This was probably the worst dental experience I've had in my life and I've had some bad ones. They advertise this "luxury" experience and that is not what they give at all. First I do want to mention Natasha I think her name was a dental assistant there is EXCEPTIONAL and seemed more capable than the actual dentist I had. She was knowledgeable and experienced. I want to also mention the front desk was always nice and professional as well. When I first went for my consultation I started with Dr.Jones he was nice and mild mannered Thank God I got X-rays at another dental office first so I knew all the dental work they stated I needed I actually needed. Second visit to start my work on the left side Dr. Jones did the work it was fine but I left in excruciating pain that no one told me I would have. Also my bottom tooth looked like he had left some of the cavity there seeing as it was down by my lower lip. I ended up having to go back in and get "adjustments" because I was in so much pain. I'm talking the pain u experience when u get cold water on a rotten tooth and this was after the work. Before going in I called the emergency line as I was instructed by the front desk. The girl on the line asked me how I got this number I said the front desk told me to call if I had any issues and at this point I've been in pain for 2 weeks. She tells me this line is for real emergencies and asked if I tried Campho Phenique or some pain medicine. Campho Phenique is for bug bites ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! She ended up scheduling me for adjustments as she laughed in the background with coworkers and I had to repeat my information because she was not listening to me at all. I went in got adjustments with Dr. Jones also mentioned the area he forgot the cavity on he said it only needed to be buffed so he did that. I got home looked and my tooth looked exactly the same but the pain was gone in my crowns Thank God. I get a voicemail from the office a day before my third visit and they tell me Dr.Jones is no longer at this location and that's it. I call back to get clarification on what that meant as far as my visit they say pretty much another doctor would be finishing my work. I've never known for a place to switch doctors in the middle of someone's treatment plan. Third visit comes this doctor was HORRIBLE. Had to numb me multiple times because I was not fully numb. Fussing with the assistant and frantically pushing and pulling switching tools in my mouth for hours I was in pain this entire visit. Dr. Jones previously suggested I get a night guard bc I grind my teeth it was a $300 something dollar mouth guard I could not afford after doing all this work. So I found a cheaper option online but needed to know what thickness to get. She told me how would I get this online that they can't mold my teeth. I told her they send a molding kit and everything she immediately told me no I couldn't properly mold my teeth no. The assistant suggested I get one from Walmart she said it was cheaper and would work fine. I told the doctor well your saying no but it's better than nothing and it's all I can afford after this. Like really?! I was so happy it would hopefully be my last visit! It wasn't. I call the customer experience line talk to a man about everything I had been through all he did was make all these promises about how my next visit to put my permanent crown would be better even told me I wouldn't have that same doctor. Guess what I did!!! She was even more horrible than the first time I was in pain this entire visit. She had so much cement on my temporary they had to drill the extra cement off my already sensitive tooth she was working on my lower teeth when it wasn't numb my gums were torn at the top and bleeding. I will never go to this dentist office again, even if I need further adjustments I'll go somewhere else. read more

This staff is super friendly and attentive. They make you feeling comfortable and at ease. They supply you headphones and iPads for entertainment. This was my husbands first time in awhile and they made him feel comfortable and gave him peace of mind. They have vibrating chairs as an option. Wow! I heard this place was different and more inviting than a normal dentist office, but I didn't expect a level above and beyond even my highest expectations. First of all, everything is quick and efficient from the waiting room to sitting in the chair. Everyone works together to get everything done quickly and effortlessly. The camaraderie between co-workers seems amazing. As far as the visit goes, there are tons of amenities. I came for the free teeth whitening, but Was surprised to receive a massage in the massage chair, beats headphones to watch netflix, hulu, or pandora, and an iphone to play on. Not only that, but Crystal and the others were very attentive to my needs! Not only that, but the treatment coordinator Brandon really hooked me up with the best treatment for my cavities at an affordable price, including some swag for joining the Smile More Club. It's like a monthly subscription of awesome dental stuff. I cannot recommend this place enough. It takes the scary part of then dentist out of the picture by being warm and inviting! read more

Great hygienist, the only thing that I did not like was the wait time! I waited nearly 2 hours after my appointment time to finally get my cleaning started! Mint dentistry has a lot lf perks like massage chairs and netflix + musoc. They make you feel like your at a spa with them. The staff is amazing as well as extremely friendly. You guys gets a lot of goodies from them as well. I really loved the discount plan that they have and can make the payments affordable if you have no insurance. Very good service this was my first visit every one was involved and doing there jobs. The only thing I could complain about was the wait time. It was a 4 hr visit, sheesh! But they had the tablet and the beats by Dre I watched a movie on Netflix and some inspirational stuff on YouTube to pass the time . They made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of the whole time. I felt good. Or either I was in a good frame of mind. So all the Energy was Good! False CAVITIES! The place seemed nice until I was told I may have a cavity coming in on my right front tooth. I thought was weird because all my 33 yrs of life Ive NEVER had a cavity. 6 months later I do a follow up and asked about the "possible" cavity and if it had progressed only to be told they didn't see any cavity's on my front tooth but that now there are TWO on my right side of my mouth. they said they could get me in and that it was needed. I never had a fill in my entire life, I let them do the filling. 2 weeks go by and I feel sharpness in my nerves every time I chew in my right side , I go back and they claimed to be adjusting it .. long story short it's been 6 more months and nothing has changed. I'm terrified to go back. Let alone a dentist period. I really believe I never had cavity's to begin with. The place is fancy , but the service and wait time is very slowwwwww. I really think they are recommending work that is not needed. read more

