Now opened for about a year under new owners. Very good food. Veggies are always fresh with good quality meat and shrimp. Food is not greasy or oily. Very consistent dishes. I have been eating here for the last year and their cooks make each dish the same. Dishes marked spicy are SPICY, much more than the previous owners. This place is under new management. Had the food yesterday and it isn't anywhere near as good as it used to be. The fried rice is very bland and the shrimp with lobster sauce was excessively runny, The steamed dumplings were extremely doughy with a bland filling when you could find it. Definitely not going back for awhile as the prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. The worst part of this entire experience, seeing one of the workers mixing food in a huge bowl using his un-gloved hands, after I had already received my food. Hope the Health Department doesn't walk in to this place. There are a few tables but it's definitely a take out place, unless you're desperate. There is no ambiance here. read more

Have been eating here since 2019 it's the closest spot to me at best the food is always sub par and sometimes gives me a stomach ache. But like a jerk I kept going back because it was convenient, especially when I don't feel like cooking. Today I decided do Take out there for lunch. I ordered a large spareribs, large wonton soup, large shrimp with lobster sauce, two eggrolls, and a large pork fried rice. When I got there the order wasn't ready and I saw the chef taking my ribs out of the deep fryer and putting them into the the rib bag..... I should've said something but it just didn't click in my head. You don't deep fry barbecue spareribs. To say the least when I got home they tasted like bad oil... freaking horrible. Then I was watching the chef finish up the shrimp with lobster sauce and he kept scraping everything out of the wok into the container like crazy and I thought wow he really wants to get that all out. And then as soon as he was done and put the cover on my shrimp with lobster sauce he put more oil into the walk as if he was going to cook something without cleaning the wok. Needless to say the shrimp with lobster sauce had zero taste and the shrimp were grossly overcooked. The wonton soup was cold when I got home which is not usually the case and tasted old. The fried rice really had no taste either. And the eggrolls were greasy and tasted like crap. I'm done with this place literally I pretty much threw everything out and it was $60. Don't eat here do yourself a favor. Even the white rice tasted like it was from yesterday. The staff were very nice, and it was the closest eatery that was opened around Roxbury at 9pm (so we had no choice). Comparing the food made here to the ones I have eaten in NYC, it was subpar in taste and it was more expensive. We ordered for take out - Shanghai Mei Fun (Noodle), Scallop Beef w/ Black Bean on White Rice, and an order of French Fries. The item that tasted the best was the french fries. And, they did not provide utensils (fork/spoon), napkins, or sauce in the bag. Thankfully, our hotel had utensils so we didn't have to eat the food with our hands like a cavemen. I actually really liked the food. I had their chow fun and it was one of the best I had. The issue is their estimated wait time. We were quoted 25 min and it was over an hour. Really good Chinese food. This small Chinese place is tucked away in the small town of Stamford, and it's very good. Everyone I have taken here has really liked the food. I am a vegetarian, and they have some great options, such as the General Tso Tofu. All the old favorites are on the menu as well. read more

In fact, we had enough time to walk to Tops Grocery store approx. half a mile away, returned and our order still wasn't ready with no other customers in site.
