Brought my son to get some follow-up work done. The wait was kind of long but it was busy. I'm told the wait isn't usually long. They have a nice sitting area & wifi if you need it. We had an issue with our account & the front desk was very discreet to discuss it. We cleared it up & I was appreciative of the way she handled it. I'm not really sure how this place has such a high rating, but my experience was definitely not the best. I went about 3 weeks ago, and vowed to not return. I am terrified of going to the dentist. I just hate tools and the whole process of being there, so having a dentist that takes the time to listen to your concerns goes a long way. I will say, the front staff is very nice and even the lady that helped me over the phone to schedule the appointment was helpful, but that's really all I got. This is the reason for 2 stars. The dentist himself seemed like he was rushing, and he didn't even introduce himself really. Also, he was talking to the dental hygienist like she was stupid when she had the x-rays on the screen. I felt really uncomfortable. He didn't really address my concerns, and only focused on scheduling to take my wisdom tooth out. He fixated only on that, even though I had stated other things. I was so happy to have been introduced to Dr. Joseph Kim and his team last year. I was looking for a local dentist for quite some time, after moving to ATL from Chicago so it was great timing to make my first appointment with Dr. Kim at Ye Clinic spring of last year. I made the mistake of not keeping up with my regular dentist appointments so ended up needing a root canal and some cavities repaired. Dr. Kim and his team were extremely professional and courteous. Ye Clinic offers acupuncture, chiropractic services and general/cosmetic dentistry. I was very happy with my multiple visits to take care of the root canal procedure and cavities. The entire office is clean and makes a great first impression. The office staff are welcoming and has always practiced great customer service from the reminder phone calls for your next appointment to checking in on the day of your appointment. Ye Clinic is Korean owned but language is not an issue. The staff speaks both English and Korean so you will never have any issues with communicating your needs with the team at Ye Clinic. Hands down, I will recommend Dr. Kim and his staff for anyone looking for a positive experience when it comes to your dental needs. I'm so upset about this place after my last appointment. It was the day of my implant surgery, the doctor has never mentioned me about anything that I have to pull out my another teeth before, but right on the surgery day. I was told that if I do not pull out the one next my implant, then he could not continue the surgery, and in near future I need to get one more implant. IS the DENTIST should've protected your teeth instead of pulling out all the times???? It's like you are doing your heart surgery and were told that they have to remove your kidney or something next the organ in order to continue the heart surgery. I have been going to Yes Clinic for years. I had a teeth cleaning scheduled. They told me it would be $90.00 for the cleaning and $10.00 for the X-ray = $100 total. They did the x-ray and said that they didn't find anything on the x-ray. Everything looked fine. Then after poking around in my teeth the hygienist said I need to get a deep cleaning instead of a regular one. She told me the deep cleaning would be $700. No dentist in the area charges anything close to that price. How do you jump an extra $600.00 from a standard to a deep cleaning? The most I've been quoted is $300.00. I pay out-of-pocket and was not prepared to pay $700 that day and thought it was very overpriced so I told her I just wanted to get the regular cleaning for now. She said I couldn't get the regular cleaning, that I HAD to get the deep cleaning. Not sure how someone can dictate what I'm getting when I'm actually the one paying for it out of pocket. I told them I would need to schedule a deep cleaning at a later time. So instead of continuing and doing a regular cleaning she stopped my appointment. Went to the front desk and was told it would be $75 for the x-ray that they just told me was $10.00! So if you get your teeth cleaned your x-rays $10 but if they spend 60 seconds taking pictures of your teeth and you don't get a cleaning done it's $75.00. I thought that was unfair but the front receptionist insisted that was the cost: Complete robbery. After spending over $10,000 here out of pocket for various procedures, I will never come back here again unless I get a call from Dr. Kim himself an an apology from the staff who treated me crazy. The ladies he has running the place have no idea how to do real business. I had a relative who was going to come in as well but they ended up canceling because of how I was treated. So they lost out on two customers simply for doing bad business. Dr Kim has always been good with me but the people that work for him are obviously incompetent. read more

