Kani kappa salad. Imitation crab meat, sliced cucumbers, spicy mayo dressing, and Tobiko eggs

Finally open for in door dining! Food was delicious! The kani salad was delicious and sushi was super fresh. So happy to sit down and enjoy a meal there.

So excited to find this gem. I am a big sushi lover and having this place less then five minutes away is seriously gold. The food was excellent and the staff is very nice and friendly. I guess since it's in the colder months they also offer you hot tea when they bring you water which is a very nice touch in my opinion. Cute little place that I will definitely be back to visit often.

Don't order the pad Thai. It was an eggy mess. Just stick to sushi! They only accept cc for orders over $15 which is an inconvenience since its lunch time. Terrible lunch

There were literally live bugs in my tuna roll. I implore you not to order from here. Would give it zero stars if I could.

A little pricey but consistently good food. I have never eaten inside; I have only done take out.

They have an extensive drink menu, two pages, of bubble tea, matcha, and other drinks, which we skipped this time but will definitely try next time. We started with the coconut shrimp. Very good. Light breading. Not greasy. Served with the typical pina colada style sauce. My daughter had the steak hibachi cooked medium rare. Came out perfect! Incredibly tender! She said it was like butter! The veggies were flavorful and cooked nicely. She loved the miso soup. I had the garden salad with ginger dressing to start. Was nice to have it on mixed greens for a change. And the dressing seemed to be a lot smoother and creamier than most places. I ordered the Twin Tower roll and it was sooooo good! The spicy seared tuna and salmon on top was perfect! Staff was very friendly. Restrooms clean. Plenty of parking. Safe area. This is our new go to for Sushi!

I could've sworn I already wrote a review for this place considering I've been here at least 10…read moretimes... but here we are. First off, this is exactly what this town needed. Something new, something you'd usually only find in a city. The sushi and the ramen here are both really great. Is it five-star sushi? No, of course not. I'm sure it's not fresh off the boat and being sliced up by a master sushi chef with years of training. But it is good, and they offer a lot of unique rolls. My personal favorite is the Four Seasons roll. The only bummer right now is that they don't offer a brown rice option. This spot is not even a block away from the gym, and I feel like having lighter options like that would go a long way for people looking for a good post-workout meal. My go-to here is the tonkotsu ramen, it's my favorite. My family loves the udon soups, but I personally stick with the ramen. They also offer soba noodles, which I haven't tried yet. And somehow, I still haven't tried any of the slushes or teas. I've had drinks like that before, but since I usually come here trying to keep things on the lighter side, I haven't fully committed to the calorie hit. That said, they're clearly the most popular item, they're front and center on the menu, and almost every table has one. Taro milk tea has always been my favorite in the past, but that cocoa mango is definitely calling my name... maybe in the spring. I also have to mention the ambiance: it's really nice. The space is clean, well-lit, and plays peaceful music. It's not overly loud, which I really appreciate. Of course, it gets packed on Friday and Saturday nights, but honestly, that's a good sign. I hope they stay busy, it means we keep getting quality ingredients and a great new spot in town.

Enoki and egg soup is my favorite appetizer. Light broth with umami and perfect saltiness. My second favorite appetizer is agedashi tofu. So silky like pudding with light teriyaki broth. Beef roll up with scallions: beef is tender with some kind of sweet teriyaki sauce. It's pretty good. Eggplant filled with ground chicken. It looks appealing but unfortunately a bit too greasy. The sushi here is very special. The sushi rice is silky and moist. The fish piece is bigger than the rice. The eel is a must try here. It's very big compared to the rice underneath it. It very flavorful too. Mt entree is steamed salmon with seafood broth. I recommend squirting the lemon to the broth to make it taste like yuzu sauce as it lightens the whole dish and makes it less fishy.

PRO: I will say, if you want a place where you can sit and have a conversation, dark mood lighting (especially forgiving if the last time you saw each other alot was 20 years ago! - LOL), Sagami is an excellent choice. PRO: They don't rush you out - take your time. It was a Thursday night, so not especially busy when we came at 6:30 PM. CON: I could not find an updated menu online - I'm one of those people who like to peruse a menu in advance. I started with a vegetable tempura appetizer ($10) - excellent, light, airy, tasty. My main was the dragon roll - very tasty. Service was quite nice. Appetizers came out almost immediately, the rolls took a lot longer to get to our table. This is the kind of place where you're not paying to fill up your belly - but if you do, expect to shell out some bucks.

Fuji is one of those spots you leave already planning your next visit. Solid food, good energy, and no gimmicks--just a reliable go-to when you're craving Japanese done right.

A stormy night when our first options were either crowded or far too expensive ($40 for a buffet,…read morereally?)! So, Mt. Fuji was calling ... and Mt. Fuji's warm welcome and superb sushi clearly were the right choice once again! When you walk into this classic Japanese restaurant you can choose to head to the noisy Hibachi grill section where the chefs entertain, or you can choose the side where the sushi chefs are working their magic within view. What I really like is the wall ... if you want to enjoy a quiet meal of sushi and sashimi the wall keeps the comic performance from disturbing your tasting of the fresh seafood. Speaking of fresh seafood ... oh my! Each bite of our sushi offered that fresh flavor of the sea that you expect when eating raw fish. My specialty roll's flavors were so good ... SOOOOO GOOD!!!!! And, the regular rolls provided the simplistic tastes of the fish of choice. The service was outstanding, and it was hard to miss the staff's interaction with other customers. When you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile. You are checked on regularly but not overwhelmingly and your tea is refilled as needed. Finally, another mark of a quality restaurant that we have never tried but was clearly evident was the number of take out orders awaiting to be picked up. We saw smiling customer greeted by staff members as they picked up their take out. So, if you are confused by the choice of a buffet that will cost you $40 versus a quality restaurant where the food is made for you at half the price ... well, I made the right choice and you should too!
