Little coffee and breakfast spot in town. Coffee is excellent while the food was overall very yummy. Came here in the morning and they had a few tables left inside. We ordered and they give you a number if you have any food to come find you with. The menu covers most coffee place items such as the regular coffee drinks, smoothies, specialty drinks like matcha/latte's but they also serve alcohol! Our food didn't take too long and neither did our drinks. They did forget the vanilla pumps in one of the coffees but they quickly corrected that once we brought it up to them. They have a small section of games on a shelf and once you are done with everything they ask you separate the dishes, silverware, and napkins into bins in the back left corner to make it easier for them. They do have complimentary water next to the pick up counter. The bagel I got was just ok - nothing crazy or different to write positively about. I do wish it was toasted more and it was a bit on the dry side I think due to it being sourdough. The acai bowl was delicious - my brother finished it pretty quickly. The breakfast sandwich was yummy and so were the potatoes on the side. My sister in law did say the french toast was very delicious while my brother claimed it was the best he ever had! read more

Arrived here on a Sunday morning at 10am and it was not super busy. I was having a lazy ski day but I imagine most people are on the slopes by now. Service was quick and my briske breakfast burrito was tasty. It was nice that it also came with some potatoes and a side salad. Also love the wood decor around, really feels cozy in there. read more

We visited the almost month old Minglewood over the weekend. Such cute decor!! We stopped by so I could get a coffee and then planned to go across the street, so my husband could have a beer, but to our surprise they also have Beer and Wine here, so we decided to stay. The staff were all super friendly and we enjoyed talking to our server, Tina. I always enjoy trying house specials and the Mate Latte w/ Honey, caught my eye. It was really good and the honey made it a perfect combination. My husband had a California Honey Blonde Ale, made by Pizza Port Brewing Co. He loved it! I'm so glad we came in. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, lox, and capers for $19.53 plus a tip to go. By the time I walked back to my car, I realize that they didn't put the lox on it.So I had to go back in and I noticed they just switched out cashiers. Recently spent over a week in Tahoe City for work and had every breakfast here. The lattes were delicious and consistent. Tried multiple of the breakfast food items, and they were all amazing (especially the avocado toast and breakfast sandwich). But no one liked their food. We all kept saying that we wish there were say 3 traditional items on the menu, but the food was trendy to the point that it didn't work for us. Wished there had been an avocado toast without romesco and leeks; a breakfast sandwich with traditional thick bacon and a different, better tasting side like fruit salad; a greek yogurt parfait: and a more standard breakfast acai bowl. Couldn't tell if the menu is that way because of limited kitchen operations or if they are really committed to this trendy menu. I ordered 2 drinks: iced coffee 16 oz and some green tea latte iced 16 oz (not matcha, they don't serve it) and a turmeric shot. All of that was $20! I didn't like the latte so I went up and asked them to change it to cappuccino. The staff didn't even ask for the size of the drink I wanted. I was ok to even accept that. But when they served people's coffee first to the girl group that came after me I couldn't take it anymore. And the guy with dark hair and beard even tried being snappy with me saying he explained the latte drink to me. He did, but he failed to mention that it might not be something I'd be into if I like matcha latte. Was walking around Tahoe looking for a breakfast spot and I'm so happy we walked into this one. It's such a cute cozy spot on the lake. Minglewood erased the previously extensive counter service bagel/breakfast sandwich/coffee menu and replaced it with a limited, overpriced, trying-to-be-trendy menu.
