Affordable budget Chinese takeout spot with delivery through GH, lunch specials & dinner combos. Not the best but it's ok for the price point & convenience factor. The best thing I had was the veggie chow fun, which were actually mei fun noodles but otherwise very fresh and hit the spot! The lemon chicken was good quality white meat with slightly weird pickled veggies underneath. Kids did not like the wonton soup & fried rice looked underwhelming. Came to this restaurant after visiting Rowan University and had the General Tsos. This was the best I've ever had of this plate which is what i always order when i go to chinese restaurants. Was closed when I got here after 12 PM on Monday. Kinda disappointing they're closed when yelp says they're open!

I have stopped here before the theater for an inexpensive lunch combo. The staff is very nice, accommodating and helpful. I had the chicken and snow peas combo today. You can get soup or Chinese roll or soda as an option. The lunch combo is smaller but enough for lunch. There's lots of options in Pitman but this is wonderful of you are on a budget! read more

Good but I ordered the Singapore chow fun recently and it was not what I expected. Isn't chow fun supposed to be wide rice noodles? These were thin. Otherwise the dish was pretty good with nice curry flavor and an ok but underwhelming amount of chicken and shrimp. I live at rowan u, and I always used to eat at Hunan wok... WOW did this place make me regret ever ordering from there's! Ming loks Chinese food is so much more favorable and always on time. Plus whenever I call, whoever picks up the phone is so nice. Delivery is never late and always on time. I normally don't order shrimp from Chinese food places.. But the few times I've gotten shrimp dishes from here, I've been more than happy. Tastes like they buy and cook raw shrimp rather than precook es because the shrimp is much more succulent than from other Chinese places. The egg rolls here are on the bland side.. But nothing a little soy sauce or duck sauce can't fix right up. Will be ordering from here from now on read more

Delicious "clean" non-greasy Chinese food. My daughter and I had the shrimp toast (best I've ever had), Chinese pizza (pretty good), shumai (delicious), shrimp lo mein (perfection) and sweet and sour chicken combo with fried rice (yummy). I also got egg rolls but am too full to even take another bite. I ordered on their direct website which was easy and quick. I used the restroom and it was clean enough. The customer service was very good and the prices are excellent! The total price was around $28 with tax. You can't go wrong grabbing takeout from here! read more

We used to order from here frequently years ago. We stopped because it just wasn't good anymore. Since there are limited Chinese restaurants in my area that deliver I decided to give it a try again. I don't love this place. Everything has too much sugar in it. Got it a few times thinking it was a fluke but every time the general tso chicken was like candy. I think I got the eggplant a few times as well with the same result. Please please adjust your recipes, people like slightly more authentic Chinese food these days. I have ordered from here three times. Each time it has taken over an hour to receive my food and it has been cold every time. I do not know why I keep coming back to this horrible establishment. The customer service is THE worst I have ever encountered. They make no effort to apologize for the horrible service and sound very rude. IT'S CHINESE FOOD. It takes about 10 minutes to cook. I've been eating here for 15 years. The owners are VERY CONSCIENCE and friendly. The food here is ALWAYS excellent! Everything is made FRESH and cooked to order! I have had just about everything on the menu and it is all DELICIOUS! Portions are generous too! One dinner order for me provides enough food to take home for dinner another night! Of course, there is a RARE mistake, they're human: just talk to them nicely and they are quick to correct or replace. "Maybe" 3 times in 15 years was the wrong order delivered. I've eaten at Ming Lok for over 15 years and I have no complaints. The staff are extremely friendly and polite. The food is always prepared well. Doesn't matter if food is good when they can't fill a delivery order correctly (and food was only so so).
