I have been a happy, satisfied patient of Dr. Pak's practice for a few years now. Every member of his team from Ria to the dental hygienists and Dr. Pak himself are professional, friendly, and make every experience very pleasant (how many dentists can you say that about?). I've had a few dentists in the past, but Dr. Pak's practice is my favorite so far. I recently had my first root canal procedure, and aside from clearly explaining everything to me, Dr. Pak and Ria helped with any anxiety that I had about the procedure. Ria even helped by scheduling my fiancé's cleaning so that he finished at a great time and was able to take me home right after my procedure. Dr. Pak is an excellent dentist, and my root canal was almost painless and I had no pain the rest of the day or any days after. His team was very thorough and even checked on me within a few days to make sure everything was healing properly. The staff here is so welcoming and kind! My daughter and I have been going here for almost a year now. Last year during the pandemic we were in search of a dentist but couldn't find the right one for us. Dr. Pak's dental office was referred to us by a friend. My daughter is very picky and selective on who works on her teeth and this dental office made her feel so comfortable to continue to return. Annie, the dental hygienist, always make sure when she's doing her teeth cleaning to ensure you're comfortable while the procedure is done. Highly recommended!!! Been coming here for years now, and they have been nothing but professional and kind. I neglected my oral hygienes for years prior to coming to Dr.Pak. Was definitely nervous about the condition of my teeth, but after a few visits, I felt reassured. Still continue to visit for my routine cleaning. I occasionally find myself dozing off on the chair while the dental hygienist (Annie) is cleaning my teeth. She is that good. Not sure if they accept young patients, but I highly recommend for those who are afraid of getting their teeth cleaned. Parking - Parking is great as you can park in the Stonestown parking lot and walk over OR use the parking structure attached the building. COVID - The office has always been very clean. So... there I was eating a pasta salad with olives when my i chipped my tooth on a surprise pit. i tried to brave on, thinking the chip might smooth itself down. and plus i don't have the insurance that dr pak carries at the moment. so i was pretty determined to avoid the dentist--that is, until i was flossing and felt some movement up there. turns out a filling had also been loosened by the olive pit incident of 2017. i call rhea at Dr Pak's office--she sets me up for an appointment. THE SAME DAY. i show up, everyone is friendly, i'm whisked to a chair, dr pak tells me what's happened--and one filling later, I'm out of there as good as new. It's weird to be so intimate with your mouth but not visualize what is going on in there. Dr Pak was nice enough to text me a pic of my tooth so I could see what the heck was going on in there. And later he texted me to follow up to see how the fit was going (as that had been a concern while he was doing the micro adjustments to make sure my bite was back to normal). I've been with Dr Pak through insurance and now without dental insurance. With something as intimate as my mouth--that requires both technical experience and an artistic eye--it says a lot that he is worth it no matter what my situation. Trust in his professionalism, putting the patient first, and abilities--that is priceless. Even though seeing Dr Pak requires I drive all the way across the City I gladly do it -- not only for myself but also for my two children. Dr Pak is highly skilled, thorough, knowledgable and has a soothing manner (very important for those of us who usually need a valium before a dental cleaning!). In addition, his amazing office manager, Lilly, makes sure I don't miss my appointments with a personal phone call the day before and the morning of my appointment! I was struggling to handle my two front teeth so many many years since my teenage. No matter how many times I discuss with my dentist and work with these by the teeth braces or some other dental technique. I was never satisfied. Dr. Pak made me so comfortable and confident with his greatness experience. My family was very surprise that I decided to implant it in the next few days. In addition, Lily (coordinator) explained very details on the procedure and payment term that I won't worry about that at all. After three months, I can laugh so hard and showing off my teeth. None of my friends recognized it but they just knew I look much better. You know what, Dr. Pak made it in perfect match of color and shape like the nature one. My mom loves it so badly. I always forget to updated about my dentist, Minsik Pak. Today I went with my 8 year old daughter to see Dr. Pak. I have been going since 2004 and my teeth are in great health. I really owe a lot because before him my gums and teeth were in bad shape, He is a great family doctor. My daughter likes going! (prizes help too.) When they work on me Lily the receptionist takes great care of her, which is beyond her job! Dr. Pak is a family man and understands children very well. The location is perfect! Stonestowns has plenty of parking, a Trader Joes, Macy's, a whole mall! They know you and treat you like family.I guess everything is pain free. read more

Very personable staff. I was having some sensitivity, and they were able to have me in that same day for an x-ray. Even though the x-ray proved there was not much to worry about, the staff was very nice and the visit was taken care of by the insurance. I've been going to Dr. Pak's for about 10 years now and thanks to the eagle-eyed hygienists, I haven't developed any cavities in just as long. If I could give 6 stars, I would just because they are so great at explaining whatever's going on in your mouth. Called a week ago for an appointment and specifically asked if this place takes the plan I have. I was told "Yes." Then I came in this afternoon for my first appointment. I wasn't sure if they were familiar with my plan so I handed in my insurance ID along with the forms I had to fill out. They took an Xray on me and cleaned my teeth. Then I was told that they do not operate "within the network." Why didn't you tell me that if you knew. I know it was part of my fault that I didn't go to my insurance provider's web site to make sure his name was on the list. But shouldn't you warn me if you already know the fact? I used to be a dental assistant for a while. I have to say, Dr. Pak isn't anything exceptional. He is OKAY. And just like the dentist I used to work for, he was trying to rush me out as soon as he could so he could see the next patient. I didn't even get the full consultation that I deserve. I hate going to dentist but Dr. Pak and his staff were very accomadating to my needs. They have nitrous to help me relax. Headsets to help me drown out unpleasant noises. Really easy going hygienist. And I love their digital xrays cause I get to see my pictures immediately after they are taken...and they also have a nice waiting area where you can watch their tropical fish.
