I knew I was giving the office less than 24 hour notice and explained that out of caution I need to cancel my appointment and rebook. I received a call from the office that because of the less than 24 hour notice I was to be charged $100.00. I do understand a fee charge but as a regular customer I fell the fee is excessive. UP DATE I just received a call from Westlake dermatology, they have been my dermatology center for years, they called and said that they were cancelling my fee of $100.00, they to had seen the weather alert and that they did not feel the fee was warranted due to the circumstances. I have always been extremely happy with Westlake Dermatology and Dr. Richards. So, thank you Westlake Dermatology, I am truly a happy customer.

He also is a very poor listener. I call the last 2 years my adventures with a surgeon's ego. In my case, he did a surgery where he thought the results were amazing requesting that he could show off my case to his students. I was in horror because he neither did what I requested, nor was this a subtle change. It completely changed what I look like and people couldn't recognize me. This would be only be a success if I was trying to be in the witness protection program and wanted a new identity. I think he values very square, wide masculine jawlines. From the several other surgeons I've seen, there is a consensus that was a poor choice for a female jaw line. Plus there was a problem. This led to having a 2nd surgery. In this one, he made 2 errors that resulted in a jaw implant being improperly installed too low and the other not screwed in so it turned sideways. That let to a 3rd surgery by another surgeon. Even without the errors, I've now met with a lot of plastic surgeons. I can tell you that based on what I've learned though that, I would rank Dr. Carlotti at the bottom of the pack. Please do yourself a favor and find a better surgeon. It won't be hard. The funny thing of this is I didn't originally schedule to see him. I was scheduled to see his Dr. Michelle Carlotti. Somehow when I was waiting with the patient care person and talking about Dr. Michelle and what she typically does, Dr. Albert came in and switched me to his patient I never understood why that happened. When I was researching him after, there were mostly only positive reviews. He did have a lawsuit with a patient who aggressively put negative reviews out on him because it hurt his business. Anyway, since I had my first surgery, there are many negative reviews. From that my impression is not only is my negative experience pretty typical, but that there may not have been negative reviews because he threatened similar action if people posted their dissatisfaction. That's just the impression I have, but probably should put a legal disclaimer so he doesn't come after me for telling my experience and exposing his errors.

I will be posting the pictures of what happened to me from the other site. I am not sure how come Yelp has allowed this business to have more than one yelp page. I have scars across my pubic area and under. my breast that are abhorred. I spent nearly 30,000 with these people and have low quality results. I have been told that there would be need for a whole reconstruction for all the damage they have done. I am sickened that they are still in practice. Don't let a smile from these people deceive you. Name is actually Carlotti. She appears to be using either her maiden name or another married name. These people have places in Phoenix as well. Need to make all people aware. I even called their people back several times and was ignored. shameful.... This woman and her husband...which is who is replying is lying through her teeth. SHAME on her and all that work for her. To turn around and blame me for their inadequate treatment. Performing three additional mini surgeries in a back room area. They should all be put out of business. I in no way gained weight, in fact went from a size 14 to a size 4 in this time line because of my diet and exercise. This group of people are good at fat shaming anyone that comes into their clinic. Their assertion that I was filthy is another way to create disillusion making people feel bad. COMPLETE lies, and incompetence. And again attempting to make me feel bad for not using my full name on my Yelp screen. These people are bullies and disgusting humans. I have only ever. had a breast REDUCTION never a lift, lies there...filth...all of them absolutely filth. The scars from my prior surgery were promised to be fixed..They were not near as LaRGE as these inadequate frauds left on me. I plan on finding all the review sites that I can to cost them as much money as I can possibly can. I look into the mirror daily and see a huge indent on my breast, look down and see massive scars on my stomach, massive scars under my breasts. These are QUACKS and frauds....they will take whomever they can for their money...I was one of them and if I can just help one person choose a different direction as often I can to help them stay away from these thieves I am happy to do so. To ignore their ownership of what they did is repulsive. Instead of reaching out to repair this situation they continue to attempt to bash me. I already lost money to these people...I just want to help someone else from losing their money. https://www.yelp.com/biz/albert-carlotti-md-lakeway-2 https://www.yelp.com/biz/michelle-cabret-md-dds-lakeway https://www.yelp.com/biz/lakeway-surgery-center-lakeway?hrid=sV5qahCynGF98-yx2MaXSg https://www.yelp.com/biz/austin-cosmetic-surgery-lakeway-2

