I was super excited because it looks real and is beautiful. I'm so excited to decorate at the end of the year. I was impressed by the girl at checkout. She wasn't flustered by the crowds. The tree I was waiting to get packed for me ended up being packed and sold to someone else due to poor communication. She immediately made sure I knew what else was available and any additional discounts she could ask about on my behalf. Loved that! They were putting out Valentine's day and St. Patty's day stuff in December. I thought this is crazy but I will definitely be there next week for the Valentine sales. I love all the coupons weekly and the variety of crafts. You can't go wrong at HL.

I have been to many, many consignment stores in SD, and those stores are more expensive for pieces that are not refurbished or not as tastefull designed as the items sold at this store. Really I'm so amazed at how they can sell these high quality antiques at such a low cost. They also have two amazing SD interior designers, that help with the designing of the furnishings at this store and add their eclectic charm to lamps, draperies, and furniture. So this also means there is no clutter, and everything is laid out so well. Forget Pottery Barn for your drapes, come here to get them at the same price, at 10 times the quality and the fabrics are so much more amazing. Ikea, forget about them, get real wood and more style at the same cost. Come check 'em out for your next furniture or accessory needs. Also, the interior designers come in on Fridays, so if you need professional opinions on what furniture you should get, or which drapes are right for you, they will be able to help you out!

They house "East County Vinyl" inside which has such an extensive collection of both new and used vinyls that are all priced SO well - we walked out with 5 used vinyls under $30, SCORE (two of them were priced at just $2)! We've already tried playing all 5 of them and they were in pristine condition. Walked into the back and they have a really nice assortment of furniture, art, books, a small rack of clothing, vintage decor and collection pieces alike, all of which were priced very well!! Even though the clothing rack was small, I found this really cool Padres shirt :) The gentleman working today was also very kind and helpful, he even offered to hold the vinyls we found up at the register so we could continue perusing around the store. The consignment and vintage market, especially in San Diego, marks up prices but the Consignment Shack makes it affordable for all! Can't wait to come back!!!

It felt like the old school days browsing through old records and finding great deals... unlike other stores where they overcharge. The owner was sweet and very welcoming which was appreciated. I was able to find a few vinyls to add to my slow growing collection. The other side was more of the consignment area, offering a variety of items, from comic books, to vintage Barbie's, to furniture and more. When I make it back to this area, I will definitely stop by again.

The quantity and variety has really been lacking. The men's grooming products section has basically been reduced to a couple of shelves. I first noticed shortly after Christmas and attributed it to just normal after holidays stock depletion. Our last time in was several months later. The hot sauce, etc. had improved a little bit. I was able to find a few things. Still not much had changed in terms of the men's aisle. It was still Mother Hubbard's bare Cupboard.

Getting to shop for each flower makes buying flowers such an intentional experience. The staff is always sweet and kind and hot to help. The cost of the flowers is on the higher end, but you pay for what you get. Unique flowers. Grown locally (or mostly locally). I love coming into the shop, it's an instant mood lift.
