Bad Delivery Service via Foodler : I used to love this place and I have no complains on the food. Their delivery man is a horrible person and very rude. We have had bad experiences with him many times and last time was when we decided it was enough. We have tired to let the restaurant know about this but he is still with them. I have decided not to order from there anymore. Between me and my husband used to order approx. $100 worth of food every month from mint and this is now business lost. This place is relatively new, and I think when the Tufts students get back next week will really be booming. We got at Tikka Masala Wrap and a Lamb Curry wrap. Both were excellent. The momos are also fantastic, and the pricing is pretty good too. I'm certain we will be back. read more

UPDATE: I was in a crunch and went back, but this time ordered the momos. They were surprisingly delicious. So, lesson learned: don't go for the Indian food, go for the momos. Really disappointed in this place. Ordered thali. They screwed up my order, which I didn't realize until I got home. The chili chicken was incredibly creamy, which would've been nice to know in advance (the menu just says "chili sauce"). The chicken somehow managed to be dry and tasteless despite the sauce. The thali's not cheap, either - almost $14 with tax. I was pumped to have a Nepali place so close to my new apartment but I probably won't be coming back. read more

They sent Chicken tikka masala instead of paneer. Replacing non-vegetarian with vegetarian isn't acceptable according to me especially for those who are vegetarian forever . On top, I didn't even hear a "Sorry or my apologies ". Their response was "call uber eats and cancel the order and place a new one and we will send you paneer next time". The owner is passionated about food, quality, flavor and creativity. He made an introduction about their food. I love small place with special, creative food that go beyond tradition. I have quite high standard for MoMo or dumplings; I tried their Chicken and Veggie ones, both flavorful and special. I did not like the sauce go with it, but I don't care much about the sauce for MoMo or dumplings in general. Have you had Indian wraps? I had it first time today with a friend. Delicious lunch combo, really satisfying meal, but one big problem that might prevent me from returning - it's all in plastic containers that go straight into the garbage. Eight separate pieces of plastic on my tray, including a meal container so heavy duty it could be Tupperware. These folks need to either get something biodegradable, washable, or a recycling bin. This is my local Indian joint and I enjoyed their food until last week. I came in for dinner with a friend. He ordered a $13 dinner. I ordered samosas as a light snack. Plus mango lassis. Total order about $26. For some reason the young woman at the register kept swiping my credit card over and over. I finally asked to see the receipts because clearly something was wrong. She reluctantly let me see them. They were for $5,311,207! Yes, five million dollars and then some! I said, "You are canceling these of course." She answered the phone, she took other customers who walked in after me. She was clearly over her head. Was there someone who could help? She never asked anyone to help her, or me. I stood there for a long time while she helped other customers, finally she could ignore me no longer. Again I asked her to cancel the $5 million dollar transaction and she didn't appear able to do so. Then she rang up the $26 dollar transaction. We waited and waited. Everyone around us got their food. We got NOTHING. I was now late for a meeting. "Where is our dinner?" I asked. She was still taking other calls and customers. So I told her to cancel my order, and this time gave me a cancellation slip when I insisted on it. I paid cash for our drinks and vowed never to darken their doorstep again. Anyone can make a mistake; but to ignore the customer repeatedly, fail to fix the error, and then not even make your food!!!! Well. Patronize this place at your own risk unless you pay cash. read more

Y-e-s! This place is what's up. Kati wrap with crispy chicken was soooo yummy and the veggie momo was a happy place for me. All the food tasted so fresh and the spice game was on point. Fabulous! Chicken Tikka Masala is Very good. Lamb curry is Exceptional. Buffalo momo dumplings with chili sauce (not ridiculously spicy) were my son's favorite part. I have eaten in most of the Indian/Nepali restaurants in the Boston area, and this was probably my favorite. Not at all fancy inside, but absolutely flavorful food. And the Nepali employees are, as usual, far friendlier than their southern neighbors. read more

Perfect lunch spot if you're in the Tufts University area. NOTE: this isn't a stereotypical indian place. All of the curries are available as wraps (but you can get two curries with rice as a set). This has to be one of the best Indian places in Boston. Their Kati rolls taste superb (especially the Tikka Masala) and their Samosa are some of the best I've had. My personal favorite is the Samosa Chaat, which has a great combination of flavors. On top of that, they are always superfriendly. Just recently I ordered in advance but they were faster than expected. So I wasn't home and didn't pick up the phone (was on my bike), which must have been extremely annoying for them. Still, they left polite messages and in the end even managed to get to my apartment on the 3rd floor to leave my order at my door. Great food, great service, great place! read more

Thali Combo platter is a winner IMO. As a single, I'm so tired of paying for a full dish of one Indian entree. Boring. I like to mix up two entrees (in smaller portions) versus one large entree. Mint Indian Eatery is one of the few places where I can order a combo takeout. Say Chicken Tikka Masala and Chana Saag with basmati rice. Add a vegetarian samosa for a dollar if you want. Their food has no taste. Kathi rolls are just normal wraps. Chutneys were tasteless. Everything is just bland and they don't have any option to make the food spicy aswell. Momo was just meh. If you want to eat really good Momo, drive another 2 mins and go to Tasty Momo. read more

I had lunch at Mint with three friends, all of us new mothers. We brought our babies a little later in the day so we wouldn't bother other diners, and the staff was so incredibility welcoming. They helped us move some tables to accommodate the strollers and were very attentive throughout our meal. I had the chicken mo mos, which were delicious. Highly recommended! read more

Finally a place to rival Guru. I finally made my way to Mint after noticing they had opened recently. The food is great and you get HUGE portions. I ordered the Thali with Chicken Tikki masala and Chana Masala. You get a huge portion of rice as well as friend Samosa which is delicious and a dish of Dal, also amazing. After repeated cold food from Guru this place is a blessing. the one and only thing that held me back was the chicken tikki masala. While its not bad at all, it very good, its not the recipe you'd find from Guru, the recipe is more like what you would find at a mall but much better. I shouldnt actually say "mall" since ive had this same style in great Indian restaurants. its just reminds me of the kind I get at Gourmet India the most. Its the most popular style of tikki masala as opposed to Gurus own recipe. Its just an opinion, i think was spoiled by Guru and its not a gripe in the least. I'm glad the food is hot, the food is delicious, the location is in walking distance, the staff is friendly and im glad the teriyaki house is gone!, that place wasnt that great. Had high hopes because of the positive reviews but the food was extremely salty, especially the vegetarian fried noodles, which had very few veggies, and the chicken saag. Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen but the salt just overwhelmed any spice flavors.