Came here early December 2025. I had gone to my OBGYN the day before going to Viks due to unnatural…read morebreast pain, swelling, & spreading redness. I left the OB completely freaked out (the on call doc when I went was absolutely awful) & not to mention, with no diagnosis or meds or anything at all. As someone who suffers from anxiety, I had a full blown anxiety attack for the next 24 hours. The following day I couldn't take it and came down the road to viks. Due to the intimate nature of my issue, I requested a female doctor but they told me they only had male; so I just took what I could get, not a huge deal. Front desk was fairly nice, filled out the papers, and they took me back fairly quickly. My doctor was Dr. Mcalasdair (apologies if i spelled that wrong). While I did originally want an ultra sound, he attempted talking me out of it. We went back and forth for a little bit but ultimately he said he was pretty confident he knew what was causing this, and while he didnt think an ultrasound was needed, he was willing to call their ultrasound person to come down and do it if I was adamant. I eventually caved and agreed to not do the ultrasound. Although he did make a little dig during our convo which I didn't appreciate (he said something along the lines of "I've been doing this for 30 years so I think I know what I'm doing). Please don't be condescending. Regardless of how long you've been in medicine, people are still allowed to advocate for themselves & their desires for their treatment. Anyway - aside from that, he was attentive and reassuring. However I've got to give it to the nurse - she really soothed me and my anxieties. She was such a sweetheart. She was maybe a middle aged lady with a British accent. She was so attentive, answered all my questions, checked on me, and when she could tell how nervous I was, she even brought me a little mini teddy bear with a viks shirt on to hold onto. No matter how old you are, little gestures like that really mean something, especially when you're scared. In the end, what I got was an IV in the arm with antibiotics. I believe it took like 45 min to fully drain. While I just sat there and waited, my nurse even brought me a heated blanket to make sure I was warm and comfortable. She was the best. They wrote me a prescription for an oral antibiotic but we were unsure if we were gonna make it on time before the pharmacy closed. On the off chance we didn't, they gave me my first pill ther so I wouldn't have to worry about missing a dose that night (in case we weren't able to get it until the next day). Thankfully we did make it to the pharmacy before they closed though. But that was really thoughtful. In the end, we ended up paying the ER price upon leaving. I haven't received any other bill in the mail so I can't speak on that experience yet... Also - the doctor called the next day to check up on me but I was unable to answer so he left a message. I called back the following day, but he wasn't busy with a patient so a message was taken. No call back. Called again the next day, he wasn't at the lakeway location, he was at another location. So I called the other viks location I was told he was at and they took a message since he was busy with a patient and told me he would call me back. He never did. I called again a day or two later back to the lakeway location and they gave me the same story and said they'd take a message but I told them I had already tried that multiple times and got no call back and told them I just wanted to speak to anyone on staff nurse or otherwise for them to answer my questions. So they put me on hold and I spoke to another doc I'm assuming, but not the one I saw, not dr macalasdair. This doc was pretty vague and dismissive with his answers. Basically it was like a couple word answers or "I can't answer that unless you come back in & we look at you again"...... mkay. He was unhelpful. Between the snarky response when I was advocating for myself in the room & the lack of call back and unhelpful response I got when I finally demanded to speak to anyone doctor on staff, that's why I took one star off. Otherwise, I had a solid experience. They fixed me and calmed my nerves at the same time. If anything goes awry with billing, I'll be sure to update my review. But for now, thanks for helping me!

Before going, I checked my Humana insurance, which listed this facility as a provider, so I arrived expecting to use my coverage. Once I arrived, I was told they do not accept insurance, which was very confusing and concerning given how they were listed under my plan. I was then informed that costs would start at around $800 or more, and according to the receptionist, they do not perform X-rays. Despite my insurance copay being $45, I was insisted upon to pay $800 upfront before any examination, without being seen by a doctor or receiving any medical evaluation. Due to the excessive cost, I declined treatment and left. The receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive throughout the interaction, which only made the situation worse. Being pressured for a large upfront payment before any care was provided raised serious concerns. Overall, between the lack of transparency regarding insurance, exorbitant pricing, and unprofessional behavior, I chose not to proceed with treatment and will not be returning. This experience left me very uncomfortable and concerned about how patients are treated here.
