I had a wonderful experience with a female nail technician last August so I came back yesterday (November) since I was back here in town. The guy was not good at all. Very messy paint. He saw his "coloring outside the lines" and tried to fix it but just left it all over my toes. So strange. Lack of attention to detail. A lady was Very pushy for reviews on here. Literally wanted me to get out my phone right then and write reviews for them. Communication very challenging here. Their lotion smells terrible. It was my first pedicure in 5 months since having my baby and the guy who did my pedicure did a great prep but when it came to painting nails he was clueless. He had to start over 3 times, couldn't do a French tip, was putting way too much polish. I went to go get my acrylics removed, I was recommended by a friend that they'll soak them off and file them and stuff, well I got sat and the employee starts popping them off. The pain was real, I let her know three times it hurt but she said it was fine we were almost done, but she used like the tip of another acrylic to stuff under my nails and pop it off and I was sweating in my chair. A friend and I tried this place together and it was a nightmare! I made appointments more than a week in advance for two manicures. From the moment we got there, the employees tried to push us into pedicures as well. To the point that they ran water into the basins and directed us to go there. They seemed confused that we wanted to sit beside each other to the point that they had someone go sit in my friend's chair while she rinsed off her hands. Honestly, I can't make this crap up! I told them when I made the appointment that I wanted nail art. They told me to bring a picture of what I wanted. I brought four different options because I didn't know the skill level that they would have. They said no to all four. I chose one more that they finally said yes to. Then, they refused to paint my nails the color I wanted or the design I wanted and explained that "it will be ugly". They refused to do gel nails and told me I "wanted" acrylic. I was very clear that I wanted the nails rounded not square. EIGHTY DOLLARS LATER I rounded them in the car myself. This place takes advantage of people's guilt for not being understood. It is a rip off. They will nickel and dime you forever and ignore what you ask for. If you value attention to detail do not go to this nail salon. My gel manicure polish has tiny air bubbles in it, and it's so thin it's chipping off an hour after completion. Also the curing light was extremely hot. I had to pull my hands out multiple times. read more

I had been to this establishment some years ago, which I didn't remember until they had pulled my number up in their system. My experience here wasn't the best but it was a few hours before a dinner party and my daughter was getting her nails done there. I got a mani/pedi and eyebrow waxing. The eyebrow waxing was about the only thing that I would not complain about. When doing the manicure, the lady did not clean under my nails I had to tell her to. I also had to tell her to file my nails. My pedicure was ok except it has now been over a month since I was there and the side of my big toe where she pulled skin off the side of my nail is still sore and I am not able to wear certain shoes because it is painful. Now I see why I hadn't been back to this business! I won't forget again. Never going back. read more

This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to in my life. I came here to get a simple baby pink nail color. I showed the tech the reference photo and she asked me if I wanted it to be pink, I said yes. I told her that this was a special nail appointment because I think my boyfriend is going to propose soon. I asked her nicely a few times throughout the appointment to fix a few crooked nails. Her response was "it's not crooked," and then proceeded to give me a really hard time about asking nicely to fix the shape. When she would then file my nails, she would say something like "is that what you want?" In a condescending tone. I began to cry because she was being so mean to me. She then kept saying "why are you crying? I didn't do anything wrong. You are making me look bad." Over and over again, which obviously made it worse. The color that it ended up being was a pink chrome, like the image attached (I didn't take a picture of my nails). I asked her if she could make it look more like the picture I brought, and she then began to argue that I had "agreed" to her doing the pink chrome, even though I told her I wanted the exact style in the photo. At this point, I was tired of her berating me and said "it's fine," and went and paid. I paid $55 to be treated like garbage. People in the salon could see how upset I was, which was embarrassing for me, because all I wanted was pretty nails for my special day approaching. But instead I was met with a mean nail tech who wouldn't listen to me. She eventually removed the chrome and slightly redid the color, but my nails are still crooked and there is still some chrome on my nails. And when she was fixing the color, she kept saying "is that okay? Is that the right color now?" In a real derogatory tone, forcing me to talk through my tears. She was also still telling me that I was making her look bad and that she didn't do anything wrong. She also was on her phone texting and answering phone calls and stopped working on my nails to do so. Confrontation isn't easy me and it took a lot for me to ask if I could simply have the nails not be crooked and for it to look like the picture. I feel embarrassed and disappointed, and mostly upset that the nail visit I have been most excited for was ruined by mean and careless employees. read more

So the quality of pedicures have gone down. The tech doing my feet barley used the scrubber on the bottom of my feet. Both the bottom of my feet were not smooth. The tech didn't clean up around my nail bed. He left dead skin around my toes and nail bed. He suggested gel polish 4 times. I told him no because the take off process of Gel polish was making my nail really thin. He began to talk to the other tech and did the bare minimum on my pedicure. I've been coming here since they opened and never have experienced a low quality lack luster pedicure. The bottom of my feet look like I never got a pedicure at all. The nail paint was splotchy and not even. I did bring my own white polish. He handed it back to me and for a 5th time suggested gel. I explained to him again why I didn't want gel polish because my nails were thin. He suggested acrylic overlay. Then he did the thinest layer possible and charged me $10 extra. Which if I would have paid for gel polish for $15 my pedicure would have been cleaner and A1 service! This tech cut my nail bed and did a thin overlay to try and cover up. But you still could see that I was bleeding under my nailbed. You can't force people to do gel service and when they tell you why do a horrible pedicure because the customer explains why they don't want a gel pedicure at this time. I discovered this place a few years ago and was impressed by the cleanliness and great service. I do recommend going during off hours as this place does get busy and it's in a super busy parking lot right across from the Starbucks on penn in Chisholm creek. They have chocolates on every table and you can also get anything from soda to wine. The drink is a $1 up charge if you want alcohol which is a steal either way! The manicure stations are located in the middle of the place and the comfy pedicure chairs with massage are along the walls. They have a large menu of services i always opt in for the medium of the line pedicure the "urbane" it's $35 and includes scrub, callus removal, massage and scent of your choice. I have done the rose which is a level up but the only thing i notice in this one is they use the candle wax to also rub in and massage. If you like hard deep pressure massage like i do ask for tin! The guy literally didn't even take off the old color that was on . Tried to convince me that what he put on was good enough for me paying $50 !! I was so upset with his work. I told the tech & shower here where NOT to touch my foot (in an area where there's nerve damage from a needle that broke off). I felt like Holly who did my nails was grilling me about where I get my nails done and gave me an ugly face when I told her that I didn't get them done there. When she handed me the book to choose my pedicure. She automatically turned the page to the $75 one to which I told her no I usually get the $35 one. From that point forward I felt like I got a lazy pedicure. She did not even clean out the sides of my toes, barely scrubbed for calluses, pausing to talking to the other workers, and the massage was awful. To add, all of the other workers were sitting in the pedicure chairs next to me being quite loud and clearly talking about customers. Unfortunately, this will be my last time coming here. read more

I've been to this place twice now and both times did not enjoy the service sure the inside is clean and looks nice but unfortunately the service isn't that great. The second time I went there I had dip nails done on my hands and the lady that I had was rushing typically it's recommended for your nails to be under the light or lamp for about 30 seconds she would switch over to the other hand the second she was done painting the other I'd say I barely got about 10 seconds under the lamp, I had my nails done a few days ago and already I have a nail that's chipped and for dip it should last atleast 3 weeks.
