Dr. Holgers has been so amazing and incredibly helpful to me, finally getting me answers and finding solutions to the pain that I've been having for many, many years. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable and thorough, but he is super friendly and personable, and he never rushes through the appointment. In fact, he's the first doctor that I've ever seen that has asked me if there was anything else that I wanted to address at what would have otherwise been the end of my appointment. At that moment I knew that Dr. Holgers was actually invested in making me healthier and pain-free. I was referred to Dr. Ruff for a neurosurgery consult and again was so impressed. She explained in great detail the surgery, as well as the pros and cons and was excellent at answering my questions and concerns. She was very friendly, clearly knowledgeable, and obviously committed to helping me make the best decision for me. I've also had two procedures performed here by Dr. Fredericks that had great outcomes. But just as importantly, the procedures themselves went very smoothly. Dr. Fredericks explained his every step so I was always aware of what was happening and exactly what to expect. He was very patient with my questions, he laughed at my really bad jokes, realized I was probably a bit nervous, and kept the atmosphere light and fun, rather than all serious and sterile...All the while performing very intricate and precise, but most importantly successful pain-relieving procedures. Lastly, this clinic also has a great physical therapy department. I worked with Johnathan and he was friendly, fun and great at motivating me, as well as great at explaining the mechanics of the body and how the exercises I was doing would affect my back and neck pain. Also, the Med X system that I completed was great and especially helpful for strengthening my neck and relieving neck pain. Overall, I (clearly) am thrilled to have found this Spine Clinic and the doctors and therapists there. I feel like I am finally on the path to a future free of back and neck pain and I am so thankful for all those at the M Health Fairview Spine Clinic who have helped me get to this point! The front reception people were friendly, the registration areas are private which I love, and everything went smooth as silk. The doctor I saw, Dr. Holgers was incredible. She was also asked if she was hungry. She said yes. It was around dinner time. She never received a tray. She asked where her tray was, and she didn't get one until 9pm, no cover over her food, and her tomato soup and chicken breast were COLD! This is how you treat the sick?!?! She felt she was in a DEATH CAMP! This is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!

Ridgeviews billing department did not submit the claim to the insurance company just used hostile tactics to collect money that was not owed to them. THEN when billing did their job the insurance company accepted and paid the claim, Ridgeview refunded my money to my fsa account. I am not out that money to pay my other medical bills. I have been to High Pointe three times now: for two spinal shots and one spinal surgery at C5-C6…read more All three times, the experience has been exceptional - from the welcome I received upon check-in to my departure. The nursing staff and medical team are collectively well-qualified, compassionate, and professional. They thoroughly explain the procedure, what to expect, and the proper after-care at home. For my most recent procedure, the spinal surgery, I was impressed with how well the IV was inserted. Normally, phlebotomists have difficulty with IVs and drawing blood since I have rolling veins. Not so in this case! It was probably one of the easiest times I've ever had one done and there was little pain. The anesthesiologist asked a comprehensive number of questions and ensured that I felt comfortable going into surgery. Since I was having surgery on my neck and the normal way to put in a breathing tube would have cause additional stress on my neck (and ultimately pain, even if I couldn't feel it during surgery), he went out of his way to determine a way to insert a breathing tube effectively and without causing pain. I didn't ask that he do this. He did this on this own which shows his commitment to compassionate care and doing no harm to patients. The surgeon did a phenomenal job on the spinal surgery! After I had been dealing with a pinched nerve in the C5-6 region for 11 months, he was able to correct it during the surgery! He removed part of the vertebrae and noted that the nerve "popped up" immediately - exactly the result that was needed. Immediately after the surgery, I had NO PAIN OR NUMBNESSS in my left arm and hand. After living with the pain and numbness for 11 months, it felt surreal to go about the rest of my day without even a minutest amount of pain in my left arm or hand. The pain in my neck (where the surgical site was) is sore, but that's expected and I was told to expect it since muscles and tissues would be moved around, and part of the vertebrae removed. The appropriate amount of medication was prescribed and is able to address the pain. High Pointe followed up with me the day after my surgery to check on me. I gave an update and had a couple of questions for the nurse. She was able to answer my question quickly. I would high recommend High Pointe for anyone considering surgery by one of the providers. The experience far exceeded my expectations!

If a surgery center receives anything but a five star rating, you should be scared. Very scared. Fortunately, I didn't have to be. Being clean and well kept for a medical facility goes without saying. But the staff was very friendly and put you at ease. I wasn't very scared of going into surgery, but I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't at all apprehensive. It is surgery after all, even if it is miles away from any vital organs. Any number of things can go wrong. And the staff there was all smiley and joked around with me to help disperse some of that apprehensiveness. (One of the receptionists was a Vikings fan and made a comment about my Vikings sweatshirt. We had some fun poking fun at our next door rivals.) You had a private stall to get ready and whoever was there with you was allowed to see you just before they took you away. I remember being sprawled out on a surgery table with arms out much like Neo was in the last Matrix movie. It was kind of surreal and very Holy-like. I don't remember much of the recovery area as I only woke up briefly to mumble that I felt nauseous. I didn't feel like I said it very loud, but I heard some nurses scrambling to page a doc to see if they could give me some medicine for it, so either I said it louder than I thought, or the nurses were very attentive. Surgery didn't turn out to be that big of a deal to me other than not reacting well to general anesthetic. With that said, I don't care to repeat it anytime soon. But if I end up back at High Pointe, I'll certainly feel better that I'm in good hands.

Which I did politely hand him and asked what they would be needing and doing with that information, which this triggered his apparent insecurity in his own knowledge and became completely defensive. It is normal to ask what people are doing with your information but to this man it was an insulting question and the rest of our next 10 mins in the lobby was met with suspicious demeanor. When my husband called to make our appointment he was told we could find our chosen doctor after our scan and that would be fine. Apparently this is not true and you can pick between two UNKNOWN "doctors" in two other states. He was so impatient to answer our questions of "what drs?" "This wasn't explained to us before our arrival we have no clue who the names are where they are if they are credible... you have never once offered to show us or tell us Names even." He then said, and I quote verbatim "You just have to pick do you want a chiropractor or an MD, ITS NOT THAT HARD." (with a wide eyed straight stare) We felt so uncomfortable we wanted our information back ( the copy of my ID and the sheet my husband had started to fill out) to which he told us I had no right to get back. (WRONG! I have every right to have my information back) His demeanor had signs of being a trustworthy or transparent person to whom you should let even see your private information. His dodgy untamed temperament was so alarming I felt unsafe to receive any kind of care from this company. because I stood up for myself he treated me as if I was doing something wrong asking questions (very reasonable common questions) about the treatment and care of my i formation. Basically they should be reviewed by their certification board. It became very apparent that telling us what was really happening with our information and the bait and switch tactics, along with the inability for transparency show reasonable signs to be checked.

I was told my insurance would not cover this and then hit with a $100 bill for a 10 minute zoom call. I made a good faith effort to make the payment anyway and send my payment information to their billing office. A month later I received another bill and was told my "payment information was not correct" (Even though BetterHelp has been using the same payment information for months no problem. Shannon at the business office was a flake when it came to communication. I told her I was going to the Better business bureau which I did but they refused to responds to their two attempts to contact me. I continue to receive bills from them and am now putting return to sender on the envelope. I found out the sleep issues were a symptom of Perimenopause which I found supplements that greatly improved my sleep. This business seems to care more about money than their patients.
