Cute spot with great coffee and breakfast bites. The quinoa in the burrito is a great addition from a normal burrito, make sure to try it! Great friendly staff and quick service! Even grab your breakfast or lunch and walk across the street, cute little beach area with a picnic table!

Years later and still the best lox bagel I have ever had! Staff is always so friendly and it's a really great spot to grab a quick breakfast and have a great coffee. See you next trip!

What a perfect little spot to stop before heading up the mountain or out of town. Such nice guys behind the counter, it feels like a comfy neighborhood spot. We got the English muffin sandwich and breakfast burrito - delicious and melty, and they have some hot sauces you can add if you need!

5 stars -- A Soulful Start to the Morning at Peps Place I stumbled upon Pepe's Place this morning and WOW -- what a hidden gem! I grabbed the veggie breakfast burrito and took it down to the lake, and honestly... I don't know what fed me more: the view or the burrito. The wrap was packed with fluffy quinoa, roasted veggies, perfectly scrambled eggs, and just the right touch of seasoning. It felt nourishing without being heavy, and every bite had that "made with love" kind of taste. I'm a breakfast burrito snob, and this one totally delivered. Bonus points for being vegetarian-friendly and lake-picnic approved. Pro tip: grab your burrito and take it to the water -- it's pure Tahoe magic. Pepe's, I'll be back. Probably tomorrow. - Grateful, hungry, and now very full

Great quick spot for breakfast or lunch. This was my second time in here over the years and the service is fast and great quality. Cute small spot across from the beach makes it feel so homey and welcoming! The food was also wonderful! I got the bagel sandwich with egg added and my husband got the breakfast croissant and both were so yummy. I also got a small chai latte with oat milk and it hit the spot. Definitely recommend stopping in whether it's to stay and eat there or grab to go! Enjoy!

Yay, I finally got to try Pep's Place for some takeout breakfast and it did not disappoint. I got the English Muffin breakfast sando and made it vegetarian (no bacon). It came with scrambled eggs, cheese, avocado, butter lettuce & tomato for $11, which is a fair price even w/o the bacon. My only suggestion is that it could use some sort of signature sauce & more seasoning, but I was able to do that at home & it was perfect. My husband's lunch sandwich (Roast Beef $16) was a little pricier than anticipated, but the portion size was pretty big, so I still think you are getting a decent deal here. I can't wait to come back and try some of their other veggie options. The BBQ Roasted Veggie Sandwich sounds amazing!

Grabbed a bagel sandwich and oat milk latte from Peps both mornings I was in town (Friday and Saturday). Not only were they super pleasant and kind when I placed my order over the phone but they were super fast and got my order right each time. My bf got an everything bagel with butter and heavy cream cheese and they def understood the assignment with the cream cheese. Also, all ingredients in my bagel sandwich were nice and fresh and it was so yummy!! FYI, they have plain and everything bagels for you to choose from. I will absolutely be back to dine in one of these days. Great gran and go breakfast with a smile. Can't go wrong. See you guys again soon!

    Salmon lox everything bagel

Went here on a morning for a quick breakfast and it was so good! Food(5/5): I got the lox everything bagel and they didn't skimp on the salmon it was really filling and tasty. One of the best lox bagels I've had. Service(5/5): service was really friendly and welcoming, I noticed they sometimes also bring you your order to where you're sitting which is really nice. Ambiance(5/5): I recommend sitting near the windows, it has some view of Lake Tahoe and it's nice while you enjoy breakfast with your friends or family.

Originally I had a selfish and curious reason for visiting. I have a lifelong friend and we have nicknamed each other Pep. Imagine finding this place... we HAD to try it. If I were to open my own restaurant it would be exactly like this! Delicious, fresh ingredients and only the best. This spot is so freaking cute and if I lived closer I'd be in every single day. Bagel sandwiches were amazing. Takeout orders only and I ate across the street right on the water. How gorgeous does that sound!

The steak was a little too chewy and tough for my taste, but overall good flavor. I loved the wild rice pilaf side! - lemonade and sierra sunburn: both really fresh and seemed like they were made from fresh lemons! the raspberry in the sunburn was great The lighting was warm and the lights were really overhead. The benches were comfortable and not cold to sit on, and overall nice, clean, comfy environment. Service was really friendly and apologized that the drinks menu didn't have dairy-free options for some of the drinks with dairy, overall really attentive and engaging. They were excellent. Like, the kind where you pause mid-bite and nod. The enchiladas were exactly what you want after a long Tahoe day: cheesy, saucy, and piping hot in the best kind of way. Comfort food perfection. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. A couple quirks to know going in: * Beware the green salsa. It is SPICY. Do not mistake it for guacasalsa. It's actually spicier than the red salsa and has some serious kick. * Chips aren't free and only come in one large size, so plan accordingly if you're just looking for a small side. Whitecaps is a must if you are staying in the area!…read more Quite possibly the best pizza in all of Tahoe. We've tried many places over the years and Whitecaps is ultimately the spot we always go to. It's super busy, so definitely recommend coming early or planning your visit on a weekday. On a Saturday night, it took about 30 minutes for a table, so we sat at the bar instead. The service was good, though the food did take a while to come out. The Sopressata pizza with honey drizzle was amazing and probably the highlight of our most recent dinner. They have a ton of options on the menu though, if you're not feeling pizza. I've heard amazing things about the meatball sandwich, which we plan to get on our next visit.

Whitecaps Pizza is a great pizza option in North Lake Tahoe. Located in Kings Beach just a short…read moredrive from Incline Village, it offers beautiful lake views, a relaxed atmosphere, and some seriously tasty pizza. The pizza is absolutely the reason I keep coming back. My longtime favorite is the Soppressata pizza with hot honey drizzle. The combination of spicy, savory, and sweet is outstanding, and it might be one of the few pizzas that's just as good the next day as leftovers. On my most recent visit, we tried the Vodka Pie on the Detroit-style crust. While I enjoyed the flavors, I discovered that the Detroit-style crust probably isn't for me. Going forward, I'll stick with their more traditional crust options, which I've consistently enjoyed over the years. The beet salad is another standout. It's beautifully presented, and the fresh dill on top adds a unique touch that works surprisingly well. My only suggestion would be to increase the portion of beets a bit, as the amount felt somewhat limited compared to the rest of the dish. The beer selection is extensive, with plenty of options for almost any taste. Wine drinkers will find a handful of choices available by the glass or half bottle, which is appreciated, although none of the wines I've tried have been particularly memorable. The biggest challenge for Whitecaps continues to be the service. While I've had a few positive experiences, I've also had multiple visits where service felt inattentive and unfriendly. It often seems difficult to get someone's attention when you need something, and there have been occasions where details were overlooked, including being served wine in a visibly dirty glass. While it was replaced when brought to their attention, the lack of acknowledgment or apology left something to be desired. That said, I continue to return because the pizza is genuinely that good. Between the lake views, the casual atmosphere, the excellent beer selection, and tasty pizza. Whitecaps remains a great place to gather with friends, share an appetizer and a pizza, and enjoy a cold drink. If the service ever catches up to the quality of the food, this place could easily become a top pizza option in NLT.

Both dishes came with complementary soup first. It's difficult to say which dish we liked more since both were excellent.
