Most salons I have sent a request to refuse to respond to clients during non-business hours, so that was impressive to me. She sent me a text about 30 minutes before my appointment with more detail on how to get to the salon, which was a nice touch, and much appreciated since I'm new to OKC. The salon is next door on the west side) of Miracle Revival Church and across from Sunnyside Diner. There is free parking on the street and I believe there is some parking in the lot next to the salon where diner patrons also park. The brick building looks very similar to the church so you could easily miss it. When you walk in the door that says "Inspired Nail Bar," there is another business to the right and hers is straight into the door in front of you. Her salon is nice and quiet. Kiki is the owner and only nail technician, so it's just the two of you unless you bring a friend or the next client comes in. I hadn't been to a private salon in quite a while, but I like it! I requested gel nails. She uses Kiara Sky, which I have seen, but never used. She took the time to talk to me, asked me what I wanted, what I liked and she made it a very pleasant experience. She keeps a clean, cute shop. I look forward to going back for a pedicure in the near future.

I booked a full set of acrylics with regular polish for 2 of my daughters, and I booked a deluxe pedicure. Once there, i upgraded my pedicure to a seashell pedicure for the paraffin wax and extra 3 minutes of massage. The soaking water was lukewarm/almost cold, definitely not relaxing. The massage shouldn't be called a massage at all. She slid her hands and seashells up and down my legs without applying any pressure whatsoever. No foot massage, which I definitely could've used because I am on my feet constantly throughout the day. She even stopped her "massage" about a minute before the 13 minute timer was up. The polish on my toenails is horrible. There is polish on my skin, lumps, and the color is way too far away from my cuticles, making it look crazy. My toenails are cut extremely short to where it's painful, and they are all uneven. I will not be wearing sandals until they grow out and I can get back into my usual salon to fix them. For the first set of acrylics with regular polish, i was charged for a set of gel x nails. Obviously I didn't book that nor want that. The nails ended up being absolutely atrocious and do not look professionally done in the slightest. They are lumpy, have many jagged, unsmooth edges, and there are multiple spots where there is no polish, or the glitter does not cover the base color. The second set was booked as the same, but i was charged for an acrylic set with gel polish. These are the best looking nails out of the bunch, but there are still a few jagged edges and a completely different glitter was used than in the inspiration photo that my daughter showed her tech. Both my girls left extremely disappointed as this was their first set of "fake nails" for back to school, but they are sweet and didn't want to complain or upset their nail techs. I would've mentioned being charged for things I didn't book when checking out, but the only thing I was shown was the total, and the receipt didn't get delivered to my phone until we were already almost home, and we live close to an hour away.

Their actual massage was not very confortable- not enough pressure with their hands but hurt me with hot stones that were too hot. My friend and I specifically picked pedicures without the hot stone because we hate it and we're confused when they pulled it out. There is a clear unequal treatment between new and regular customers, which is understandable. However, if you don't introduce yourself or interact with us, it makes it hard for us to be regulars when the service is subpar.

There are bubbles in 7/10 of my nail top coat that you can see very clearly, they look dirty. You can see streaks over the white part. Two of my nails are cut crooked or are on crooked. When trimming my cuticles I had a small cut on the side of my finger she cut the skin back on which made it bleed really bad, and then she put some stuff on it used a towel to clean the blood up and kept using utensils which didn't seem very sanitary when blood is involved. And then she accidentally cut my thumb which started bleeding..and i get accidents happen. Overall I just wanted a nice French style look and it's just not good. My friend showed a picture of what she was trying to do before committing to getting hers done and she was told they could do them and they got messed up too (same girl). It's just the work that wasn't worth $40 for me to literally want to go home and paint over them. I hate leaving bad reviews but I wouldn't recommend this place. We both left disappointed. I did call the salon, I asked for a manager, one wasn't available. I asked to leave my info and a guy put me on the phone with the person who did my nails. She did offer to redo them. I told her because of the number of mistakes that were made I didn't want to come back there, that I would pay my normal place to fix them. I asked that o be refunded. She said to send her pictures of my nails and if they're not right she'll refund me. I sent her the photos attached. After telling her I had put them on this post and she said that wouldn't work and I needed to take my review down and come in so she could redo them. I told her I stood by my post and that I would update it if the issue was corrected. After sending her the photos she said that when I left my middle nail that's lifting wasn't like that. And they won't refund my money that I can come in and get them redone. I text her back and told her that if she didn't want to make it right, that's her choice but I would appreciate a manager calling me back. I'm not normally a person who does all of this I'm not a "Karen" by any means but this wasn't ok.
