The entire staff was really nice an informative (especially Diem, Kim, and Crystal). They even gave me referrals and pricing for dental work I need that they don't offer at this location. I didn't spend very much time with the actual dentist but that's probably because I didn't have any major issues. I will be returning! read more

This was my first visit here at Mint and I have to say, one of the most impressive dentistry offices I've ever been to! I called in advance to schedule an appointment and the entire process to verify my insurance and fill out the paperwork was smooth. I was actually able to fill out my paperwork prior to my visit online so when I came in for my appointment, I was seen almost immediately! Let's start off with when I entered the office. I was greeted by the receptionist immediately! After I signed in, I was given an iPad and some beats headphones to use while I was in the waiting area. The iPad had Netflix/pandora/Hulu/YouTube on it for the guests to use! I love how patiently friendly this office is. ! Furthermore, the office was very clean and modern. After waiting for about 15 minutes max, I was called in for my appointment. Prior to my treatment, I was notified about my cavities and the treatment recommended. Thus, aside from the check up, I ask received treatment regarding my cavities. Overall, I love how efficient this office is and would definitely recommend it to any other individuals out there seeking for a perfect dentistry office! I will definitely be coming back to this office for my annual check ups! *If my cavities were not treated, I believe the entire visit would've been 2 hours max but since I received treatment for the cavities, My visit was from 9:30am-12:15pm. Despite staying at the office long, I felt very appreciated by the staff and was not rushed. They definitely take their time on you and they do care about your teeth. Enjoyed my "Dental Spa" experience from beginning to end at Mint Dentistry South. The lobby is decorated very nicely as I was promptly greeted by smiling faces. My appointment was for 8am. After completing paper work I was taken to the back for xrays, no wait time! They have massaging chairs and you get to choose to watch netflix or listen to music while the doctors and assistants are servicing you. I had cavities to fill, and they worked out an awesome deal with me. I also received their promotion of free whitening trays with my visit.They even called this morning to follow up and make sure I was ok. I think I have found my new dental office!! read more

I scheduled an appointment here for me and my husband to take advantage of their double whitening promotion and they were awesome! They were very accommodating! We each got 2 tubes of whitening, a cleaning and they were able to do so procedures for the hubby! I left there feeling like my teeth were extra clean! I'm excited to come back! read more

So far so good! I was greeted the moment I walked in and only had to wait for 5-10 minutes in the waiting area before getting x rays. There's a huge team here so everything moves quickly but not too fast where they can't handle individual issues or concerns. I'm also watching my favorite show on Netflix with beats headphone. The best dental experience I've ever had. I walked in and was greeted quickly. Brandon helped me out and was able to get me set through my appointment quickly. His greeting was nice and offered me Beats headphones, a tablet and a bottle of water as I waited. Once with my hygienist and in the chair/massage chair for my teeth cleaning. (Yes it's a massage chair) My hygienist Ashley offered if wanted to watch Netflix, Hulu or even listen to Pandora as the work on my teeth were being done. I ended up opting out to just listening to music on the tablet they gave me. Is this a dental office or a spa? It's both. They offered me a complimentary whitining tray with the visit. All in all very professional place and a whole new way of service when going to the dentist. read more

Went here to get what supposed to be a routine clean for family. Ended up being bombarded with tons of quotes which is very inflated, then got bombarded with their membership plan that supposed to save you money. It was a trick. All family members got milked by Mint by filing the maximum for everything they can file a claim on. Just one trip and everybody was at max on the limit allowed by the insurance company. They said deep cleaning takes several visits which is covered under one claim and that you dont need to pay again when come come back to have other quadrants worked on. They lied. They tried to charge again. Thats when we made an uproar and they didnt charge to finish up what they started. Now needing to replace a crown, found out the allowance is used up by all their claims. They quoted a price twice higher than everyone else and said with my membership with them, its down to $800 which I had to pay out of pocket because they milked everything from the insurance carrier from the previous visit. The girl, Amanda, doesn't know anything you asked. She fishes for an answer, makes up stories and basically said I don't know when asked about the warranty of the work. Visits are 4 hrs long. It is very over priced here. They do a horrible job too because it hurts. Family members return to have them fix the issue and it still hurts. I would NOT recommend this place. Don't buy into their membership plan. Its a joke. read more

Mint Dentistry has so many beautiful attributes and an images and amenities that make it a wonderful place to go but right after Hurricane Harvey I went to get a cavity fixed and they had a dentist from Humble. To start it off, the visit started as usual which is great but the man that did my cavity actually messed my mouth up for good. I had mouth pain Three Days afterwards and it continued so I did not go back to get any work done because I had never had mouth pain in my life and it scared me. The cleaning that I had done about a year before that went excellent so I don't think that it was the facility per se but the back of dentist that they used because his facility had flooded. Needless to say I cannot go back because this scared me profusely. All the trappings are beautiful but when someone messes up your mouth and you had a perfect mouth before them it's the unthinkable. I'm so sorry that I can't come back. read more