Mint Dentistry is a scam. They promote all of these services and say how you will get free teeth whitening with PO insurance but they are being untruthful. My husband and myself made an appointment with this location. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I'm am so fearful of dentists that every time I go I must have meds given to me to calm me before my appointment. Well upon getting there I took my X-ray, got my teeth molded and saw the dentist who informed me that I needed a deep cleaning. Very nice and courteous people. I informed them I take diazepam before visits & can they prescribe that and reschedule me or give me the laughing gas to relax me or give me the IV sedation that they talk about on their website. Website quote, "From simple sedation, up to complete unconscious IV sedation, we will prevent your pain and your apprehension." So because this "Dental Spa", which is what they called themselves, couldn't do any of these the dentist suggested that they refer me down the street to another dentist office. Upon leaving they gave me some NYC lipsticks, but didn't say anything about my teeth whitening just for having PPO insurance. Realizing that they didn't give them to me I called them and requested my teeth whitening kit and was told because I had to referred do them lying about what they offer, I don't qualify for the whitening kit. However I'm positive they will be billing my insurance for the very expensive X-rays they took. I was ready for service and ready to pay but they lied to get us there and didn't provide what they promised. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be recommending Mint Dentistry to anyone. They told my husband they did want to start work on him after another dentist started. Clearly we were looking for another dentist but they referred him out too. Smh! read more

I went today for a 11:45 appointment and didn't leave until about 2:45. Today I went in as a new patient to get a cleaning, whitening, and treatment plan. The dental assistant wasn't knowledgeable for the level of questions is was asking often giving the response "the front desk would know better", which makes no sense considering I wasn't asking billing questions or anything desk related yet asking questions referring to my actual dental treatment and steps for today. Later in the visit I asked about the whitening and she responded, "well I didn't offer bc of a certain tooth of concern." Which is something that should have been communicated instead of excluding my service on her own. This place is NOT efficient and the only reason I give one star is because the option to give none isn't available. Fast forward the day to my husbands appointment after 3, he ended up walking out because he sat from 3-5 without being called to the back to even start treatment. This is disappointing and I don't think I'll trust this office to continue my treatment. I was really excited for nothing. read more

Today was my fist time coming to Mint Dentistry!!!! They are Amazing!! The front desk receptionist had a very warm and inviting demeanor!! The office is decorated beautifully!! I am always nervous when I come to the dentist!! I came for routine cleaning and come to find out I had 2 small cavities!! Dr Nguyen, the Dental Hygienist, both Dental Assistants were very attentive to me with all my questions and needs!! I have been searching for a dentist to call home and I have definitely found it!! I am overly joyed by their expertise and knowledge that they have. On the cosmetic side I thought I had a beautiful smile. Dr Nguyen evened out my top and bottom teeth!! My smile is complete now!!! Everything is even and aligned !! No braces needed!! I was able to get everything done at a very reasonable cost!! I am so happy!!! I love this new place I call my Dentist!! All the doctors at Mint Dentistry were super warm and welcoming on my first visit! I was really nervous to go to my dentist appointment because it has been almost 2 years since I've been but they made sure that I felt safe and comfortable throughout the whole appointment. I applied for the discount plan which was perfect for me because it didn't hurt my pocket yet I still got excellent dental service! Update: Guess what? Still no cavities! Amazing how that works. Don't waste your time going here and being told you need unnecessary dental work- it's a scam! DO NOT go to this practice! Fancy office covers up the fact that treatment is being recommended (and heavily pushed) for nonexistent issues. I was told I needed two significant fillings and that I should schedule as soon as possible to have the fillings completed. Insurance was run and I was given a total cost of $118.00. Not a huge amount of money but my instincts (and several years of working in the dental field)told me to get a second opinion. News flash- I have ZERO cavities, ZERO "watches", ZERO issues!!! I was lied to by tdentist. I don't fault the staff as they follow what the dentist says. The ADA has this to say about unnecessary treatment: 5.B.6. UNNECESSARY SERVICES. "A dentist who recommends or performs unnecessary dental services or procedures is engaged in unethical conduct. The dentist's ethical obligation in this matter applies regardless of the type of practice arrangement or contractual obligations in which he or she provides patient care." I'd be extremely interested to know the number of patients who have had unnecessary procedures in this office and how much money has been made off of patients who put their trust in this practice. read more

