I think I've only done gel manicures 2x in my life and Lord the damage to my nails was so terrible that it was enough for me to just stay away. As someone who took a nail course, I know you need a clean base first. The shape ended up wide and rounded, with no apex at all. After leaving, I had to go home and reshape them myself.
