We ordered a few lattes made with their in-house syrups, and every single one of them was incredible. We loved them so much we went back for them again and again over the weekend we were there. We also tried their chorizo burrito and donuts, which were both outstanding. I honestly want to go back to the island just to eat here again! The ambiance of the place is awesome. It is super kid-friendly outside, featuring a wonderful yard with plenty of toys and things to do, which makes it incredibly relaxing for families. To top it all off, the staff was incredibly nice, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visits. I highly, highly recommend checking out Medio Cafe if you are anywhere near the San Juan Islands. I went into this location at 930pm as this is the only Body Energy Club that closes at 1030 on a Friday night. I went in to get the usual and one of the item is the liquid l carnitine. Upon paying for them there were two workers, one asian guy who I think makes smoothies and another guy with darker skin and long hair who I believe does cashier and customer service. I wish I knew his name, he was SO informative and very knowledgeable. I always get the liquid L'Carnitine as it gets into my system fast, he told me I should be taking 2-4 tbsp. I didn't know that and only been taking 2tbsp since summer as it states that on the bottle. He also suggested to take the pills as it lasts longer and told me how much to take. He also shared his experience with pill formed L carnitine when he was prepping for his show last year. We also talked about nutrition and how I dislike salads. He told me I just need to find a good salad dressing and wrote a dressing recipe down for me as he loves salad and how he makes his salad and salad dressing from scratch. I have never experienced such customer service or knowledge until yesterday. I have been to many locations and the staff has always been helpful, but yesterdays experience was something else. BEC, please find out who that guy was and tell him good job!

There is just something awesome with a storm displaying fully stacked racks unlike Popeye's which is sometimes empty and if not, messy. Even though this store is small it is very tidy and neat as if an OCD person works here..I love it! The sales guy - unfortunately I didn't get his name - but for the twice I've been here he's always been very helpful and informative! I understand they have to move some products but in no way he was very pushy. He even let me try out a bunch of samples. The best part about this place is that anyone automatically gets 10% off! We had a vegan and an Atlantic Salmon bowls. They both tasted so good. The combinations of everything just went together perfectly. The right sized pieces of salmon and toppings along with the right balance of rice or salad (or both). Their sauces are so flavorful. I really enjoyed it. We also had an Açaí bowl - fresh, delicious and strawberries in it tasted like summer!