I made an appointment online a few days in advance. Awesome! Then, on the form, I requested pricing on an erupted wisdom tooth pricing prior to the appointment. I got an email to text pretty much immediately requiring me to confirm the appointment or lose it (by text). Okay, that was a little odd since it was so still far away, but I went ahead and sent my confirmation. I then received another message requesting I fill out my patient forms. I did that. Now, two days before the appointment, I have received no correspondence per my request. So, being the diligent person that I am I reached out to the office myself requesting the information. She was very nice and bubbly on the phone, but then after she pulled me up in the system she stated I would need a full evaluation and then we would go from there. I don't need an evaluation. I need a previously infected tooth removed (got rid of the infection as I have for the last couple of years with activated charcoal). I know it is dead because a dentist told me so years ago. I don't want additional services, I just want to stop getting sick and having to treat that and the infection. In other words, I just wanted a simple non-surgical wisdom tooth extraction and you couldn't give me even a range of prices? Like, hey it will be $xx.00 if we don't have to cut your gums open but if we do it will be $xxx.00. I should know what I am looking at prior to an appointment. It is not a car dealership. It is a dentist. I work in a physician's office, so I am aware that there is a range of costs depending on the level of work. If a patient wants to know what that range is, it should be provided. If I get sick while I look for a dentist who will give me a price, then I hope you know you failed me as a potential patient. read more

DECEMBER 27, 2018 REVIEW!!!! WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER!! Had scheduled an appointment to get a root canal and I had arrived 10 minutes till 3 to arrive on time. Right away they make you do all the paperwork and make you pay upfront. After I finished all this I still had to wait 30 mins extra to get sat in my room! At this point I had just dropped that problem because I understood it was Friday and they were probably busy. So I get sat in my room and the kind worker asked me If i wanted to watch anything and she put on a movie. I LITERALLY got more then half way through the movie before the dentist finally walked in for the first time. LITERALLY WAITED OVER AN HOUR JUST TO GET TOLD I CAN'T GET A ROOT CANAL. The dentist right away walks and say "Okay Mr.Rios I need to see your tooth because I don't think it's savable!". So at that moment I'm already pissed that I waited for more then an hour and then that the dentist doesn't even say hi and changes the whole purpose of the visit. She laid me back to examine my tooth and while poking the tooth with her tool she managed to go deep in the tooth and managed to poke my nerve inside without a warning!! Right away I reacted to it and I was just frustrated at the fact that the experience so far was horrible. She told me I need a extraction and that they would not be able to do the root canal like planned. At that point I was livid. Told the dentist to give me some space and time so I could think about it and so i could calm down. She sent over the store manager (who is very much nice) and she apologized to me about everything. She stated she would refund me my $175 and take care of my extraction with store credit. I decided to move forward with extraction due to the pain the dentist put me in. I was in no pain when I walked in and due to the dentist who didn't know what she was doing I was in pain now. After agreeing to the extraction it took me more then an hour to get numbed. The dentist literally numbed the whole right side of my mouth except the tooth it self that was getting pulled out. Each time she tried to move forward with the process I could still feel everything she was doing and the numbing wasn't helping. She numbed me more then 10 times and it took her more then an hour just to figure out that all she had to do was numb the damn nerve she poked in the first place!! At that point I felt stupid because I trusted a dentist who so far made this dental experience horrible. She managed to finally take the tooth out and that point I felt relieved that all this was over. I walked in to that office at 2:50 and didn't leave till 6:30. The whole staff was nice but the dentist literally had no idea what she was doing and she should not be having her dental license. Thank you to Jasmine the store manager and the dental assistants who were great with me. Save your time, money, and teeth and AVOID THIS OFFICE! Hope this review helps some of you. My experience at MINT Dentistry is just what was promised by their promotion of a "Dental Spa." I received an iPad, Beats as well as a massaging chair while I underwent my cleaning. In addition, all the employees especially Marisela went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and answered all my questions. My favorite thing ,though, was the fact that they have offices all over Texas and with a job that keeps me moving, this is so incredibly convenient because they just transfer all my information without me having to worry about anything. Do not go here! I was looking for a new dentist as I moved across town from my family dentist, and I trusted the reviews. They actually pay their patients for good reviews in free whitening treatments...one free whitening treatment for every review on different sites. They filled one cavity, and the sensitivity on the left side of my mouth has gone off the charts. They also told me I needed a crown, and when I got a second opinion, not only did I not need a crown, my dentist told me that Mint mostly hires dentists directly from dental school who can't afford to start their own practice. read more

First time here..after hearing their ads on the radio..and WOW so glad I came! To start off they had same day appt's available! They even offer beats headphones and an ipad with Netflix and Pandora while you wait to be attended. The cleaning was fast and efficient. (They also let you choose what you want to watch).
