Online ordering is quick and easy through the Franca's Pizzeria website, and I like that they use their own delivery drivers. The charge for delivery was only $4 which isn't bad, especially considering all the upcharges for third-party delivery services these days. I ordered ahead for a later time and it arrived a few minutes early. All the food was hot and fresh. The supreme pizza has ham, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green pepper, and onion. The hand tossed crust is a medium thickness, but they also have thick crust as an option. The toppings were plentiful and fresh, and I loved the sausage. The sauce is not overly sweet, so it gets a thumbs up from me. The cheesy bread is really good! It's not super tough or crunchy, I like that it's pillowy in the middle. You can get extra cheese, but I thought the regular amount was plenty. We also loved the caprese salad - it was super fresh, with a nice amount of fresh mozzarella and dressed nicely. It was nice to have a bit of a healthy side to go with our tasty pizza. Franca's rates slightly above Peppino's for me (my other favorite local pizza spot), mostly due to their unique toppings and specialty pizza combinations. I'm super intrigued by the campagnola: margherita sauce, caramelized mushrooms and onions, sausage, bleu cheese, tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella.
