your body while you're under. I'm not a medical professional, so I can't speak to the medical details, but I came away from the whole experience thinking that what she does goes far above and beyond what a typical plastic surgeon is capable of. I get the impression that she is extraordinarily skilled with impeccable technique. She also seems very multifaceted, specializing in many different types of surgery, and seems to know how to deal with tough situations. Disappointed. My first visit for Botox went really well. I return for a touch up and her staff suggested filler for my cheeks. I pad 1500 for the cheek filler and a total of 2500 for the visit. I realized several days later that my cheeks are uneven and there is much more product and much higher on one side of my face. When I returned to her office to inquire about this, she said she could even it out with more product on the other side but I would need to pay for additional product. I didn't feel comfortable spending even more money to correct the issue and honestly I feel she should have offered to correct it or dissolve some on the other side at no cost to me. They told me if I didn't buy more I could try massaging the product out of my face. I wasted 1500 and my face is uneven. I'm very disappointed. I have been getting fillers for many years and never this type of experience. I understand product is expensive but clearly it was applied very differently on each side. They blamed it on my face but frankly i believe it's your job as the doctor to understand asymmetry and make the necessary adjustments. read more

It's so important that people understand what happens to your hormones as you age and become educated on the options that are out there. After many years of wanting a breast lift we decided to go with ACS. I love the doctors and the staff they are so sweet. Before surgery during a routine Mammogram the scan there was a possible lump.