I would rate the front office staff a zero if allowed. I just tried to schedule an appointment for routine cleaning and the young lady claimed she could not verify my insurance with the member id number, which was correct and active. She called me back minutes later and asked for my social security number in order to complete verification. I told her no and that I would launch a call to my insurance company myself. after verifying that my member id given was correct and an active plan, I was told that my social security number wasn't needed. needless to say when I called back they had canceled my appointment because I fail to provide my social and she told me that she did not have time to waste. They do not give proper dental care. I have an abscess in my lower jaw, was in great pain, went there for a consultation and x-rays, they verified yes, I do have an abscess, and then they sent me on my way without even prescribing me antibiotics! I will never go back, and yes, for some of the employees, language was an issue unlike what their site leads you to believe. read more

I went to see Dr. Soon Ae Kim for lower back pain. I was officially looking for a chiropractor, but was open to & interested in acupuncture as a possible treatment. With Dr. Kim, you get it all! First, the office is geared toward Korean (I guess) speakers, but the staff is very friendly & accommodating once they realize they're dealing with an "Anglo". Dr. Kim varies the treatment, based on the given complaint, but I've had chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, dry/wet cupping, massage, some kind of electronic pulsing therapy to the muscles, & rides on the traction table (a kind of massage where the table move you back & forth over some rollers). I don't know how most of it works, all I know is that it does! Particularly, the acupuncture relieves the pain within 24 hours & lasts at least a week. I am a believer now! Plus, Dr. Kim is so kind and enthusiastic about her profession, it's infectious. She will tell you about successes she's had, say with stroke patients, and she's so genuinely happy about it that you can't help but like her. Most hours are during the week, but she also has Saturday hours every other week. I actually prefer this day because the main nurse on Saturday (sorry to say I don't know her name) is wonderful. read more

I have struggled with lower back pain for 8 years and still battle with this pain. But I am very relieved and happy that it's about to come to an end. I just came to see Dr. Soon Ae Kim couple of days ago for my first treatment, and my pain has already greatly subsided and become bearable. Ricky and I were overdue for our regular cleaning, so I booked an appointment for us to see Dr. Kim here this past Saturday based on Michelle's yelp review. The location is across the street from the Mercedes Benz dealership in Duluth/Suwanee. The office interior is beautiful with a relaxing, spa-like ambiance from the color palette, music, and with plentiful choices of magazines and beverages. Enjoy the pleasant waiting room while you can because they are punctual so your wait time will be short ^-^! Dr. Kim and his staff are all very nice and friendly. They do a great job to take care of their patients and make sure they feel comfortable during their visit. When I get scared I tend to ask a lot (and I mean a LOT) of questions to get a better grasp of any concerns I have, I know it can start to aggravate and irritate some peoples patience, but the staff here was happy to answer all of my questions which I really appreciated. Also, everyone here is bilingual so no worries about speaking English :). I felt it is important also to mention that Dr. Kim is very knowledgeable and professional, while also down to earth which I personally prefer since that is what I am more accustomed and familiar with. He is clearly very intelligent being a graduate from NYU and both board certified for dental and chiropractic. He is honest and caring towards his patients and takes his time to make sure each customer gets the attention they deserve. He constantly is smiling and laughing which makes the scary visit for me much better :). When he finished with his last patient he kicked off his white coat, gave me two thumbs up advising he was done for the day, and told us some cool and funny stories about how he got shots while he was in the army :). I thought that was very sweet of him to spend some time with us after he was done. In short, the chemistry with Dr. Kim just clicked and I really like him as a person and as my dentist :). Dr Kim ,and his office was very great and professional. I was there a couple of days ago for root canal and deep cleaning. Of course like anyone else I was nervous. Soon as I entered for my appointment I gave my name and was immediately sent to the chair for work. No wait! This is great. Once my work was near finished that pointed out other concerns of my condition then asked if I wanted to schedule it in on the same day along with payment options. Of course I said YES. So I met with Toney a wonderful black employee there who was kind and patient to all my questions. I felt being black myself and choosing a Asian dental group for my dental exam, was clear that I love educated and professionalism,it does not matter the color. However, after got a few quotes and offers from other dentists, one of my friends introduced my Dr. Joseph Kim at YE Dental Clinic.
