I wanted to get my nails done for my sister's bachelorette a few weeks ago, Mint was recommended to me by my chiropractor. It's been well over a year and a half since I had them done, mostly because I'm usually left unsatisfied but also because I bartend. They got me in for a mani/pedi right away even though they were busy, and my nails were perfect!! I came back today to redo my dip manicure and yet again, while extremely busy they still got me in immediately. Don did my nails today, he was easy to talk to plus I'm in love with the color and appreciate his quick yet flawless work. Also met the owner Nina, watching her efficiently multitask while also connecting with every single person that walked through the door was something else, as a bartender I recognize how challenging that can be but she handled everything with a grace and professionalism that can only come from truly caring and loving what you do. A friend recommended this Salon for me so I decided to give it a try. Needless to say I'll never be back. First I made an appointment and was sitting there waiting for 45mins just to sit in a chair other girls were going before me too. When I finally got seated the lady was very rude saying my nails were too short and asked if I bite my nails. As she is doing my nails she keeps stoping and telling me to relax my fingers.. honestly I wasn't doing anything and I've never had anything tell me to relax my fingers. Lastly OVER priced. I got a full set of acrylic nails and paid $55. Definitely would not recommend. The place is cute but the people there are rude and it Doesn't matter if you have an appointment even though they say you can't walk in. read more

She was distressed that I wasn't happy with my nails & even refunded the money when I didn't go get my nails redone. People are awesome; I'll give them another try at a later date. read more

Reviews about this place were spot on about cleanliness and friendliness, as well as getting a reservation. We came with a good sized bridal party with a reservation. They not only quickly sorted out each of our needs (mani, pedi, gel, or combo of these), but also had a spot to put each of us to wait for our service. They were very efficient to get to each of us. There were a few walk-ins that tried to get in but had to be turned away since we were there. Each was offered another time, though, which is much better than most places who just say no and let you walk out trying to find another place. Not so great things: didn't do edges of our nails well; messy and rushed, with the paint by the cuticles not completely covered and the second coat not matching the first. read more

Honestly, this is my worst experience at a nail salon - ever. My friend and I waited TWO HOURS to even start our nails. Given, they hadn't been open for a few days.. but still. We waited at least 30 minutes just to be asked what nail polish color we wanted but no one even showed us where to pick colors, what books to look at for what type of nails, etc. we had to ask another customer. Judy, the lady who did my nails, was honestly very rude and hardly said two words to me. The only words she DID say was directing me what to do which was hardly anything. I originally asked for my pinky finger and thumb to be a white color and when she put the original one on she asked if I liked it because it was totally transparent. When I said no, that I wanted white she brought back 3 pink colors... after again saying no I wanted white she brought back MORE pink colors. After saying no white for a third time, she told me to go get the book myself and pick something out (with wet nails).. and as I was looking comparing colors in the book to my nails she demanded my hand and then I had to ask her to hold the book for me just to look and pick something. At this point I felt very rushed and anxious so I just picked a random nude color. After she finished she said "go wash your hands" and I asked her where the sink was since it was my first time there and she totally ignored me and walked away to go do something else and never came back. She also didn't do that great of a job at simply painting my nails, because the polish (picture provided) doesn't even go all the way to my cuticles and in some areas is a little clumpy. Overall, I felt very uncomfortable almost the entire time, due to her being rude and how packed they were. The gel-polish (what I got) is also very overpriced ($35) and my friend had to pay $42 b/c if you use your debit/credit card they require you to leave at least a $7 tip. Due to the half ass job done by my nail tech AND the overpricing, I DO NOT recommend this place and my friend and I will not be going back. read more

I've been going to this nail salon for years! I started as a walk-in and got a guy i freaking loved, who slayed my nails for about two years... he left and i didn't know what to do. I started going to Julie soon after that and she has grown my nails long and makes them so pretty with dip! She cares about my nails & takes her time every single time!!! I did nails for 4ish years so when i say im picky.. I'm picky! The whole salon is incredibly nice - several nail techs know who i am and greet me when i walk in! The owner, Nina, is unmatched! The place appeared clean, and they were very busy, so that appeared to be a good sign. I went in for a dipped manicure while visiting the area. Normally a dipped mani takes 35-45 minutes at my regular place. This time it took almost TWO hours. The nail tech was friendly, she wasn't new, so I'm not sure what the issue was. She did okay on the service, but at the end she messed up my nails and 2 had to be re-touched up. They charged $35 for the mani, and my regular salon charges $30, but they do offer a hand massage and a paraffin dip. I am not likely to return. read more

Mint is my go-to nail salon because of location. Every time However, every time I go in there, they are packed. This last time, I walked in and they said that their wait time was 15-20 minutes so I made an appointment for later in the day and they wrote my name down in a book. When I showed up later for the appointment, I waited 35 minutes before being seated. I asked for a fill and gel with a small design on my ring finger. They rushed through the process and the edges of my nails were not clean lines, and already chipping a bit. They had to switch off what person worked on me for this little swirl of a ghost design and then charged me $5 extra for each finger. My total ended up being $65 which to me, is a lot for what I got. I've been going to Mint for nearly a year and they always ask if it's my first time. I've never felt like the customer is a priority to them. Their "book" is not organized and they need to look into management a bit more, so that wait time and appointments aren't tossed to the side. I'll probably be going elsewhere from now on. It's just not worth it. While waiting, I watched a woman on a couch next to me her her nails filed off, no towel, no cleanliness, just her old nail powder flying in the air on the couch and the floor. Is that sanitary?
