A bunch of very unprofessional, rude, money hungry, clueless group of people. Starting from both receptionists at the front desk on up. All they care about is money. I barely entered the building, no service has been rendered yet before they started talking about payment/money. I was immediately disgusted. The receptionists at the front are rude and dont know the difference between credit and debit. I got charged a 3% fee for using apple cash. Not a credit card. Actual cash on my apple wallet. When I mentioned that i was there two days prior and paid the exact same way, she didn't care to fix it and I paid it just to be done with it. Its only 2.26 more but thats not the point. The point is why am i getting charged to use cash... i had an appointment at 4:30 to get a tooth pulled. I was there on time. Got my mouth numbed at 4:50 and waited until 5:30 for someone to come do the procedure. Apparently the doctor that did the anesthesia was supposed to do the procedure but he left 10mins after he gave me the anesthesia. The doctor that ended up doing my procedure didn't even know i was in the office. I had also waited a long time to get taken care of for my cleaning two days prior. I loved Mint when i first started going there but practice has really gone downhill. I will be looking for a new dentist. read more

Warning RUN AWAY! - Mint Dentistry Lilburn Avoid this office NASTY literally and figuratively. RUDE & UNSAFE (Cross-contamination is a serious hygiene risk.) Dr. Buchanan ignored my concerns after I calmly asked his assistant/receptionist to redo the tool preparation (to which he did NOT witness) her during the process - SHE TOUCHED chairs, tables, and other items in the office while handling internal tools. I also noticed that she did NOT WASH her hands NOR WEAR GLOVES prior. Although she seemed to understand proper hygienic standards she attempted to move everything including the table napkin and Q-tips--however, Dr. Brian Buchanan repeatedly interrupted and prevented her from starting over. To pacify me, they eventually brought out a new sterile tool bag only, but the initial risk of cross-contamination was already present. When I spoke up, I was scrutinized and sarcastically patronized. Therefore I had to leave. Despite my request NOT to proceed with the exam, I was still billed for a full evaluation (Only X-rays seen). Goal was a simple cleaning. Buchanan sent a couple letters (one certified) nasty nicely stating I was never to return to the franchise of 'his' Mint dentistry office, neither party is a good fit, and that I still needed dental work done ASAP. Writing and knowing that, why would a sane dentist bill the insurance company for a full evaluation that never happened -blocking the patient for the next several months from seeing another dentist at Mint or elsewhere? Add insult to injury their corporate feedback/billing office has no follow up, follow through, feedback, non existent concern- I had to hunt down several times thanks Maggy! According to the receptionist an evaluation includes looking inside the mouth and my mouth was not looked into at all. My first visit to this location with dentist Dr. Ghodke was smooth and professional. He said my teeth look good. read more

Bad experience . They said they accept my insurance, it cover 100% cleaning, but after got x rays they I pay my pocket, when it supposed cover 100%, like others dental places.. the primary reason to go there is pay for cleaning not the x rays, I do not recommend this place, read more

