Filthy uninviting hole in the wall. I was charged over $14 for crappy vegetable fried rice. Should have fasted instead. Granted the bar for Chinese food in the Catskills is set exceedingly low, but I can't imagine ever revisiting this dump. read more

Good standard take out Chinese place. A bit overpriced, but as far as I can tell it's the only Chinese food place in the area. The friend rice was very bland, and the pork dumplings were delicious. Just a heads up, they only take cash! read more

Every now and then you get a 3 star meal, but most of the time everything is cooked well and it's super tasty. Try the scallion pancakes.

Ordered Take-out last year @ this establishment and it was good! Something happened since last year! We come to the Catskills twice a year. Ordered food on May 26, 2021. The food was absolutely awful. Sweet and sour chicken was so fatty that I could not eat it! Roast pork lo Mien had maybe 4 little pieces of pork and it was mixed Lo Mein with yellow fried rice. Did NOT want Fried rice in my Lo Mein!! General Tso's Chicken was so stringy that it was not eatable.. So dissapointing.. My and my wife would never never eat here again. read more

We were staying in Roxbury and decided to try Ming Moon for a quick dinner. Its a 15 min drive approx from Roxbury. Whoever started this Chinese chain in the Catskills hit a gold mine because there is no other chinese food places. The food was good. The food is a little more expensive then on Long Island/Nyc but Its ok. We ordered $30 worth of food. I didn't realize they don't accept cards, which is a huge downfall. I only had $25 on me and they took 2 items off to accommodate. Otherwise great food and nice people but four stars for not accepting cards. Its kind of inconvenient for most people. They are open until 10pm I think, which is rare for this area because everything closes early. read more

This is the WORST Chinese food EVER! Only has even 1 star because I HAVE to to leave a review! Just got take-out for almost forty bucks and this place definitely uses all FROZEN! My Subgum wanton and my husband's Shrimp chow ming foo and eggrolls we're ALL bland and rubbery! I'm a certified cook and know fresh from frozen, and this had been frozen and if I WANTED frozen Chinese I'd go to the grocery store and pay HALF the price I just did for crap! Food is good, but Ming Moon in Delhi and Shokan are much less expensive and you get more food in the containers.

I would give them less than 1 star if i could. I called Ming moon to order Chinese tonight and their new customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. They did not answer the phone saying "ming moon can I help you?" they just said hello, so of course i thought i had the wrong number. I said "is this Ming moon?" and the guy gave me a massive attitude, then he was talking so low I could not understand him. Finally I got around to placing my order, which would have been at least $60.00, and the guy hung up on me. when I called back and told him he didn't tell me how long it would be he gave me a really bad attitude again and just hung up on me again, so I called back a 3rd time to cancel the order and the lady who answered this time said fine and hung up on me. Needless to say I will never order from here again, these new owners suck! I highly recommend that you go somewhere else for food. read more

I would say the food was better than average as they have to make everything fresh but Ming Moon is still your typical Chinese food take-out. Each item on their menu can be changed from spicy to non-spicy, which I gladly did for their sesame chicken. Overall, decent take-out and normal prices. read more

I can only compare the broth as I had someone who was ill and he could only eat the broth. He said it was the most delicious broth he had ever eaten. read more