This really pains me to give a unsatisfactory review but I must. First off it all start by them trying to cancel my appointment the day before I'm scheduled for a crown. Appointment which I had been having for 2 months. Secondly I been having a sensitive tooth which needs a root canal.. instead of them doing my root canal which they had no problem doing on the right side of my mouth they wanna refer the work out. I was really disappointed for my first time visiting this office. There is so much hype on the radio about this business. First off, I was told that my insurance didn't help cover my extraction, my husband called and they said they did. I was not given a follow up phone call to check on me nor was I given a follow up treatment plan on which I could finish getting my dental needs taken care of. Upon walking inside I was totally impressed. The decor of this facility is just beautifully done. Modern ,chic, clean lines and just overall stunning. The designer deserves accolades for sure. I was give an iPad with keyboard to complete my paperwork. I thought that was fast amd efficent and saved paper. As soon as I arrived they greeted me and saw to me right away. I didnt wait long before I was doing my xrays. They work in teams and moved thru quickly. I was soon in my chair for more exams and pics of my teeth. The doctor came and saw me and she was plesant and attentive. I noticed she was an AGGIE as well as one of tbe front desk ladies (gig em) cant miss those beautiful gold aggie rings. So my 12noon appointment by 1255 I was done with almost everything and just needed by cleaning. I had done xrays,pics, dental impressions for my teeth white trays, and seen the doctor. The things slowed down. 1255 I was waiting and it was 135pm before the lady came to go over my treatment plan and financial info. I was annoyed since everything else had run so smoothly. But by end of visit I assume running numbers and speaking with insurance probably does take awhile. The lady that did my cleaning was GREAT. By 2pm I was out the door. I will be back for follow up and will recommend this location to anyone who asks. My husband was with me and he thought it was spectacular and said it was very highend. First visit they make you feel like there's no better place. Beats headphones and a tablet, shades needed. Offer you a drink. Next visit not so much. Just a welcome but they come get you on time. Next visit. No offer for a drink. Barely a greeting when you walk in. And oh the wait! Ridiculous. On top of patients checking in after you being taken back before you. Way to go Mint. Everyone I have referred I will be letting them know to not waste their time. Every 15 mins they let you know your room will be ready in 5 minutes. Only got 2 of 4 fillings done because they kept telling me just a few more minutes. Finally left at 5 and they were trying to finish the last two fillings. No thank you read more

It is very rare that I provide negative feedback, but I just could not let this one go. Went to Mint and was told that I needed two crowns. I already knew that, but they treated me so nice, so I told them that I would do it. I explained to them that I have had very bad experiences with the dentist and have had to be premeditated and/or nitrous. The Dentist told me that they could do that, but that I would need to get the premedications from my PCP. It took me a month to get to my PCP, but I obtained the premedications and called to make the appointment to have the crown done. I took the premedications about an hour before arrival (as prescribed) and arrived expecting to have the nitrous and the crown done. I was in the chair at about 1015. First they came back and told me that they are low on nitrous. Then they came back and told me that they cant give the nitrous without me having a ride. I called someone to come pick me up. Then they tell me that they cannot give the nitrous with the Valium because that would be too sedative, so I told them I would just do it with the nitrous. I told them that I have had this before. It's now about 1145 and another Dentist comes in and tells me that they cannot do the procedure because I took Valium and they are not certified to treat patients who take sedation...just nitrous. I reminded them that this is not what was told to me. It is not even what is on their website (http://mintdentistry.com/for-patients-2/#pain-management) I was denied treatment at their facility...after spending almost 2 hours there and after doing everything that they asked me to do. Undoubtedly, patient's time and considerations do not matter to Mint. Now I have to go elsewhere, pay for exams and x-rays and hope that I can get this done before the end of the year before my benefits run out. I'm very disappointed! By the way, I tried calling to talk to someone in leadership not at the Alief location, but that was denied also. read more

I had the most terrible experience possible Friday, May 25. I went in to get my crown put in and left 4 hours later the same way I came in (with a temporary) and having the most awful experience of my life. I had Dr Moore work on me and she struggled to get the crown in. She altered it so much that at the end it didn't fit on me anymore. She even cut off a piece of the permanent tooth next to it and now I have gap between the one she worked on and my permanent tooth. She took so long that my anesthesia wore off and I started to feel a lot of pain. I told her I was feeling it and she continued and told me that she was almost done. Well she wasn't "almost done" and I started to feel excruciating pain. I started to cry and so she jabbed a cotton ball full of the numbing gel that made me scream in pain. She then injected me right in the middle of the tooth were the nerve was very awake and I started to cry even more. She then blew air in it to see if it was numb and I screamed in horror because of the pain I felt. I have been to the dentist several times and have never experienced this type of pain I felt. I couldn't believe that she did not wait for the numbing gel to function before jabbing the needle in. Just thinking of the pain makes me cringe and now I am terrified to ever go back. I literally sat up and asked for a different doctor. I waited about 45 minutes and the same doctor came back. She laid me back and put water on the tooth and nerve was still fully awake. She then missed and shot my lip with the needle!! By then I was crying and asked her to back away and not to touch me unless it was a different doctor. Once the other doctor came in she gave me more anesthesia and was so gentle. I never felt pain again. She tried to place the crown back in but since Dr Moore had altered the tooth next to it she said they had to make a completely new crown because it didn't fit anymore. The amount of disappointment I felt after that I can't even express. I have asked for my crown to be delivered at a different location because I will never set foot in this place again. read more