Instead of correcting their mistakes they chose to send me a letter to say they will no longer service me. You guys missed a visible problem with my tooth on my X-ray and you have failed to correct it. Shame on you. You guys will not have success conducting business this way. Shame on you guys. Taking the time to write this review because Mint Dentistry has a radio ad out encouraging their target market to get a teeth cleaning at one of their many locations in Georgia. If you're anything like me, you haven't had a cleaning in a little over two years thanks to the pandemic. It's been on your to do list and it's something you haven't quite found the time to schedule. Besides, you probably just created your insurance accounts and received your cards. Cue Mint Dentistry- after radio hopping from 88.5 WRAS to let's say 107.9 - you hear a cool, hip ad listing all of the delays in your teeth cleaning. You call Mint Dentistry and to your surprise- they can get you in next day (Woohoo)! They send you an email requesting you sign all the legalese. They ask in depth dental history questions and awesome you're set. When you come in they give you a few other disclosures and then they welcome you back. Before you begin your process- Your hit with 5 X-rays. I recently had X-rays done from my orthodontist and asked if I could just email them over. They say no, they don't accept X-rays from other offices. Weird to me honestly, mine are fairly new and if I can not go under harmful rays- I prefer it. But hey- company policy. I sit down and I have a few questions. Before I got to the seat I've already been introduced to 3 people- front desk 1, front desk 2, X-ray girl Resa. Resa proceeds to take my BLOOD PRESSURE. I ask why is this necessary, she's says in case we give you lidocaine. Resa, I came here specifically for a teeth cleaning- did you read the 5 page document I spent time filling out so this would be a more collaborative experience? No? Oh no one told you? Oh ok. I ask Resa about cost and payments. She has no clue. She invites front desk 2 to answer. She authorizes herself as the front desk manager. Didn't really need her for my questions because she didn't answer them, she just provides backhand assurance. Doctor enters room, all the dentistry talk identifying cavities at 18, 3, 31 etc. At this point they are racking up costs to charge you. And since you have insurance- you are a potential cash cow. When the hygienist comes in (person 5), I ask again for financial information. She has no clue about the finance part. She invites person 6, thé finance manager, to answer my money questions. To my surprise the X-rays alone take up to 70% of the expenses. X-rays I didn't need- keep in mind. If I was paying for this out of pocket and they didn't disclose these prices before performing the scans, I would have been out of close to $400. Mint Dentistry has a system that makes them successful. I believe they squeeze all they can out of insurance and write it off as " company policy "- to them your another customer. It's not like the old days, when your dentist cared and asked about your family and read the 5 page documents they sent you- so your not repeating yourself to every employee in the joint. In a capitalist society, they thrive. They are like the great fine dining server who uses every opportunity to upswell you. As if there aren't enough income strategies before you walk in- they also offer you a monthly subscription that supposedly has other " benefits " but it's really a strategy to lock you in on a payment plan for the other services- yes that you may need, but never asked for. I had a 3:00 PM appointment on Tuesday, February 15th and upon my arrival, I was given an invoice to review so my credit card could be run, but I was not told that the cost of my procedure had gone up by 50%. When I asked why the price had increased so dramatically the response I was given by Khaliah Archie (receptionist with whom I normally liaise) was that the previous receptionist gave me the wrong quote. I asked why they decided to honor that price for the other procedure that I had (which was the exact same as what I was coming in for today) and was told that it didn't matter what they had done in the past, but they were not going to honor this price today. Khaliah was rude and curt with me saying, "This is the price, so what do you want to do about it?" Mentioning that Donna (the receptionist who created the pricing and invoice for me) was the one that gave me a single quote for both procedures seemed to do absolutely nothing. I reiterated that I was not to be held responsible for Donna's mistake in the pricing that she gave me. Considering that the company had honored that price in the past, they should be able to do so again today. Khaliah's response was as curt and rude and in alignment with her previous one so I mentioned to her that this was an unacceptable form of client care and asked if she thought that this was the way she should handle this situation. To which she responded, "Are you going to pay for the services or not?" At that point I decided I was not going to pay it, and I left - never to return. I loved MINT!! I first became a patient in 2018 when I was in Irving, Texas, and when I learned that they opened offices here in Atlanta, I rushed to make an appointment and establish care here as well. I brought my family over so they too would become customers. Now, after all this time, I have to sever my relationship with them since I no longer trust their pricing and business practices, and if their receptionists feel comfortable enough to speak with me in such a manor they must have a practice of allowing poor client interaction and behavior. This is not a place where I can feel comfortable with the amount of trust needed with preferred medical providers. read more

My first visit, two years ago was spectacular. The staff were friendly and prompt. However, after a few months and a second opinion, Ive had to have more work done at another denistry to correct poor work that was done at this one. Secondly, after my last visit a few weeks ago, they claimed they would call back to tell me when my permanent crown would come in, that didn't happen. I started experiencing pain shortly after my work was completed and dealt with it for about a week thinking it was just teeth sensitivity. It didn't improve. That's when I called. I was placed on hold several times and was asked to calm down after 20 minutes when I had already explained and answered the questions they kept asking me multiple times after coming back from being placed on hold. I was so disheartened that I decided to go to other dentistries for a second and third opinions. The crown job was not done well according to both opinions. Lastly, they decided to round my balance up to the nearest dollar I suppose. Never heard of an office doing that but $400 is still a lot different than $382. When I addressed this with the woman I was speaking to she basically said "I should be glad the work only costs this much with insurance because without it blah blah blah. And that it was only $15 dollars difference. Are you kidding me? Is told the lady that I didn't care if it was .50 difference it was my money and you don't play with something I worked for nor should you tell me how I should be feeling during the time Im in pain, you keep placing me on hold and coming back asking the same questions, and now you tell me that telling me the not exact price is ok. When I assertively (not disrespectful at all) announced my frustrations, I was met with a calm down. This could be seen as a micro aggression with her assumptions but I didn't have the resolve to speak to her manager because I was highly disappointed in how I was being treated when I had to be the one making the calls after my care. After the money was taken. Needless to say, I retrieved my records and moved on. I still have this temporary crown they placed on until my new denistry can fix it. Highly disappointed in the level of care and lack of customer service I was getting across the board when in the beginning it seemed like a great environment. And while they did accept my insurance, they were out of network and I was willing to continue my service with higher prices because I felt it was worth until Ive seen the light. I had a horrible experience. I usually go to another dental office but they were booked out ..The dentist at the Lilburn office had no patience. I have a fear of needles and instead of explaining and walking me through the procedure, he drops whatever is in his hand and walks off. Granite I understand he has a sharp tool and doesn't was an accidental stab. But still to just storm off and not even talk to the patient. Poor bedside manner. Absolutely would not recommend this place in a million years. read more

I I could give this location 0 stars I would. Beware and don't fall for their ads like I did. Friendly staff, absolutely-they will charm their way into your wallet . You will very likely be left with a huge bill due after insurance. Worst dental experience ever. read more
