Highly recommended for all of your tile and grout needs!…read more The owner Josh came by our house to evaluate and give us an estimate for our granite counters and shower. It definitely needed some help from all the hard water damage over the past 2 years. He was very punctual and even specially ordered this paste to fill a gap by our shower wall. Adrian and both his assistants did an amazing job refining the granite and re-grouting. When the job was completed, it looked so clean, shiny and smooth! Adrian is extremely thorough and even told me where to get the best cleaner to maintain these surfaces long-term. They really went above and beyond what I had expected. We will definitely use them again for all our future tile and grout needs!

The Grout was Driving the wife nuts I called and texted pics to Josh at Desert Tile and Grout Care. Best call I ever made. Josh came out put an estimate together which after calling other companies was very fair. After talking to my wife and I to schedule a day, we found out not surprisingly they were book out a few weeks . Josh found out the wife had family flying in to visit with us for a few weeks. Josh went over his schedule and somehow found a Friday they could do it prior to the family visiting. The workers came out laid down a few grout color Samples. My wife picked the one she wanted and they went to work. The job got done in one day And came out perfect Thanks to all of you! Ken and Julie Carson Laveen AZ (Happy Wife Happy Life)

I did my fair share of research prior to selecting a company to clean/seal my tile and grout. We…read morehave numerous recommendations for other companies but with our slate floors, I truly wanted EXPERTS! My research was confirmed with The Grout Doctor as they ONLY DO TILE! This told me they truly knew tile and how to care for it with proper equipment. Tony came out to give an estimate whic was prompt and detail oriented. My wife and I were impressed by his personal touch but in depth knowledge of how they were going to clean and make our floors look brand new. Pricing was extremely FAIR including repairs of some grout and tiles that were popping up. When it came time for cleaning, Daniel arrived. He again was knowledgeable and informed us he would make our floors shine! When we arrived back at our home after the work was done, less than an entire day, we were extremely impressed. Our grout was back to the original color, the repairs were seamless and our floors were shining! Numerous people have commented on how much different our floors like. The sealant brought out the true color in our beautiful slate floors. We will recommend The Grout Doctor to anyone who asks for a reference for tile floor cleaning and sealing.

I agreed to wait since I liked the reviews I read on Yelp. The morning of the job I get a call from him saying that there is an issue with the grout company getting my grout. He said he'd get it straightened out and could come two days later to complete the job. I agreed. Then the morning of the second appointment I get a similar call and he said that he is not sure exactly how long it will take to get the grout but that he should be able to get it eventually. Then a week later, when I hadn't heard any updates, I told him I'm going to move forward with another company if I do not get word he told me that he ultimately couldn't get the right color grout. His communication throughout the process was inconsistent. I do not get upset when issues arise since I know that things happen. It's more about how it is handled and Gabriel was disrespectful of my time and a poor communicator throughout. I recommend that you avoid this company.

We had a few loose tiles that we needed reset. Gary came in and gave us a quote to replace two…read moreloose tiles and clean all the grout (there is tile throughout the house). We set the day and time. We moved most of the furniture off the tile. An hour after they were supposed to be here, I called Gary and asked when they would be here. He said they were having mechanical problems and would be there in a half hour to an hour. An hour later, still nobody. I called to cancel and was told there would be a $129 cancellation fee. I tild him no but he kept trying to talk, so I said goodbye and hung up. This is the text he sent: Brandon is in route. You can either stick with the scheduled service for today or the $129 cancellation fee will apply. Please don't hang up on me or yell at me when trying to discuss. Unfortunately, as running a business, sometimes we have to deal with situations that were not expected having to do with vehicles and mechanical breakdowns. Sometimes during those times, time gets away from us as we're trying to scramble to get vehicles and equipment to the right to repair shops. I get there are delays but if you don't let people know, don't be surprised if they cancel.

I will not do business with the Grout Medic again…read more Pros - Gary and his crew are able to lay tile and do a decent job. - The price was reasonable for the amount of work that was done. Cons - The price on the proposal changed without my knowledge or consent. I was told at the end of the job "I will send you an invoice, and the price has changed. I don't know how much yet." Who does that? I never signed a change order or agreed to pay any extra. The communication was horrible. Technically, since no change order was signed I should have only paid the proposed amount. The up charge was $140 so it was easier to just pay it and move on with my life. Otherwise I would have fought it. - The proposal says the prices are subject to change. Watch out for this because they may use that as a blank check to charge you more without your knowledge or consent. They will tell you about the price change once the job is completed which is a terrible business practice. - Gary ONLY knows tile. Don't trust him with anything else, especially plumbing. I hired him because the upstairs toilet was leaking and the tile needed to be redone. I told him the toilet flange was too low and it would need a spacer to raise it up for the toilet install. What does he do? He lays the tile right next to the flange so a spacer cannot be installed without cutting the tile around the flange. When asked about it he said "we fixed it how we found it." That's the problem. How you found it was why the toilet leaked in the first place. He has no outside the box thinking or problem solving skills and didn't think to carve the tile away from the flange. It's not even outside the box thinking. I literally told him that was the main problem and cause of the initial toilet leak. He said he could carve the tile away if it turned out to be an issue. His other employee also said the plumber could easily carve off whatever tile they needed to in order to install the toilet. Yes the plumber will cut the tile for an additional fee of $175. You guys are supposed to be the tile experts. You should know not to have tile next to or overhanging a toilet flange. The Grout Medics were initially going to reinstall the toilet for me and were going to use two wax rings, which is completely wrong. Good thing I am going to hire a plumber to install the toilet correctly, otherwise I would just get another leak again down the road and be in the same position. - They will make it right for you, for a fee. The job was not done to my satisfaction. I was told they could come back and cut the tile around the flange but it would cost a minimum of $129. They could have addressed this issue while they were still on the job site but I was assured the plumber would cut the tile around the flange for me. It was just laziness, lack of knowledge, poor customer service, and not making sure the job was done in a way that would solve the root issue. In conclusion Gary and his crew can lay tile but don't expect them to know how to do anything else. They may raise the price on you without your knowledge or consent. They may install your toilet incorrectly which will lead to more leaks. They may want to charge you even more if the job isn't done to your satisfaction. I will never recommend the Grout Medic to anyone and will never do business with them again.
